Thank You soooo much Patric for this, spending my final hours screenshotting and making videos of my favorite character tasks and animations. Making the end a little easier that I can still see the town I spent over a decade building. <3
Struggling to find the super helpful list of flying tasks so I can send em all on those and document for posterity. Can you direct me the right way? Thanks!
Did you try the search option on the menu bar, all the way to the right? I’m seem to remember that there was an article about this at some point not super long ago…

Thank you Alissa, Safi, Patric and Graham for all of the wonderful advice, tips, tricks and videos over the years! I’ve been playing since 2011 or 12 and I’m genuinely sad that the game is ending on the 24th. I think it’s sad that we got all of the new land and then the notification the game was ending. All of the quests and nothing to buy with the donuts we’ve earned. Goodbye Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. I ( we) will miss you.

I missing those two, too, and there’s no way to get them, sadly.
So disappointed…I had planned to use BlueStacks to take some final pictures, figuring that I’d get more in a single screen capture on my laptop than would fit on my iPad screen. I stupidly spent the time and effort to update the BIOS to enable virtualization on my newer laptop and then install BlueStacks, only to realize that of course I couldn’t put TSTO on it, because it’s no longer in the app store! 🤦♀️
So then I fired up my really old laptop (because I knew I had used BlueStacks to play TSTO on it many years ago), but, when it tried to load, it was showing the splash screen for the superhero comics event and it couldn’t find the server. (I’m thinking that they changed the server location at some point, fixing the pointer with an update, but there was no way for it to update at this point.) So, I’m SOL as far as the BlueStacks plan is concerned. 😔
I did capture a 32(!)-minute video of my town (3.2gb) on my iPad, as well as two short monorail tour videos. I also did a town portrait, sand may do a second one with the characters included. I would have liked to have had my town captured in knitted-together high-res screen captures, but I don’t have the time (and maybe not the space, either) or the energy to do that project in the brief time that’s left. Fortunately, I do have some captures of various areas that I’ve submitted for show-offs over the years, though, so maybe I’ll just focus on doing my most favorite of the most recent areas…
Still haven’t posted my thoughts and feelings about the end of the game….I might just wait until it’s over to do that, at this point.
Ahhhh the anxiety of the end being near. I’ve been playing since nearly the beginning and I want to thank everyone on this site for all the tips and excitement over the years. I’ve never been so attached to a game. I’m truly devastated and hope to one day have another love for a game such as this. A little escape. My people and a town I created and visit daily. Cheers to everyone. May we find another game to come together on! 🥂

I’ve saved up three final simple daily tasks that I can easily and quickly complete on the last day – a weather report, a bet at Springfield Downs, and some free throws. I’ll be set to complete tasks and let my happy Springfielders roam forever without any unfinished tasks or worries.

I’m going to store everything tomorrow. I have never blown up my town. Since the beginning I have tried to stuff everything into the space provided. And I worked for the most part.
I’m going to leave a final farewell message in flowers across the land. Until we meet in the next game my friends.
I have taken Simpsons Tapped out off . I could not do anything with it anymore so my plans to give my 500 plus people the longest job I could find will not happen. I am also sad that I had gotten to level 496 and hoped to get to level 500 .

Oh, sadness! Wish they gave us a year to build in the final giant section of land they just gave us. Sigh…putting the final touches on everything and deciding what the final jobs will be for everyone.
