It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Since sunset, I’ve been buying thousands of donuts and digging through all the taps to find Premium characters with quest lines, as well as buying, placing and arranging loads of buildings.
It’s getting close to the time where I was planning to take a photo of my Springfield to remember the game by. But this morning, I tried to take a photo and the process errored out.
Found a workaround: in iOS, you can make a screen recording via control Center, and I confirmed it does capture our game. Still fiddling around with settings to capture horizontal video and thinking about my final recorded path through Springfield.
Thanks to all the admins here for countless hours, and I’m sure we will virtually meet again in TSTO-TNG whenever and whatever it may be.
Well, after close to a month I’m finally back in the game.
It downloaded 3 GB of updates and then I had to log back in. But I’m back!
Only 36 playing days before @#$&.
And I’m still hoping for a Christmas gift.
I wish I had more runway, so my fleet of aircraft could safely take off.

I can only access Taps Pt. 5. I can’t access Taps Pts. 1 – 4. Any suggestions?
Taps Pt. 5 is the only one left at this point. The others have timed out.
Noooooo! I thought they’d be around until the end! Damn!!!! I’ve been out of town taking care of my mom full time and I never got what I wanted from them. 😔😔😔 I was going to catch up on my TSTO stuff and finish my town when I got home at the end of the month. 😔😔
They are still there.. go to the saw and hammer and open the store… once there tap on the yellow arrow next to the house to expand the store.. there you will see parts 1 to 5
Thank you! I hadn’t actually gone to check, myself, or I probably would have found them. I just believed the OP’s comment and I should have known better than that. Thanks for taking the time to let me know..one less minor stressor for me to have during an already supremely stressful time.
I am taking care of my mom out of town also. I haven’t had the heart to login after I saw the post its all ending. Hope all is well ❤
Sorry to hear that. I’m hoping to finally head home a week from Friday, after not being home home (or seeing my husband) for four months! I’ve still been playing very occasionally and still would like to do some more stuff in the game (finish getting any missing characters/skins that have questlines, do a bit more town building, taking a final capture, etc.), before the game disappears.

Old people are a pain.
All that worry. Sort of teaches us what they went through when we were teenagers.
A few weeks ago we returned from across country visiting my wife’s mother.
Not really the same thing….I wasn’t the kind of teenager my parents had to “worry” about. (I didn’t get drunk or do drugs and I had the same boyfriend for over three years, plus one more quai-relationship with another guy during my senior year in high school. I also wasn’t into dressing salaciously, not was I interested in tattoos or piercings, and I was basically a straight A student.) Probably the worst part for my mom when I was a teenager was the way I treated her for a couple of years, in terms of always acting like she was super annoying and a pain in my ass and such. But I was also not home a lot…I spent most of my time at my friend’s homes or out and about with them doing stuff.
Go into your game. Tap on the saw and hammer icon. You are now in the Store. Tap on the arrow to your left next to the the house.. This will expand the selections.. There you will see parts 1 to 5.
I completed all the quest lines and met all my personal goals in the game. This morning I un-installed. Farewell TSTO. And thanks to all who worked so hard on this site, it was a great source of reliable information for a long time! Wishing you all well.
Thanks to everyone here at Addicts who took care of us all these years. I miss Bunnie & Wookie & Pat, though I appreciate all the new posters and everyone’s endless devotion to TSTO. I’ll miss running to your site for all the new content rundowns! And most of all, I’ll miss my neighbors and the community. I gathered so many ideas from MelDesigner and too many others to name. Good luck to all, including Safi, Graham, and of course, Alyssa.
