Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time of the month again, time for the Addicts Monthly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all month long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. You’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So, here is your Open Thread…..
Not much you may have missed this month around the Addicts Site. Oh, except:
and
So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, end of the game, or anything else you can think of! (Just no politics, it never ends well) Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!
Have Fun! And happy February (we’ll be back first Sunday of March)!
Without the game everything else seems pointless
Who’s still here? I have good news!! I am back in my town and tapping! I have confirmed the process to restore the game works. I’ve tested for Android and Apple. Google “tapped out reborn” To find the resources necessary on Discord, GitHub, and YT. I have written a summary of the process but it’s 5000 words so idk if it’ll post here; I’ll try in a sec. But yes, i am tapping again, with my mobile device communicating to my own PC via wifi. I will try to help whomever i can to get you back in your game too. It feels like a dream.
How long did it take you? Are we able to start a new town? Are you able to play events?
That’s so cool. Thanks for the email. I appreciate it! I don’t have a PC so I’ll wait and see if they develop something for a Mac to host.
Maybe put it up as a pdf on Google Docs or something and share a link to it? Not sure whether I want to go through all of that to get back into my town, but maybe. How do things work like the store, without the real server?
Please more info!
In the scenario where a person is on the older side and admittedly technologically challenged how does one go about joining your server? Any explanation in layman’s terms would be helpful.
I noticed the comments were at 99…so I thought I’d make it 100…I think a Bobs Burgers version of this game would be cool…plus i was reminded of a long time ago favorite…99 Red balloons…I wonder if that song was written by The Simpsons…like Winds of Change, by…supposedly Scorpions was to help facilitate the falling of the wall. The Simpsons may have written that Huge Ballad to facilitate the knocking down of that wall. Oh….what a wonderful world….
What are the steps to do this? Is it legal regarding copyright? Do the technical steps expose us to computer viruses and other threats to our technology?
TSTO wasn’t available on my HP Chromebook so I was playing on the now.gg website, and it no longer pulls up on their site so I’m not sure how I would be able to get back to my town. What steps would I take to try to get in it on my iPad?
Missing TSTO!
Still can’t believe that I played for so long or that it’s finally gone.
If anyone from EA is reading this then let us have it back as I for one would pay to get it back
