Curious about what’s included in the next event? When does it start? How many donuts do you need? Who should you keep free? Want some major event spoilers?! Well look no further…we answer all of that and more here…

prizes have been a big W for us this year. i would just love to see a change in the event format
A tomacco event without any tomacco plants or strung-out farm animals? Boo-urns!
Mystery box tokens for donuts? Any clue on cost per token.. should be an awesome event.
Won’t know until the update is out, but 60 or sometimes 70 donuts for a single token is what they usually cost recently.
It’s also usual to get 5 for the price of 4 if you need a few
I love the screen titl card. Homer as the godfather. I want the t-shirt, and the one halloween with Poe and Lovecraft are the best. You guy should them as tee. I love to buy one or two. I sure I am not alone in this respect.
You’d need to contact the Studio about that, or risk a lawsuit over copyright.

I’m glad they have a Capitol City building as I was thinking that would be my next design project at the tip of my Northwest Passage. Glad a lot of the buildings don’t have SF in the name so I can use them over there. I hope the Spuckler barn and corn field aren’t too big, I don’t want to attempt any major relocation efforts. Can someone just tell me when this event is going to start? I don’t like spoilers, so I never watch these videos.
Suggestion: It would be great if just that piece of info was included in the intro text for these posts, like, “Curious about what’s included in the next event, which starts on ____?”

Or you can check the timer on the shattered dreams box that you probably see every day. When that timer ends..the next event begins.
I will get everything except Donut promo which I never buy as I have too many donuts already.
I agrre my Fat Tony will stay in his hot tub which is currently set up as a party zone out front of Roscos steelworks.
The premiums look good especially the one with numerous cop decorations I hope to buy duplicates too.
Going to have to expand my rough end of town but if trash island floats I probably won’t use unless it can go on land water (tiles)

I personally don’t have a problem with the Mystery Box Tokens being in event prize tracks. What I don’t like about Mystery Box Tokens as event prizes is that EA is no longer bundling the Mystery Box Tokens with new content as pert of the same event prize on the prize track.
Also, EA needs to give us A LOT more than 20 total prizes with these Multi-Event prize tracks. I mean didn’t we use to get more than 20 prizes worth of new content with the classic major events from 6+ years ago?
Finally, I think that Sky Finger IS in the Splash Screen for this event, but this time we get to see Sky Finger’s whole hand instead of just Sky Finger, itself, alone.
But seeing Sky Fingers whole hand, and not just the one finger; is like seeing Wilson’s whole face on Home, Improvement, and not just part of his face. It ruins the longstanding gag.
The events prior to these 4-act ones were 3 acts lasting 2 weeks each, like 3 back-to-back mini-events over a month and a half.
They were 5 prizes an act too, so 15 prizes in 6 weeks versus 20 prizes in 5 weeks.
Dunno what they may have been like before Xmas 2015, that’s when I first tapped.
They did have things like crafting though, which meant more items ( personally, hated that, especially when they included level-ups so you had to craft a load of unwanted items to get the chance to unlock things you liked )
Going to have to do some re-designing to put buildings in with similar buildings.. not a bad thing really! Whack a mole will gather dust as Fat Tony will ALWAYS be in his hot tub in my town also!!
Overall quite like it, interesting new stuff , curious to see Homers new tasks also, although (again) for me he will be forever singing the stonecutters song with Wiggum, Kristy and No 51!!!
Great event, although I wish you would stop being so down on Tokens. Tokens are sort of my old chance to get a lot of items and there’s not really a lot of chances to get them.
Not down on them, just not a fan of them being using as a prize on the prize track. It’s EAs way of saying “well we can’t come up with 20 prizes, so here’s 16 and some old stuff”
Plus, they’re not very helpful for longtime players, too, who may already have wall of the unique items. I’m with you, Alissa — I’m all for offering ways for folks to get prior items they missed, but not as prizes on the prize track.
Yeah, love the tokens and being a new player it’s a great chance of picking up stuff from previous evets, pity they’re not prizes this time round, even just one would have been cool.

This looks like a pretty cool event. Lots of great prizes, only a couple of duds. Love seeing Michael Rapaport again. I like his Mike’s Slices decoration from a previous event. Not surprised, but disappointed no mention of any new land becoming available. It’s going to be difficult to squeeze in all the new buildings, although a few of them look to be on the smaller size. But I’m definitely looking forward to it. Thanks for the spoiler video!
