Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S1 E13 Some Enchanted Evening

Hello again time travelers (and babies that don’t need sitting),

May 13th 1990, the season Finale of Season 1 of The Simpsons. The Simpson children are left home alone (with a thief/babysitter) which may have been the inspiration to “Home Alone” which premiered later that year on November 16th 1990. 😫

If you haven’t rewatched any of the Season 1 episodes I suggest you do. If you need to keep the kids busy while you binge-watch I suggest you get a babysitter or find their favorite video and keep replaying it for them. If you follow these instructions you too might have a memorable night like Homer and Marge in this episode.

A Now A Word from EA….Time To Update Your Device

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So the Superheroes Sequel Removal update not only brought the Monorail back to our Pocket Sized Springfields, it also brought a warning about a MAJOR change that’s about to hit our games very soon.  This is super important, so listen up….

On August 16th TSTO will NO LONGER BE SUPPORTED on devices that are not on iOS 7 (or higher) and Android 3 (or higher).  So if you’re playing on an older device…check your OS if it’s lower than iOS 7 or Android 3 you will NO LONGER BE ABLE TO PLAY TSTO ON THAT DEVICE, starting August 16th.  Continue reading →

Superheroes Sequel 2016 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Superheroes Sequel Event released a bunch of new items into our Springfields.  Everything from a backstreet alley to satellite stations to comic book shops to evil labs!  So let’s take a look at how these new and items impact our Conform-O-Meter…

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Superheroes Sequel event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations.  So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →
