FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

Do you tap on the neighbour’s corn or is it just a Cecil reward thing? Granted a bonus reward is great but someone vaguely mentioned donuts.

Today is the first day mine has matched up perfectly. I’m surprised.
HELP…. I had trouble logging in ..would not accept my password, so I changed it… and got in…at level 15 with only one friend… I had completed nearly everything including getting that red-headed thingy… Please what do I do.. It is starting me over with Bart’s tree house!!!!

It was suggested that I delete and reload my game… that is my next option.. If it works, will be reading all your post again.. if not.. sure am not starting over from scratch.. I had a friend check and she said my world does not come up on her friends list…..SIGH I am doomed…………

Go there and then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where it says contact us. Follow the instructions and it’ll give you options for various support contacts.
i am so sorry I do not always express myself properly.. Yes the page was there.. I did not know where to go.. I get frustrated and do not stop to think.. The problem has been resolved..got my game back and will be here to pester you and others soon… thanks for putting up with an old lady

Don’t know if this has been posted but when you finish a daily task (before the camera goes to cecil) click on your friends icon and visit a friend with Cecil. Then go back to your town and you will find a happy lil glitch. I highly recommended it. 😉 Remember it only works if you visit before the camera pans to cecil so be quick.

My second attempt worked great, but the first time I tried this, I wasn’t really paying attention as I’d just woken up, and went to “Other Springfield” first, out of habit, then scooted over to another friend.
Nothing happened at Other springfield or the real neighbor, but upon returning to my town, the game crashed every time I tapped on Cecil or Mosanaro, and I received no payout from Cecil for completing the task when it did stop crashing.
Maybe it was a coincidence, but just forewarning all who want to try it::: DON’T visit a neighbor who doesn’t have Cecil in their town while trying the glitch if you’d like to avoid possibly crashing 8 times in a row and losing ur payout!
Would be nice to have some confirmation on it, but I’m done w/ tasks for today (on night shift I get most of me tasks done in the wee early morning hours)
Anyone else accidentally visit a Cecil-less neighbor while trying this?
Anyone have varying results?
Now on the final Cecil task of the day, all times matched those listed. Happy to have received my 3rd batch of bonus donuts today 🙂
Just realized the Space Mutant and Hugo can perform Monsarno tasks. Thought everyone should know (if they don’t already).

glad the space mutant can contribute, as he is my only character doing the 16 hour gluttons for corn task (useful when the random monsarno tasks require it).
Has anyone come across a glitch where certain event tasks are no longer highlighted? For example, the kids’ “Eat Too Much Candy Corn” task is highlighted, so it’s quick to cycle through everyone and select that task. But for me, the oldies’ “Don’t Care About the Future” is not highlighted, so I’m having trouble finding them as I cycle through all the characters. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know a fix?
Try hard closing and restarting TSTO..

I’ve read you offer the advice many times now in posts to “Try hard closing and restarting TOSO”.
Can you tell me what exactly that is?
If I have issues with my game and can’t fix it I try logging out and back in hoping to get it to work. If not I delete the app and bring it back from the cloud to start over. That’s usually how my updates for patches and such work, if not showing up on their own. Just wondering if what you say to do means the same thing as I do?

Hard closing is when you shutdown the app. Depending on your device, as each one is different. But usually it’s a double tap of the home button, or holding down the home button. Some combination of that. You just want to shut down the app itself..
Ah ha!! Your advice the thing I do all the time to not have so many apps running in the background at once to take up so much power. Didn’t realize that’s what you meant by hard close. Good to know I’m now on board and already actually using that method.

If you’re using Android the easiest way to close a particular app for good is to force stop it. Alternatively, you can simply clear your app cache which closes all running apps and processes.

I hard closed the app a few times, but that did not fix that glitch. Also tried restarting my phone, and uninstalling/re installing the game, and still no fix. 🙁

I did have a strange glitch. When I woke up this morning after 6 hours sleep there was only 1 mutant plant to tap before I got the ‘no more’ message. Makes it hard to collect resources for crafting.
I have missed one task so far this whole event and so far I am 2hrs, 2hrs today. I also started my first task before hitting the hay last night (around 12:30), so I wonder if that does have something to do with it as that was a (time length at least) repeat from the last task I had last night.
…waits (un) patiently for addicts to wake up…sets alarm…coooooeeeee!

all the first 3 correct. my last task was only 1 hour thank god. am in the Philippines. now 9pm here so would have been up a while for a 4 hour task.. all done.. time for bed soon
I’m not liking this new trend that all my neighbours have adopted by either removing there roads or a few have replaced the roads with car parks but it’s there game so if they want to make there town look ugly that’s up to them
Sometimes it’s just temporary to help them (and you) find veggies in their town faster
I have a couple neighbours with no road and wish they would add just a bit please next to the Monsarno to make it easier for me when visiting. You can always get rid of it again after the event : )
I’ve done it where I’ve replaced nearly all my roads with water for now. It doesn’t look how I want, but it makes finding plants and seedlings MUCH easier. As soon as the event is done my roads will go back.
I think this is so funny. When you finish tapping three corn mutant things when visiting a friends town, if you stay there and tap more they try to bite you. This cracks me up. The tall dark free ones try to bite you and the short lighter green ones act like they are sneezing! You have to tap them a couple of times but it’s fun to watch them.

It is just me or the payout for cecil task changed? Yesterday, i noticed that my 4th task paid only 150 spades (i didnt check for the corn). This morning, i see also that the first task pays also 150 Spades and 25 fertilizers.
It seems that the last update changed the spades payout of the task from 40-80-160-320 to 150-150-150-150. Can you confirm that it’s happening to you too? I’ve been using a trick to double the payout since yesterday (when cecil task is finish, i click on the thumbs, go right away on a neibhor’s city, receive the payout, go back to my city again and receive a second time the payout). So im wondering if the change of payout is related to the update or the trick i have been using since Yesterday. I’m not sur too if something changes for the corn and fertilizers. Can someone look at their game and tell me what you see..

It’s changed. Same payout overall, just more in the earlier stages. Probably designed to help players get spades who aren’t able to complete all the tasks each day
I just wanted to mention that my town didn’t have any mutant veggies this morning. I’m going to contact EA, but I think it’s helpful to know if others are experiencing the same thing.
Oh! and to mention that the last two days, I’ve had only tasks under 6 hours which was very appreciated. It never fails that the days I get 4-6-4-2 are days that I’m working and can’t check my phone as often as I need to clear the tasks. Seems like these mothers I care for could time their contractions better to only start pushing after I’ve cleared a task and started the next one!
Try hard closing your town before bed, that usually helps reset it.
Anyone else having problems with the spawning of vegetables in their town Since the update. I woke up after 30 1/2 hours to 1 vegetable and it saying that my town was cleared. I thought that happened earlier but wasn’t sure because I just got my mystery box.

4 and 2hrs tasks are done, nown on the 6hrs. My farmers market is ready in 12hrs and I’m close to my 3rd donut bonus round. So everything is going well 🙂

Sorry i know this is not the place but do you know what happens with the mystery box at the end of april does it roll over to its previous state or will there be new prizes aded or wathever.i have few doughnuts left and i was thinking on roling the dice in the hope of geting lard lad, what do you think should i try or what.Thanks

I don’t understand the purpose of these posts. Not once has my tasks matched up with the times posted on these.
Yours might not match up but the majority of players do.
Mine is a 2 hour task as well at 12:01. I also had a quick update today but didn`t see anything here about it. I am working on my second round of extra special super donut bonus, so I should have all the updates to date. I was hoping it would correct the character task selection dropping problem, but it didn`t. That is annoying and hope EA is working on it.
O.K… I now see “just a patch” a few times… LOL
I kind of took a day off from the game yesterday, so didn’t start Cecil’s jobs at midnight, for the first time all game.
And it hits me with a 16hr batch of tasks! (if mine are the same as yours, which they have been every day up to now)
Today is going to be mighty close!

Yeah, same as kimberlyah794, I have Brainiacs attempting atomic fission, which is my favorite because of the Super Collider, which is two hours. I’ll check and see if the next task is the 6 hour one that you have after the 2 hour task. In the later morning as it’s 2 over here.

Just a patch
I started my tasks at 12:10 or so, and my first task was 2 hours. I know someone else posted that they’d noticed if you start your first task between midnight and 3 a.m., the previous day’s tasks repeat. I’ll keep track of mine and if that holds true, I’ll report back.
Stayed up late watching American Graffiti. Awesome movie. 🙂

That hasn’t been true for me. Up to now I’ve started every day (bar 1, possibly 2) just after midnight and have matched Bunny exactly.
My first 2 tasks were 2 hours, started 2 after midnight.
The previous day’s final task only repeats if you don’t complete the final task within the time limit. In actuality, the previous task replaces what would’ve been the first task after reset and is already done. Which means you move on to the second task straight away… If you’re seeing something different, might be a glitch, but all the tasks repeat anyway, just in a different order each time..
On another note, I got to level 52 and it was quite ant-climatic 🙁
Wasn’t true for me. I started my first task a few minutes past midnight, and mine was 4 hours.
Wish I had done that…might have been able to do another 8-hour’s worth of tasks day, but there’s no way today’s 16-hour day is gonna get done. 🙁

Only my first task was different from Bunny’s, the rest were the same.
I’d seen American Graffiti a few times, but it’d been a while. Every time I watch it, I want to rush out and buy the soundtrack, even though I probably own most of the music on other albums. 🙂
Is anyone else having trouble getting onto their game? I keep trying to get on mine but it takes me back tot he video of homer blowing up springfield! I’ve turned my phone on and off but nothing has worked so far…I’m still logged in as myself as well!
