It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

If I nuke my town does it store all my things?
Yes, everything (except a couple items like the Simpsons house or Squirport entrance or Ornate pier entrance) will go to your inventory.
Please help! Has anyone found a good site to make a puzzle out of your town. A few sites I’ve tried, the pic I’ve downloaded its too blurry no details of my town.
I’m just wondering about the fate of this page after our beloved game ends.
It’s nice cruising through my friends’ towns, trying to get some last four-peats (“El Quattros”) on as many as I can, while being El Quattro’d in return.
It’s always been a bit sad we couldn’t talk to anyone directly in the game, although I understand what a can of worms allowing that could have opened.
Doing the visits is pretty much the only way to remind our in-game friends that we’re still thinking of them. I’ll miss them when it’s all over, which is funny, considering all I know of them is their screen names!!!
WilsonCPU? If so, you are such a faithful visitor! 💜 Sorry I’m not returning the favor (honestly, I’ve done very little of anything the past four months, as I ended up unexpectedly 200 miles from home caring for my mom, who was in the hospital and then rehab….didn’t even see my husband for four months!), but I’ll try to stop by once or twice before the game ends!
Oops, I guess I should’ve said. Yep, WilsonCPU. And don’t worry about “returning the favor”. I’ve done the care-giving thing (my first wife had MS), so I’m aware of how time-consuming that can be. Frankly, I’m glad you take that little time for yourself to play this silly game!
Can anyone direct me to how to get to the screen with the Taps 1-5 events? I came across it once and now can’t retrace my steps to find it again….
Go to the store and tap on yellow arrow next to picture of the Simpson’s house.
Seems all my friends have all been deleted, hoping it’s just a glitch but I guess it doesn’t matter anymore
Deleted where? If you mean when you click on the “Friends” icon (lower right) they’re not listed, that happens all the time. They’re not deleted, just close the game completely and re-open it. I get that every few days. Freaked me out the first time, for sure!
Missing 6 characters/skins. Any tips?

The game is NOT over until the 24th! I’m still enjoying getting any missing skins/characters and doing their questlines and still plan to do a little more town building before taking my final screen captures. Stop being such a buzzkill – if you don’t want to answer that person’s question, fine…just don’t answer. No need to chide those who want to keep playing until the actual end!
If you’ve already identified the ones you’re missing (using the Character Collections), then look through the different Taps collections to see if they’re there. I think almost everything should be available, except for Mirror Ball Disco Stu (or whatever that character/skin is called that everyone has been complaining is missing).
I took a town portrait then nuked the town. Now I am having fun just trying to do the daily tasks. Ya snow would have been nice. Do miss it!
Are you making a puzzle. My pic is super blurry can’t view any details. Any suggestions
The game has stopped giving me the correct amount of money or donuts. I haven’t tried to report it. Anyone else having this issue?
Can’t believe I’m saying it but I miss the snow too. Any possibility of TSTO surviving or being resurrected better in 2025? I keep hoping.

Guess we’re heading into the home stretch. I’ve got most of my characters on Christmas tasks and will continue with that for at least another week. I prefer to play on Kindle and was surprised when my brand new tablet began having trouble accessing the server earlier this week. I was able to access it on my old tablet but I’m a little worried that I won’t be able to access the game for the final weeks.
I was going to try for a town portrait but with everything that was going on with my game this week I think I’ll just content myself with lots and lots of screenshots of every corner of my town. Going forward I think I’ll put my characters on tasks from some of my favorite events, so Superheroes and Stonecutters are going to be populating my town in the final days.
Yes it would have been nice to have had snow leading up to Christmas and the New Year.
Sure missed snow in game.
