EA has been doing banger events for 2024. Desert theme is PERFECT with all the NW Passage land that we have that most of us already made into the desert area. Love having more stuff rather than characters that i end up storing anyways. This is nice!
Is it possible that previous decorations from Pride events will be available at some point? I started a new game last fall and have a Gayborhood all planned out. I’m also hoping my pride crosswalks generated out of One Night Stan’s will gain their functionality to be rainbow stripes instead of plain white.
For an event that is suppose to span the entire month of June, I’m a bit disappointed that there doesn’t appear to be any content for Pride Month (at least no new content). As for new content in general, especially regarding this event, I don’t think that EA is scraping the barrel (as another player worded it in their comment). There’s still plenty of 35 seasons worth of unused content from the TV show alone. So, in my opinion, I think that it is just a matter of EA is not even trying to give us any better quality content, I think it’s one of the reasons for why the current event format is so stale now. Another reason is that EA keeps giving us the same returning over and over again, when there’s still plenty of old content that hasn’t gotten rereleased. And some of that old content only gets rereleased in the form Mystery Boxes, which is a problem if want to get more than one of a particular non-unique item. Even some of the Shattered Dreams Mystery Boxes are being rereleased way more frequently than they should be.
Yes, sad there’s no new content, but hoping previous Pride event decor will pop up as a surprise.

I’m interested in the sand tile but what I’d really like is for the gold tiles to make a gold bridge like the road tiles do.
I wonder if things can be placed on the sand tiles… will wait and see
I’ve been playing since Summer 2022 (way back, before “events”), and I think this is the first event where I have no interest in any character, building, or decoration. They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for content.
As for new land, I don’t think you’re ever going to see it. More land only leads to more opportunity for people who do XP farming (I see “friends” with huge fields of Jet Engine Bikes, etc.), and that leads to more daily donuts, and ultimately, that’s less revenue for EA.
While more land is fine, I don’t think we’re meant to build every building that would be madness as the game is never ending. Better to replace buildings and keep out what you use and love.
Some people love it all and need to complete things. I’ll probably never spend any (more!) money on this game…I’ve spent my share..someone else’s share, ..and Sandra’s share on the game…I love it! The only thing I would spend money on now..is land. EA…offer land for cash….1-877-cash for land! I understand people might hate that…that’s ok…I hate a lot of things too…but I’m working on lowering that list..is yours growing? We don’t have much time left
I still have loads of land as I’m only been playing since January, but I’m quite happy to just delete and things I don’t like or need. I don’t think EA intend you should have every item on the map at once. Its just a pity all events are identical, Overall I like the prize list, especially the decorations, pity no mystery token can be earned.
Thank you guys for the spoiler video. As mentioned a couple of times, and regarding the chameleons, if “they want us to build a desert”…then please give us more land. In the information you normally get from EA, would you know if they were going to provide more land? Or could the sand tiles actually be sand squares, like the size of a new land lot? Just curious if you guys are made aware of when new land is provided? Anywho…thanks for the info…looking forward to try and place the new buildings..in a “new desert” area…with no available land…
I’m looking forward to this! I have a big Eastern desert area already so replacing the “dirt” tiles with dedicated sand tiles, cacti, and desert trees will be great. I would like more land to be sure but I like the creative design challenges for my Springfield.
