Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Who’s ready to take a trip into the multi-verse?! Get ready for the many Homer, and other Simpson, doppelgangers to invade our Springfields through the multi-verse portal in the latest multi-event to hit our Springfield’s…Into the Simpsonsverse! As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on September 8th. However, Act 4 will start on August 31st (Note the Tuesday start date).
Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between the multiple Homers…
Anime Homer: Noble warriors! I am to come for to help you in bad timing of great stress.
Noir Homer: Can anyone else understand this guy? He sounds a little funny.
Homer: Yeah, he hasn’t learned yet in the ways of how to talk good English like us yet.
Princess Homer: And what do we call you, valiant knight?
Anime Homer: Anime Homer! Great and powerful ally. You are to battle the ominous evil godmother, yes?
Noir Homer: You know about the evil godmother? *narrating* He asked, unnecessarily. The knock-out drops must have dulled his wits… *narrating* Not that they were razor-sharp to begin with, he thought in the cruel, self-mocking tone that no amount of two-fisted gumshoe-ing could silence.*narrating* He briefly wondered why he was so hard on himself, but nobody was paying him to work that case, so he let it go. He needed a drink.
Anime Homer: Yes, I am knowing of evil godmother. She destroyed my townhome.
Princess Homer: You mean your hometown?
Anime Homer: No, my townhome. It share walls with honorable neighbors.
Noir Homer: We really gotta put a stop to this godmother before she does any more damage.
Anime Homer: Anime Homer will train you. Yes! Train you all!
Homer: Awesome! I bet he’s gonna teach us kung fu! C’mon, what’re we waiting for?!
Noir Homer: Wait, did you saps forget already? That evil godmother dame is on her way to the nuclear plant. There’s no time for a training montage, no matter how ironic or meta.
Homer: Don’t worry. As a nuclear technician I have a sure-fire danger-detection system in place!
This triggers the Act 3 questline, A Four-Course of Action and is followed by a 4hr task for Homer, Princess Homer and Noir Homer, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (115). A Four-Course of Action is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 3…
Here’s the Act 3 Synopsis from EA:
Anime Homer is thrust into Springfield and greets his fellow Homers with a mighty cheer, and some poor English. He then offers to help “train” everyone for their upcoming battle against the evil godmother. Thinking he’s referring to kung fu, the gang happily follows him back to his hometown.
When they arrive at an Anime Krusty Burger, everyone is confused, and Anime Homer then explains that he will train them all in the ways of his forefathers, competitive eating! Everyone struggles, except for Homer who is a natural, and Anime Homer then deems that the group is ready because Homer will pick up the slack for everyone else.
After hopping onto Yo Yo’s Cloud Palace to make their way back to the plant, they find that the godmother is there attempting to summon her army. So, in desperation, Noir Homer takes an axe to the machine to end this menace once and for all. However, that destabilizes the portal, which then starts spitting things out from the entire multi-verse!
As I stated above, you’ll go right into A Four-Course of Action questline, which is what the Act 3 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 3 prizes.

DO NOT FORGET TO SCROLL UP AND DOWN IN THE TASK BOXES (PICTURED ABOVE) TO BE SURE TO COMPLETE ALL TASKS FOR EACH PART.
I’ll lay out specifically what you need to do for each part in the turbo tappin’ post, but I don’t want any of you to get messed up with this. So don’t forget to SCROLL!
Here are the prizes for Part 3:

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event. So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc.

These are STILL unlockable if you haven’t completed that prize track. You have until the event ends to unlock ALL the prizes. So keep going with the earlier Acts if you haven’t yet finished it. You have until September 8th to finish those…

Anime District looks like the type of building you can run a road through, but I have not been able to get it to work. Any tips on how to place it over a road? Or does it just not work with this building?
Has anyone else successfully purchased Anime Homer & Anime District, successfully placed and built the District, received Anime Homer and sent him to collect act 3 currency? Then return after 4 hours to find he and the building are gone and he’s back for sale?
I can farm donuts so fortunately I didn’t spend hard currency on this – but it’s an annoyance to see it gone and his currency not earned for event credit. I’m trying again to purchase him – fingers crossed it will still be there when I check back after the 4 hour collection period.
Until I see what happens after buying him – again – and going through a full earning cycle, I won’t report/contact EA. However, I’ll contact them tomorrow.
My game didn’t sync either at 11:05am Eastern. I purchased him and sent everyone on the first round of event currency collection. I cam back 4 hours later only to find the Act had not yet started and I had to start all over again. I had to purchase Anime Homer and send all my characters on task again. However, after the second go, every one went and I am underway.
I should point out though that I was not charged 150 donuts when I came back 4 hours later. It was as though my 11am tap did not happen and my 3:30pm tap was the first tap of the day.
Thanks for your insights, Safi. I didn’t actually start Act 3 until somewhere around 4-5pm today and hadn’t checked my game at all prior to that today. Odd that though we both had a problem with the first round of Act 3, we each had such different problem details with the first round and the new premium character.
Just when I thought that small dedicated EA Staff had put some effort into it? I am reminded that this truly is a separate Mini Event for each Act …. 😂
Yes, I actually broke my ‘no Tapping on weekends’ rule just to check things out, I used 🍩’s to expedite and obtain:
_Ishidoro – it’s nice, doesn’t take up Real Estate – but I’d rather have Act 3’s Event Currency (Lucky 🐈’s) as a Prize and I would’ve paid 🍩’s for extras (doh! Award goes to EA!)
_Anime Krusty Burger – yep I had to get this Building (it’s an actual Building, not a Building Skin, and that small dedicated EA Staff gets thank you’s!) I would’ve spent sprinkles for more of them (another doh! Award goes to EA!)
This is where I Tapped Out on Act 3 (nothing else interests me!) I’m not grinding for:

_a Building I’ve no space for (need Land Expansion!)
_a Marge Simpson Clone (Character, or Skin!)
Yes, Act 3’s Premium Character Combo offers up a Building style that is my favourite – but I have no room for it! (why spend the sprinkles on something that’s going to go into Storage due to lack of space? or plopped and gets move around as I edit my Springfield?) Character, or Character Skin, it’s one too many Homer Simpson Clones at once – that’s been a reoccurring problem in every Multi-Act Event this year (variants of the Simpsons Family and not enough New Characters!)
The rest of Act 3 is Content that will end up in a Mystery Box to me (I appreciated what I obtained, but Act 3 gets the same slow 👏🏻 as Act 2 with some doh! Awards!) I need another Vacation with the Mrs (we’re both vaccinated, so we won’t have problems with Entry anywhere!) and that’s what Punk Rock 🎳 is next month! 🤔
3 of my 4 towns won Crawl from the Mystery Token. Is there anything I can do with him without spending 100 donuts on the Wizard Frink costume? Wizard Martin is the only Wizard in the Yearbook. Two of them are still in storage, waiting.
Forgot it was act 3 today lol, put everyone on 24hr task, need some more portals to Rigel 7 for my design but only seem to be portals to nowhere where available,
Yeah more Rigel 7 Portals would’ve been clever to have the opportunity spending the sprinkles on. I will give that small dedicated EA Staff another thank you for allowing me to obtain more:

I’m enjoying what I got out of Act 3, just 2 Prizes and the rest is ‘meh I’m not interested in’.

This is probably one of the better acts for this event. There’s 2 building on the prize track (Anime Krusty Burger and Yo Yo’s Cloud Palace) which makes up for the lack of building prizes in the previous act. There’s only 1 decoration (Ishidoro) which looks cool and only costs 5 donuts to get more which is much better than 10 and 20 donuts each in previous events. The characters (Anime Homer and Anime Marge) look cool and looks like they’ll have some fun tasks. The premium building (Anime District) will fit in with other Japanese and Anime items from previous events including the Department of Magical Vehicles and Walking Kwik-E-Mart. I’m a bit surprised that Anime Marge was the prize and not Anime Homer since we got Princess Homer and Noir Homer in the last 2 acts.
I agree Santos….I think most people favor the 1st prize track, but I think this one is just as good, maybe better? Kinda related…..I’m not much of a family guy fan, but I happened to see one of the cross over episodes the other day, where Brian says..”Santa’s Stupid Name”….being from northern Maine…., the ployes and Pate Chinois went flying!
