Where Did THAT Come From – Dancing Reindeer

Just hear those sleigh bells ring-a-ling, jing jing jing-a-ling too… Yes Addicts it’s lovely weather for an origin together with you!

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

Woo hoo! It’s holiday time in TSTO and with the first Act of goodness comes all sorts of different items.  I took my first look at everything and smiled big. Snowmen, merrymakers, holiday facades… so cool.  I could probably gush and gush about everything but that’s not what I’m supposed to be doing… it’s time again for me to dip into my noggin of Simpsons info and write about specific stuff.  For this post I will be going over the third prize that came with Act I of the 2015 TSTO Holiday Event… the Dancing Reindeer.  But what does this NPC  earned for 11,300 Santa Hats have to do with the Best. Show. Ever.? What the heck could one of the jolly old fat man’s reindeer with a little too much egg nog on board have to do with The Simpsons? Well.. let’s take a look at the TV Series to find out.

“I Won’t Be Home for Christmas” (S26:E9)

Homer stays with Moe on Christmas Eve to cheer him up and as a result ticks off Marge so badly she tells him not to be there for Christmas. Pretty sad stuff and you’re welcome to read the recap of the whole episode here. Not a totally sad affair as Marge realizes Homer for once wasn’t completely being an alcoholic neglect of a husband. It was Moe’s fault and the family is off to find Homie. Suffice to say Homer is a sad sack and ends up at the empty Towne Centre at Springfielde Glenne. Lots of people are alone on Christmas.

Christmas Eve Movie Simpsons

Homer ends up making lots of people happy on Christmas except himself. The Nutcracker security guard finds it in his wooden heart to not run off Homer from the closed mall and invites him to a party with people dressed up as food… complete with one Dancing Reindeer.

Before you get sad… Marge finds Homer at the party and they make up. She realizes sometimes there’s an explanation or a funny story for his disappointments. We see all the party goers during their sweet reunion at the end of the epeisode including the reindeer.

And that’s it… a new NPC from a quick blip in a new Christmas episode. What do you think of the prize? Did you know where it came from? Sound off in the comments and happy holidays from the fuzzball! I think of this season as Happy Life Day. I know one or two of you will get that reference.

TTFN… Wookiee out!

  1. Very few things I remember from that episode but the dancing reindeer as soon as I saw it I said to myself “That should be a NPC” and also there was a scene either a little before or a little after where there was a painting glitch, where the Grumples head was Yellow.

Raphael (Sarcastic guy) is someone I’ve been ranting on (besides Maggie), Come On EA don’t forget this guy.

The Homeless Man and his dog appeared in a few episodes but I need Raphael.

Well when Wookie comes down from his Star Wars High, it be nice to message him. (I heard that Conan O’Brian coaxed JJ to use the word “JubJub” somewhere in the film) 🙂

  2. Anyone else notice the bear from “The Call of the Simpsons”? I think that would make a nice pet. I’ll speculate that it probably has something to do with Maggie’s quest line.

  3. I want the Grumple, I just saw him next to the Dancing Reindeer (in the scene where where Homer in the makes up with the family). I know they previously had him, but I wasn’t on back then.
