Where Did THAT Come From- Island of Dr. Hibbert

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

In this post I will be going over the Origin of Island of Dr. HibbertWhy is it in our games? What does it have to do with Halloween? Let’s dive into the Simpsons TV Series to find out more.

Island of Dr. Hibbert was brought into our games during Act 1 of the Halloween 2016 Event as a Premium Purchase option.

Should I Spend Donuts On the Island of Dr. Hibbert?

This is something that Wookiee has been hinting at that he would like to have added in the game. It’s not quite all the Characters and Buildings involved, but at least it is a start. You can see more about his wish list here.

This episode is a play on the show Island of Dr. Moreau. The Simpsons are spending their vacation on the Island of Lost Souls. What could be more fun that an Island shaped by a BIG Smiley Face?

In the end, the Simpsons find a way to enjoy their new lives as “freaky animals” and stay on the Island.

  1. This Island is now in the Yearbook for 30 donutereenos.. But the amazing Treehouse Horror/Moreau characters don’t seem to come with it at all, BOO ;_; It’s seems to just be a huge float-alone huge deco to stuff your ocean with… (im afraid to spend those 30 sprinkles just to check if it does anything. If only the horror char skins came with it, I’d be on it like a fly on a tasty donut)..

  2. Wookiee always gives a pretty detailed WDTCF.
Sorry Bunny but this one seemed a little lazy to me.

    • No one can top Wookiee’s awesome WDTCFs. I think Bunny rushed to knock a bunch out since I was hounding her for them for weeks…(since Wookiee’s busy with school)

    • If it was all about ALL the island, the characters, etc etc etc… then yes… a VERY long and detailed post would be included. Since this was just Island itself, as you see in your game and the image, there is not really any further elaboration to it at all. Hence I ALSO included Wookiee’s ramblings of all the really cool stuff ON the actual Island we still would like to see hit the game. Until that time, when an item is a 10 second blip in a TV Series… then you get a 10 second blip of a recap. Just sayin. 😉

  3. Wow. This Island, Werewolf Flanders, Death, Frinkenstein, Shinning Mansion and more to come… Wookie foresaw a lot of things last year. Or EA read his post and took notes. haha

  4. Josephine Kick@$$

I got it & I think it’s cool😎 No regrets here, can’t wait to see what I can do to tie it in with one of my boardwalks 😀😀

  5. I didn’t end up grabbing it but I did enjoy that episode. It seems like a lost opportunity just chucking this in at the beginning of the first week when that episode alone had enough characters/skins and items/buildings to be the theme of one of these THOH events alone.

Hopefully they bring some of those characters into future events. Who wouldn’t want a job with Chief Piggum eating toenails out of slops?

  6. Got it, regret it, nuff said.

  7. I mentioned on the SIB post how I got this and I regretted it. A few weeks later and I still feel the same. The island is fairly large and does nothing, as well, the design of it is completely out of proportion to the majority of other items. I should’ve saved the sprinkles, but what’s done is done.

  8. It seems to me that the island is a bit of a lost opportunity. They could have made it extensible in the fashion of either the Island Hideaway or the Tailgate Party. I mean, people actually spend donuts on those things not *just* because of the bonus enhancements — although, that’s a pretty big fringe benefit — but also because they’re just plain *interesting*. An island that doesn’t really do anything? Not so much.

  9. No room. I just need one new row added to the ocean, I’m choking on that tiny river they give us with all the water stuff.

  10. Got it weeks ago. Adds color to the dock.
