Where Did THAT Come From – Wilted Rose

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

Howdy and Yeehaw Cowboy and Cowgirleenos! How in tarnation are y’all doing? Liking the 2016 TSTO Wild West Event? It’s Act One in the darn-tootin’ new event and with every new imagining by the designer comes new items. This of course means the wild gang here at Addicts get’s to dive into the Best. Show. Ever. and find them like the outlaws they are. For this post, I checked out the wanted posters and decided to ride down the origin for the Wilted Rose, a premium building offered for 60 donuts. But why did it show up in our games? What happened that brought it into Springfield? How does it apply to the Wild West? Let’s check out the Simpsons TV Series to find out.

“Yellow Subterfuge” (S25:E7)

Sometimes EA decides to throw us a premium item from a quick blip in an episode and this one is no exception. For a complete episode recap with lots of pictures by yours truly, click here. The end of this episode is where you’ll find the Wilted Rose. It’s that little scene tagged onto the end of an episode that has become par for the course in newer episodes. Around the 19 minute and eight second mark, Principal Skinner, dressed as Dick Fiddler, rides his beat-down horse into a Wild West town.

He rides right into a brothel we recognize as the Wilted Rose where every lady appears to be his mother Agnes. I agree with the song playing in the background. “This dream is getting weird.”

So there you go. The appearance of this premium item, how it pertains to the Wild West theme, and also why Agnes Skinner has a 4 hr task to dance like a Wild West whore outside of it. What do you think of the brothel? Did you buy it? Sound off in the comments. I’m off to ctahc a varmint or two. Here Bunny, Bunny, Bunny….

  1. 10 months later, and I still love Agnes’ ‘twerk her hip out of place’ tast in front of the Wilted Rose; it’s completely replaced ‘sweep up the town’ as my visual task of choice for her!

I rarely spend donuts on just buildings & I’m still not sure why I did in this instance, but I’m wicked pleased that I did!

If it ever comes back & you like 4hr visual tasks, pick it up! 😁

  2. I really <3 this Brothel Building
60 Donuts is a fair price
A shame it leaves the Shoppe soon
EA should keep it available for the entire month
(I'll have enough Donuts by then) 😉

  3. Off topic I know, but I just noticed shirtless Flanders has lost his “trim the hedge “task. He only has 8-12-24 hour tasks. Anyone else have this?

  4. “It’s that little scene tagged onto the end of an episode that has become par for the course in newer episodes.”

Could someone elaborate on this? I haven’t watched any new episodes in about the last decade.

  5. Sorry, meant Feed & Seed. Got it backwards….

  6. Haha. Dick Fiddler. That’s terrible. But not as bad as Sneed’s Seed & Feed (formerly Chuck’s). Hoping we get that sometime. It’s kinda wild and/or west-ish.

  7. I found this item to be fun! It may not contribute much to the Wild West storyline beyond more buildings for the early Springfield, but the freaked out Skinner and freewheeling Agnes are cool. 🙂

  8. Hahaha….funny. I’d forgotten about that 😃 I need to watch that episode again! Thanks Wookiee!

Good luck catching that varmin Bunny!

  9. I need HELP. I finished everything, saw the movie & now get donuts for ever 1500 but now since Wes Doobner character showed up the count 4 my free donuts is gone. I paid 200 donuts 2 double my bandits & can’t win any donuts because my counter is gone. Anything you know that will help I appreciate or I just wasted my 200 donuts on double bandits !!! 😢 happy tapping 2 all !!!!
