Monster Hunter Homer: This is for the Happy Sumo.
Osaka Squid: A Japanese restaurant.
Monster Hunter Homer: Ahh, I getcha. Where monsters like Godzillas and Mothras hang out.

Note on the Part 4 jobs, Monsters are needed:
EDIT: EA have said that Taekwon Dracula should count as a Monster for the Part 4 task ( Act 2 Prize 5 ) and will be releasing a fix soon – yay !!
Added The three Premium monsters from this event also now count for the task, Kung Fu Werewolf, Ninja from the Black Lagoon and Mixed Martial Medusa
If you haven’t yet got to Part 4 of the Monster Hunter Homer quest and own none of the Monsters it’ll now skip that task.
If you have got to Part 4 already you’ll still need to get at least 1 Monster for the job.
If you don’t have at least one Monster from previous events you will get stuck with this, sorry.
The only positive – while it’s no doubt annoying to get a stuck quest it’s a side-quest so it won’t stop you getting on with anything else and will be there when you do get a Monster or three.
If you can spare the sprinkles these are Monsters you can use:
Amenhotep, Cthulhu, Count Dracula, Countess Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, Jelly Monster, Julienstein, M’nthster, Nosferatu, She-Wolf, Werewolf, Womenhet.
Added: the best bet for those needing Monsters is Count Dracula for 75 Ds or the Castle for 160 Ds and two Monsters rather than 150 Ds for just one.
The four new Monsters won’t help: They do now !!
Taekwon Dracula, Kung Fu Werewolf, Ninja from the Black Lagoon, Mixed Martial Medusa.

That’s the prizes covered, back on Monday with the Dialog Recap.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Any ideas what’s up with the missing monster characters on the Halloween event splash page? We never got 4-armed Frankenstein, Golem, or the Blob characters
I gladly would have traded the Mighty Oak Leader, MMA Jesus and Alien Bart to have the complete set.
Has anyone else gotten a message saying their game isn’t saved on their other device? I have only played on one device. Nothing appears to be missing. It is very confusing. Thanks.
It’s common, usually after needing to log in again, and usually isn’t an issue unless you do play on two or more devices.
Simply tap to Play Anyway / Continue if it happens to you again.
It happens with some frequency. Just tell it you’re okay with going ahead…no harm will come.
Hi, can you put pictures of the monsters that i need for the stuck mission?
You can check the names in the above article against what’s back in store, use the Search function here for ’em or an Internet Search
The store guide for this event can be found here …

For some reason, it will not let me complete part 2. It will let me make Monster hunter Homer help with the cookout, but for the remaining task, making Ned realize he doesn’t have enough food, I get the little red circle with the white line through it on the task icon. Ned is free, but when I click on the “Do it” button, it takes me to my inventory for decorations. Is there a decoration I need in play to make this task work?
Springfield Park Entrance …

… when a quest task takes you to Inventory or the Store it usually lands on the item you need and highlights it with Yellow text for you.
That said, if it goes to the Store there may be other items that would also work and may cost less or are better value, so it’s always worth finding out before buying – like the best bet for those needing Monsters is Count Dracula for 75 Ds or the Castle for 160 Ds and two Monsters rather than 150 Ds for just one.
Thanks! That worked!
Dracula is only 75 donuts. I went ahead and bought him to clear the task.
Extremely disappointed it needs a premium monster to complete the task. I hate having tasks stored in my task bar and try to complete them as they show up. Hopefully EA can patch this so I can complete the task.
Thanks for the note about needing other monsters to finish part 4. I hope this was an accident because EA has never required the purchase of a premium character to finish a non-premium questline. My newer game doesn’t have any of the monsters yet, so stuck.
Confirming that Blinky Monster will not qualify to complete the event, even though it’s under the Treehouse of Horror XXXIV collection of monsters. I should have checked back on the list in the post; at least it was a Yearbook 30 donut purchase and not the full 150.
