Well, in a surprise move…EA has released Superheroes 2 to our App Stores! (a day earlier than most of us thought…)
Back with more as I go through it…for now know that Fallout Boy starts it. If you don’t have Fallout Boy he’ll be awarded to you for free 😉

This will launch the event hub and items in the store….

(So last night, because I was exhausted, I didn’t finish out the questline…which means I didn’t unlock social battle prizes. I’ve covered their details below)
The best way for me to describe my initial impressions of this event is it’s a combination of Superheroes retreads (Criminals are back to tap) and Tap Ball. You’ll have battles, where your heroes will need to fight the enemy. Very similar to Tap Ball. And of course that’s the most efficient want to earn currency to unlock prizes.
I’ll break everything down in the rundown post, and then we’ll have (as always) more detailed posts explaining everything. But that’ll be later tonight, as I’ve got to get Miss Riley and get her ready for bed. So I’ll be back with more a little later this evening…
So so now I’ve had a chance to go through everything, I can finally break it all down for you guys. As mentioned above, this is pretty easy. It’s a combination of Superheroes and Tap Ball. If you were around for both, this should be a breeze for you. 🙂
Issue 1 Ends June 28th…when Issue 2 will start.
First up…the Prize Currency for Issue 1 is Brass Knuckles….
You can earn them via Battles at the Alley, upgrades at Burns’ Summer Mansion (more on that in a bit) and Tapping Criminals.

These are the various things you’ll earn throughout Issue 1
Brass Knuckles- Prize Currency for Issue 1
Trading Card- Crafting Currency for Issue 1
Gems- Used to upgrade Heroes for Battle.
Band-Aid- Used to heal Heroes after a Battle.
Sciencewater- Used to instantly heal Heroes during a Battle.
The first building you’ll come across is..
Orphan Alley- Free. 6s Build. 14×13. This is the hub for your battles. We’ll break battles down in another post, but the basics are you send your heroes to battle the Felons at the Alley. 
Winning battles will help you earn more 
and crafting currency. 
Criminals…Yes they’re back! Tap these guys to earn more Trading Cards (crafting currency), Brass Knuckles & Sciencewater. Criminals will earn you 2 
and 3 
. And the occasional 
(Sciecnewater is used to recharge your heroes during battle)
30 max in town, with a bank of 30.
You’ll also be able to tap 3 in a neighbor’s town for the same payouts. You’ll be able to do it once you unlock neighbor actions. (Questline will guide you)

Superhero Bonus. Every 10,000 you’ll have a chance for donuts. You can earn 1, 2 or 3 Donuts. Just like the Where’s Maggie Game or other games.

There may be items I’m missing since I have everything from the last Superheroes.
Burns’ Summer Mansion- Free. 12×15, 6s Build. Upgrade the Mansion (Unlocked during the questline) to increase the Tap Radius for Criminal Tapping and to earn more Brass Knuckles.
I”ll break the Mansion down in another post, but here’s a look at the tasks that can be done there (and who can do them):

Again, the Blueprints are used to upgrade the Mansion. And Mansion Upgrades increase the Tap Radius for tapping Criminals, as well as unlock new facades for the Mansion.
Crafting
Crafting is back for Superheroes 2! And yes…before you even ask, I will be doing a full crafting guide breakdown.
Here’s a quick look at what you can craft:
Small Band-Aid Box- 100 (Contains 5 Band-Aids)
Large Band-Aid Box- 210 (Contains 10 Band-Aids)
First Aid Kit- 420 (Contains 20 Band-Aids)
Springfield Books- 2,410.
The Collector Lucite Statue- 785
The Collector’s Car- 965
Lucite Container- 325
Now pay close attention…these crafting items will LEAVE once Issue 1 ends. It specifically says in the crafting Box “Hurry Up! These items will be swapped for new ones in:
Social Battle Prizes
After you’ve completed a few battles in your own Springfield, you’ll unlock the ability to do Social Battles.
You battle your neighbors just like you do battles in your own Springfield…only this time you’re the bad guy.
You can do 3 Social battles/day…and no more than that.
Social Battles, as mentioned in the guide, will earn you prizes. Some cool things exclusive to the Social Battle prize track. Here’s a look at what you can win:
Tungsten Dude- (Awarded after 10 Battles) Felon to use in neighbor battles.
Sciencewater Cooler- (Awarded after 20 Battles) Contains 9 Sciencewaters
Kiosk- (Awarded after 32 Battles
STEM-antha- (Awarded after 45 Battles) Felon to use in neighbor battles
Trading Card Box- (Awarded after 56 Battles) Contains 500 Trading Cards (used for crafting)
Gluteus- (Awarded after 68 Battles) Felon used in neighbor battles
Pie Man Epic Statue- (Awarded after 80 Battles)
First Aid Kit- (Awarded after 92 Battles) Contains 20 Band-Aids
Meg Ahertz- (Awarded after 105 Battles) Felon used in neighbor battles
One Week Wonder Films- (Awarded after 115 Battles) Earns $300,20xp/24hrs
Because you can only do 3 battles/day, social battle prizes are meant to be paced. And the pace will be SLOW. So don’t stress out about them..everyone is in the same boat. You won’t be able to unlock the first prize until 4 days into the event…so relax. Have fun and enjoy.
Update: A few of you are having trouble getting battles when visiting friends. To activate a battle, assuming the quest has popped for you, tap the fist in the top right corner of their town:
If you don’t see it it’s likely that they haven’t activated the event, you haven’t hit that part in the questline or something else is going on. If you’ve hit that part in the questline go to Other Springfield and check for the fist. If it’s there you know you’ve got it right.
NEW LAND
there’s a new strip of land added to the game with this update. It runs from the ocean to the right. And it’s at the very bottom of your Springfield (opposite the mountain range)

I only see Fallout Boy, Krusty, and Homer in my Fighter Roster, but I have other fighters like Comic Book Guy, Fan Lad, etc. Why do I only ever see 3 fighters in my roster to select from? Any ideas?
What tasks do you see in your task book?
well I got a late start on this one, was feeling a little burned out and took a few days away from Springfield. Looks like I won’t be able to get all the social prizes from battling friends, oh well. Anyway I am just getting started today and the only heroes I can use are Pie Man, Clownface, and Fallout Boy. I played the first superhero event and I have Dr Colossus, Plopper, The Collector, Bartman, Sidekick Milhouse, The Collider, and of course Radioactive Man. Will these other heroes and villains be unlocked for battles as I progress, or should they already be unlocked? I saw another post that someone reinstalled and they got access to more superheroes, I gave it a try and had no luck.
Welcome back. Those characters are not initially usable, but will be available for battle as you progress in the quest.
As for the social event, everyone who started late is worried they can kiss the last prize goodbye. I personally don’t advise anyone to give up. I really see EA increasing the social battle limit of 3 in subsequent Acts. Keeping it 3 for now is a smart way to make addicted players, as players will come back everyday. The last act, I wouldn’t be surprised if it increases from 3 to 5.
Downloaded the update. Game crashes at the page that you tap “continue” to go into the game. plz help. I’ve signed out of my account and back in…nothing…. I’m playing this on a iPod Touch 4th Gen OS 6.1

I noticed that when the “Sequel Squad to lay low” task is active and I use the unemployment office to send people on tasks it doesn’t send the super heroes, but it also doesn’t send Snake, Bart, or Maggie even though they can’t do the task currently.
I think Snake is because I don’t have Cyborg Snake yet and Bart is because I didn’t pay donuts for Bartman. However, Maggie is interesting…does that mean shes going to be a super hero for this event?!?! (IF so that is super cool).
Yes, if you look at the character collections, Snake, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie all have new Superheroes 2 event costumes. The Unemployment Office probably has this in its programming with the new update and therefore doesn’t send them for the time being.

Nope. You can’t build them up (From what I’m seeing), unfortunately.
My town was logged out and whenever I try to sign back up it says that the email is not valid, what do I do? Thanks!

So if I’m reading this right, I have to do my 3 social battles every single day or I will not get the final prize? I’m ahead on the knuckles calendar but I think a day behind on the social calendar. There’s no way to catch up? Does it count if my neighbors attack me?

I have a question. If I were to buy the satellite, would it do anything productive after the event is over?
I only began playing the game since the old West theme and don’t really know all too much yet.

It’ll most likely earn money when the event is over. There have been items like this in the past which earned event currency during an event that now work like regular buildings.
Please tell me where and how to buy band aids, I bought the small box once for quest but can’t find where to craft them now, I think I’m missing something from the game or can u only craft them once.
They’re in the same menu area as upgrading characters and checking the prize track in the craftin menu. The button for this is on the bottom right and looks like a trophy. With that being said, my advice is not to waste trading cards on them.
What really makes me annoyed is how I can’t play this game. I have an iPod Touch 4g and every time a new event comes, I can’t load the game! Not even once! Tried to uninstall, everything, and still no luck. Not sure if after some days, after I well behind all the event’s tasks, it will starts again, if it does…
Please, anybody else know what can be done?
Store. Store a lot. Store it all if you want. Many “older” devices struggle with RAM. Think of rush hour traffic. Lots of items trying to do the same thing at the same time. You need to make an opening.
I had to do this for mine. Stored a TON of items. Anything animated. Kept Characters on indoor tasks. It really helped.
i’m having the same problem as Roberto. I have 14 GB of available memory after downloading the update but I still can’t play. I did level up quickly after lv 61… does this matter? if so what can I do?
I cannot battle friends even though the quest popped up 12 hours ago. I cannot see it in other Springfield 🙁 any ideas on what I should do?

Found some odd glitches since this hit. I have some regular ‘sends’, such as moleman to perform on open air stage and bouncing Uter on the moonbounce, but after have sent them I stuck have them available for other tasks. Bit complaining as both seem to collect money!

I think they are but I honestly haven’t evaluated them yet.
The game has been really buggy since the update, even as much to limit me from being able to recycle. Clearing from cache seems to fix for a second. Then maybe I can battle one battle before it will do it again. I have the game as a fresh install all by itself on one phone, and also on my daily driver, both are buggy. There also seems to be a flaw in the Exclusive Resort level 5 update requiring no resources.
No update for Kindle yet? I’ve tried logging out, shutting down, rebooting, and checking the app store. Still nothing. Anyone else having this issue?

Just wondering how to use the Science Water in battle. I have 11 bottles, but when I press the icon, a red strike mark appears.
It FULLY heals the Character. So if they are down 3 hearts it’s more beneficial to use 1 drink then 3 bandaids
That syringe mark is only there to give you the option to cancel the action. If you want to go ahead and use the water, all you have to do is tap on the character you want to use it on.
I’m sure everyone has noticed, but just to be thorough, if you buy band-aids, only buy the small box. It gives you 5 for 100. The large box gives you 10 for 210. Twice the amount for more than twice the price. The same goes for the First Aid Kit. Four times the amount for more than four times the price.
They have adjusted the prices, now a large box is 180 cards and the first aid kit is 340 cards. So it makes sense to buy the larger ones if you have the resources.
Small box 5/100=20 cards per bandaid
Large box 10/180=18 cards per bandaid
First aid kit 20/340=17 cards per bandaid
I just unlocked the alien prize. I didn’t think I’d like it, as I definitely prefer items that are more prominent in The Simpsons canon. But he/she/it’s so cute. Love tapping on him/her/it.
My Pie man was stuck behind The Collecter and wouldn’t let me continue on even after I had won all three fights only choices were to resume or retreat…. what happened?

Why is the 10 pack of band aids 210 cards while the 5 is 100? Wouldn’t that mean I should just buy two 5 packs and save 10 trading cards? Or am I missing something….
i was really excited about this because i started playing tsto at the end of the first superheroes event and only got fallout boy and pieman. it kinda looks like if i’m going to get any of the other characters from the prequel, i’ll have to buy them with donuts. will radioactiveman or any of the villains become available?

Before I go getting myself KO’d in other people’s towns, do you just have to fight the social battles to get credit for the prize track, or do you actually have to win?
The reason that I ask is because when I go into friends’ towns, I have two 4-star villains, and the majority of them have three 5-star heroes. Short of burning through the Sciencewater, that’s a losing proposition. Even so, it will take 4 hours after a loss to be able to fight again.

How to send felons to other towns??
I have had the update for a couple days now, and I have the quest to send felons to others towns, but when I go to do it there is no icon in the corner or the screen to start the fights like some of u have suggested.
Is this a bug or glitch, is anyone else experiencing this? Any help would be appreciated.
It could be your neighbor isn’t ready for a battle. It could be you don’t have felons available. Go back to your town and click on your event hub. The second to last icon should be felon management, are they all in color? Or black and white?

I’m new to this event, and I was wondering what the extra strip of land is. Is that for towns that have no room left? I’m only level 36, so is there a maximum amount of land you can buy as you gain levels? Thank you 🙂
No it’ll all be there. It’s at the very bottom of your town (directly opposite from the mountains) and runs from the water to the right…
That is bizarre. There’s no change with land on mine. Although, I wondering if I’m having some glitches with this update. I was also wondering if when you are collecting criminals from neighbors, if you are receiving brass knuckles each time. This is my second day playing this event, and only have gotten brass knuckles from only a few other towns. All the rest are giving me just regular friend points with money like how it usually is with tapping houses/buildings. And I’m not able to tell if it’s a problem with my update, or if it is with all players. I’m really not sure where to find any other answers for it. Thank you very much 🙂
Those land pieces are very costly. The amount varies from 200,000 to 2,500,000 in game cash.
Good to know. The strip is not showing in my town at all, so I didn’t know how much they are to buy, or if they just came free.
You won’t see it until you’ve purchased land adjacent to it. It’s unlikely that, at your level, you’ve purchased anywhere near enough land to see the new strip yet.
I figured out what was wrong. I’m only level 9, and since I don’t have Android’s Dungeon, the game won’t let me progress or battle anyone until I send Fallout Boy and the others to see the Collector.
So level fast my young grasshopper! (Level 939)
I’m a little worried; the game’s been stuck at the “you’ve played three social battles today!” message for over a day now. If this keeps up, I won’t be on track to get the final prize on the wheel in time…
It takes 24hrs from when you started the battle. There’s no standard reset time…it’s different for everyone. So if you started the last one at 12pm you can’t do a social battle again until 12pm the next day.
Alissa (or Bunny, Wookie, ….or anyone really), when I tapped criminals in my friend’s towns I got brass knuckles and trading cards for the first few towns, then only brass knuckles for the next few towns before it stopped paying event currency all together. What are the counts of payouts of trading cards and brass knuckles for tapping in friend’s towns?? Are we supposed to be getting the trading cards the whole time we get brass knuckles, or only just for the first half of friend actions that pay out event currency?
Also, when I get to a town with the fist in the upper right corner, indicating they can social battle, it is telling me that I “have already played three battles today”, when I haven’t. The fist in the right hand corner originally said I had 3 battles available when I started my round of visiting friends, but now shows zero even though I didn’t battle anyone. I’ve only tapped criminals. Alissa, does just tapping on criminals in friend’s towns take away our ability to fight the three social battles?
Trying to evaluate neighbor payouts now…
Could be a glitch in your game…I know it’s a full 24hr reset time, but if you didn’t battle anyone at all yet it should work. (no criminals don’t impact battles)
