We just wrapped up the fun and exciting Monorail Event and EA, wanting to always keep us on our toes, has dropped another New Level into our games. Level 58 is here and Fat Tony has some competition… errr… help?
With the New Items comes some New Changes, so let’s go over some of them.
For the basics on Level 58 and the Rundown, see the post HERE.
WHY CAN’T I SEE THE NEW STUFF?
You have two things running in the game… XP Level and Game Play Levels. In order to move on to the New Content BOTH need to be in the same Level.
XP Level: This is at the bottom Left of your screen. This is ONLY the XP Counter. It will need to say Level 58 in order to see the New Content.
Game Play Level: This is essentially the Walkthroughs. The Dialog you MUST complete with each Level to move on to the next. In other words, you will NOT be able to see Level 58 if you have not completed all the required prior Level Content before.
So make sure you completed Level 53, 54, 55, 56, and 57 Walkthroughs in order to see Level 58. Level 57 Walkthrough is HERE.
You can use our Walkthrough Page for each of the Levels to see where YOU are at in Game Play and find out what you need to complete to move forward.
Now to the Random Changes….
First off, with another new level comes more new pricing. This means the top 8 Levels of the game have a mark up on the Buildings Costs as they are the “Newest” Levels. As you can see the top 2 and bottom 2 are the same, so you will not notice any changes for 2 Levels on these items.
Here is the Multiplier Tier Breakdown.
Level 58: 4X Cost
Level 57: 4X Cost
Level 56: 3X Cost
Level 55: 2X Cost
Level 54: 1.6X Cost
Level 53: 1.4X Cost
Level 52: 1.3X Cost
Level 51: 1.3X Cost
(Level 50-1: No Multiplier)
So as New Levels come out, prices for previous Level Main Buildings go down. Let’s take a look at those prices.
NEW BUILDING PRICES
Remember…the BASE price is indicated in Red. The current price is in black. Don’t confuse the base price (in red) with the current price (in black). Base Price is the lowest possible cost you will pay for the Building… IF you wait until several more Levels are released and it moves down the Multiplier Tiers until there is no more Multiplier.
Current Price is what it will cost you RIGHT NOW in the game.

These are things that are still ongoing in the game and have been a while now.
- Akira Bonsai Planting not working (this one I don’t think even EA can figure out)

- Money over Buildings Disappearing
- Rail Yard not paying out Rails

MONORAIL CHANGES
Rail Yard: 400 Donuts. For those of you that did NOT win the Rail Yard, you will have to check your game for the Option to Purchase it. The test game I had that I was in Act 3 content when the Monorail Event Ended. It is there similar to the Money Pool and Polo Field House for a Limited Time Premium Buy.
OFFER EXPIRES 9/22
For everyone else, the Rail Yard is still FULLY active if you won it during Act 3 of the Monorail. That means that you will still be able to collect Glass, Metal, Trash, and Plastic (depending what Depots you unlocked during the Event) to go towards what will now be a weekly goal to get MORE Rails and +5 Donuts. (For issues, see section on issues above.)
Springfield City Dump: Still earns Garbage/Trash for the Rail Yard Blueprints
Metal Depot: Still earns Metal for the Rail Yard Blueprints if you unlocked it.
Glass Depot: Still earns Glass for the Rail Yard Blueprints if you unlocked it.
Plastic Depot: Still earns Glass for the Rail Yard Blueprints if you unlocked it.
Project Board: Since it is no longer needed, it actually works pretty well now as a “Transporter” to your Rail Yard if you won it. Place it anywhere in your town and tap on it. The Pop Up will appear telling you how the Rail Yard now controls the Blueprints, tap on the Pop Up and you will be transported to the Rail Yard no matter where it is in your town. So if you want a “Transporter” in your game, this works great.
Possums: The Monorail Event is gone, so of course anything to do with the Event Currency… like Possums… are gone.
Uriah’s Heap: Earns $90 & 10XP every 4hrs
Springfield Central Monorail Station: Earns $150 & 13xp every 8hrs
Mall-O-Rail Station: Earns $150 & 13xp every 8hrs
Tetanus Terminal: Earns $150 & 13xp every 8hrs
Krusty’s Drive-Thru Station: Earns $150 & 13xp every 8hrs
Little Lisa’s Recycling Plant: Earns $90 & 10XP every 4hrs
TRADE DONUTS FOR IN GAME CASH
This was introduced a few Levels back, but I will continue updating it for the newest Levels. These are the options as of Level 58.
First it’s important to note that the higher the level you are the more cash you’ll get for your donuts.
– $13,7500 will cost you 9 Donuts
– $68,750 will cost you 30 Donuts
– $165,000 will cost you 65 Donuts
-$275,000 will cost you 100 donuts
– $810,000 will cost you 285 Donuts
– $1,650,000 will cost you 550 Donuts
$3,300,000 will cost you 1,000 Donuts
$5,500,000 will cost you 1600 Donuts
Again this will vary depending on your level. The above numbers reflect it if you’re on Level 58. As you increase your level over level 9 you’ll start to increase the payout for each one. We won’t go into too much detail with this because we honestly do not encourage you to do this in your games. IT IS A WASTE! Do not spend donuts for in game cash…it’s just not worth it (at any level).
Now for that one thing we will continually keep reminding you to check 😉
CONFIRM DONUT SPEND
And of course, your constant reminder (as we ALWAYS get comments on this)…check that Confirm Donut Spend. NO ONE wants to lose donuts on accidental sped up tasks or purchases. The new menu, you will find this in any menu by tapping the cog wheel in the top right corner. (You can also reset your sound from here.)

Also, watch out for when you tap on ANYTHING that requires Donuts. You will get a message asking you “Are You Sure” if you want to spend those Donuts along with the option at the bottom to “DO NOT WARN ME”.
If you check this off, you not only turn off the Pop Ups from appearing, but also the CONFIRM DONUT SPEND TO OFF!! So beware. It is right under Cancel and can be easily tapped. DO NOT CHECK IT OFF!!

Hi, I have 56193 rail parts and should receive 5 mystery track pieces after collecting 5000 but it just keeps adding collected parts and not giving me rail pieces, bit of a bummer as I really just want the donuts on the next stage

I’m having the problem with the Rail Yard not paying out. If you go to Krustyland, for some reason you finally get the payout! Worked for me, at least?

I haven’t finished the Level 57 walkthru, yet the first quest for Level 58 has already popped up. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven’t read other comments yet, BTW.
Some you don’t have to get all the way to the end. Trigger points vary by level.

Because… just like you just did… people tend to focus on insignificant items like my Donuts or task list count or Friend Request. Kinda discounts all the time and hard work that went into the post and all the helpful stats I pulled/compiled/tested, don’t you think?

Well…… I saw an image from someone’s Blog and they had more than 235,000 donuts. I had to physically count the number of digits to confirm what I was seeing . Then I did the math….
$100 yields something like 2,000 donuts, so
$1,000 yields 20,000 donuts, so
$10,000 yields 200,000 donuts.
So tell us, Bunny, do YOU have 200,000 donuts? Hmmm? We all know that Suppliers of Addicts have a very lucrative income. 😂😂

I got round 4000 (main test game) in one game. 163 in another Freemium. 693 in another freemium w/premium rarely (main game) And like small amounts round 50 or less in test games all Freemium
Best time to load up is Christmas. ITunes gift cards on sale $100 for $75 at Costco. Add in TSTO sale with like 30% extra donuts. You’re money can go really really far and last a long time. 5000 Donuts easily for round $150.

They do even offer some Wensleydale Cheese here in the states. It is limited though. Not much variety.
Let’s see… Chicken Run, Were-Rabbit, Flushed Away was meh to me… except the slugs “EEEEeeeeeeeeee”, Arthur Christmas I keep getting distracted and haven’t seen all of it, and he did a TV series of animations of animals voiced by actual people and it was hilarious…Creature Comforts? Funny you mention were-rabbit, there’s a place near me called Portland, where it’s considered very unlucky to say rabbit, (something to do with mining cave-ins) so when the ads were on bill boards, they printed special ones for Portland calling it “Curse of the Were-Bunny” 🐰

If someone gets it but hasn’t unlocked the glass depot, do you know if projects will require glass or is it disabled so only trash, plastic and metal will be required for projects?

If you don’t have the Depot, the Rail Yard won’t trigger the item that comes with it. It essentially doesn’t exist in the game. Similar to if you do not have a Character or Building, items and tasks for it will not trigger as they don’t exist in the game.

Did EA really just make it easier than before to mistakenly spend donuts? Shame on you. Or were you just pandering to all those tappers flooding your emails with requests for this? Please please make spending donuts by accident easier, it’s too hard having to wait for an update to revert our switches for us!
This has ALWAYS been around. I am just covering the 1000s of comments/complaints we get every single update to the game of Players not able to figure out how they turned it off again. So… helpful information… you know… what we do here. 😉
My Akira problem’s been fixed for a little while now…is anyone still having problems with that at this point? Just curious…
For me he has two options (I forget which two) but neither brings up the third or a bonsai so not working for me. But I’ve got a dozen plus placed in town and another couple dozen in inventory so not a big deal. Still would be nice to have it fixed for the future.
Mine got fixed when they released the patch to correct the Brandine not giving birth issue.
Updated once at end of monorail. Just had a forced store update (Kindle) – just a glitch/patch I guess?
Is anyone still getting donut payouts from the sideshow you game in krustyland? I play it everyday and I feel like it’s been several months since I won donuts.
Every 300th Pop you are guaranteed 5 Donuts. Otherwise it is random.
I’ve been playing it 2-3 times per day myself, and was thinking they disabled it also. Been about 3-4 months since I had a payout donut wise from Sideshow You
Well 3 Pops a Day x 30 Days x 3 Months = 270 pops. So it will take roughly 4 months if NONE show up inbetween and reset it to 1 again, that is right time frame.

Your math has confused me… If that person is visiting two or three times a day, then isn’t that 6 or 9 pops a day? So, taking the more conservative estimate of two visits per day (which is what I generally do), then it should be 300 pops needed, divided by 6 pops per day, would mean it should only take 50 days (a little less than 2 months) to hit the 300th pop.
Or have I am this time misunderstood and it’s 300 *visits* to Sideshow You that’s required (where a visit requires completing the popping of all three balloons)? In that case, your math would make sense.
I did simple math. Don’t overthink it. 😉
Huh? I don’t think I was overthinking anything – there’s a big difference between waiting 2 months and waiting 4 months to figure out whether Sideshow You is “broken” or just not due to pay out yet. I wouldn’t have mentioned it if it were a small difference (like the fact that not all months have 30 days, or something quibble-y like that), but this seemed big enough for me to want to know which way Sideshow You is supposed to work.
I’m sorry if I phrased my response in such a way as to make you feel defensive – I think you know by now how much I value you and appreciate what you do here! I just wanted to make sure that I had a correct understanding of what I (and others) should expect from Sideshow You, since people bring it up fairly regularly and I’m often someone who tries to help others understand it. (Plus, I want to understand it for my own benefit, so I can judge how worthwhile it is to continue to make sure to visit Krustyland at least twice a day.)
Darlin, I think you are reading WAY too much into a simple comment. I was only letting you know not to overthink it too much. I was just offering a simple equation on what he was saying. Nothing more. It won’t apply to every player as everyone plays separate. So all I was offering is my Math based on 3 pops and it was just a simplistic equation and nothing more. 😉

Thanks for confirming you can still get them and thanks for the math, Bunny. For a sec, I was thinking that all these monorail tracks were making me lose my mind.
If you can’t place monorail on the road how do you turn corners?
I have mine aligned so they are technically on the sidewalk, so not quite on the road, not quite on the grass/pavement. As for turning corners, do it on grass/pavement, just my guess.
My country club is set to build, but there is only a brown square and no visible countdown. I can see its progression by clicking on it, but not just by looking.
I just noticed the same. Plus I keep getting logged out and have to log back in. Getting really annoying.
There is an exception to the rule about level progression. Due to the level 57 glitch, some of us (like me) are actually working on two levels at the same time. I’m replaying level 57, and also working on the level 58 quest line at the same time.
When is the IRS Drone coming? It must be soon as its in the Animals and Pets category on the characters list.
Anyone noticed the IRS drone in pets character set??

I’ve found that some things, like the metal and trash will not come up with a completion notification on the top left of the screen the way they used to. I still get them for plastic and all the SH stuff…. Is this just me?
I think it may be due to many that did NOT get the Rail yard would be annoyed by it. That and you have SH stuff already overpowering it.
I only restarted playing after several months break at the end of monorail event so no Rail yard 🙁
The recyclables/trash & glass tasks are still up in my LHS corner and yep quite annoying. I’m thinking of maxing it out when we’re not in an event so they disappear
I noticed the same, just for metal and trash. I kept waiting for the pop up for trash to take me across town when I was in SH after clearing those, but I realized furiture had cycled through a couple times.
Krusty’s Drive-Thru Station” should pay premium…. it pays exactly the same of other stations….

Do you think the tennis issue is an accident and will change at some point, or is it working the way it’s supposed to? I just want to know if I should make as many as I can as quickly as possible or if it’s permanent, then I can slow down on them a little. Thanx and have fun.

As we state multiple times all over… just because it is in the files does not mean it will come to be in the game. EA can, has, and will change things all the time before they go live. If it is not in the game and active, we do not post on it.
So just stay tuned to the site. When/If something new hits or goes live, we will give you a full run down post on it… just like we did yesterday. 😉

Intentional. Test games I do not play much, leave items open intentionally. It helps us help you a LOT more when we can see multiple perspectives in the game. Helps us understand more what Players on different levels are experiencing and see changes that may be seen by newer players that ones already done won’t. 😉

It would have been nice if the krusty station earned more money (premium item remember) but it’s only a small thing.
I just hope those problems are all fixed asap.

One minor thing: While a building is being constructed, I can longer see how much time is left until completion unless I tap on it.
