It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Did anyone else has problems with the iOS version of TSTO over the weekend? I had it download a small update (presumably for the grease collection) and after that the app would just crash after a few seconds once I tapped the login screen with my info in the corner. I tried phone restart, etc with no luck. After trying many times Friday night and Saturday AM, finally on Sat night I tried it again and it crashed so I force closed the app and then tried again and got the Bart screen two times and once I hit retry a third time it actually went into the app and has gone in every time since. Very strange. Was glad I did not have to delete the app and re-download the petabytes of data it requires back onto the phone. . .

I’ve been having the same problem since Friday. The game keeps downloading so called ” updates ” and each time this happens,
A blue box appears asking for permission to launch update…
This is a new system I got during the XMAS debacle. I’ll call E. A. and see what the Grand pubah has to say.

Usually, when a device keeps trying to update TSTO, it means there’s not enough free space on the device. TSTO takes a LOT of room to run properly! (There’s an article about this issue somewhere in the site, but I don’t have the time right now to search for it for you…sorry!)
Long time reader, first time poster… Just wondering if everyone is still getting a land token in their daily challenges? I haven’t seen one as a bonus prize in weeks. Unfortunately I didn’t get GGR when it was available and am running out of space 🙈
I think I got 3 in a year from daily challenges – not great.
I was lucky to get the GGR soon after starting a second town for the Winter 2019 event – didn’t hesitate and paid for the sprinkles when that showed up ’cause I knew from my A town how much I’d need it and how it was quite rare for it to be back in store.

I am avoiding completing my taxes so here is a 7 min video of parts of my towns concentrating on celebrating Milhouse and Farmer Markets.
Now I’m on Level 939 I Saved up £30 million in game currency and bought a 5x XP and bought £20 million worth of rat catcher vehicles and then started collecting my bonus donuts. After a few bonuses (4-5) it crashed and then when I loaded it up it only did one bonus doughnuts and then stopped. Gutted! 😭
When you don’t have a huge bonus and a load of cash in the bank just place enough trucks or collect enough KEMs to get one round at a time. If the XP showing in the counter and the XP you earned and not yet counted comes to more than 2 million at level 939 and Bart shows up or your game glitches out and reloads it pays one bonut round and sets the XP counter to zero.
I’ve got maxed out cash and somewhere over 16,000% and it still leaves me feeling ripped off when that happens.
There’s another glitch that gets you with a heap of XP too, somewhere between 3 and 4 million it loses count and pays one less round then it should. Earn tons with an item and it can lose more, I get over 10 million XP from a truck but 1 truck is 8 rounds, 2 trucks is 18 and 3 is 28 . . . Don’t ask, not a clue !!
That is the reason most Tappers only buy a few Rat Trap Trucks at a time.
I used to buy only ten at a time just in case the game crashes. I don’t donut farm anymore, don’t need to, I have over 160 thousand donuts.
Thanks guys! At least it’s not just me ! I’ll take it slower next time to be on the safe side! 😅
Just a question has anyone else noticed that you can no longer tap on the Entry Gate for Krusty Land and view your ticket count or exchange tickets for currency?
Happens when you get $3 billion or more.

We got a lil’ 93° heatwave, but that’s going to be replaced by 60° with 🌧️ in the next 24 hours (yep climate change is real!)
That is weather not climate change. Not that climate change isn’t real. 20,000 years ago the earth was in an ice age. Yeah climate change.
That is a changing weather due to climate change (ie we have never recorded a temperature over 77° in March, there’s the prolonged drought in the Western United States, along with continuous problems due to 🔥’s).

Finished the event in most of my games, on the last tasks in a couple of others.
It’s now 17:30 UK time and I’ve been trying to connect since early this morning. Keep getting Bart screen with ‘Failed to connect to servers’. Anyone else experiencing this?
Late March freeze in the thumb of Michigan. 18 last night, supposed to go down to 14 tonight. Its 21 right now. My “pond” from all the rain has turned into a skating rink. Canal is still frozen over. All Temps in Fahrenheit.

There’s 2 currencies so it could count building taps in Part 2, the send on tasks just has earned by characters and you’ve got one from a building somewhere.
I fought the Battle of the Timers and ended up with all the grease needed for parts 3, 4 and 5, so I just had the 4 hour send . . to do for each part !?! 😊
It’s been a week since the last Addicts Live and I haven’t seen any mention about it. I am just curious about what the name of Safi’s “mystery” Las Vegas hotel is? Are you going to tell us?
