Yes… there is a problem with EA’s origin server.
There is no way to know when it will be back up…but if you are getting Error messages…or “you hav been logged out,” you are not alone. As in millions of players.
So…chillax. Do something else and don’t panic.
It is likely another DDOS attack…which seems to be part of the new “fun” hackers from Russia have these days. But, hey…just two more weeks and this madness will be over? Maybe…
THIS IS AN ORIGIN SERVER ISSUE…so it will also mess with any other EA games you play. But, again…there is no reason to worry about losing your game/Springfield as the data is on a different server, and after you able to log back in again, you’ll be fine (providing you remember your username and password).
It’s entirely up to you…but, I guarantee that until they reset and clear the servers, you will just drive yourself nuts. NOTE- Changing your password may help you get on…for a bit. But, in the long run, it is far better to just wait it out. Your sanity is worth something…right?

Hey guys, I have been having some issues with my game after the message that says “Tap to Continue.” After tapping the small donut starts spinning and then stops and then after some time I get a message that the game has stopped working. After that happens it asks if I want to report the issue, wait, or close.
And yes I have already informed EA. I tried all of the methods they told me except logging in on a different device. Which I did do after I had a call with them. It has been 3 days since I have played (Pretty sure I am having some people removing me as a neighbor) I just hope this issue is fixed before tomorrow because Act 3 begins on November 1st.
If you guys have any suggestions that I can try please let me know.

Didnt affect me at all here in canada.
Will there be an extension to the end time for Act 2. As there was almost a whole day lost due to the server outage I will now not have enough time to collect enough clapboards to unlock all the prizes unless I spend donuts. How is EA going to compensate players for the inconvenience caused?
Based on previous events, it’s highly unlikely they’ll extend anything. However, if it looks like a large number of people are significantly behind on the crafting, they may increase payouts down the road. But it’s unlikely that anything they do will be in time to help people who might fall short of getting Death. The best you can hope for is that a call to EA might get you some consolation donuts (or, if a rep is feeling really generous and has the power (which most of the oversees reps don’t, except, perhaps, the reps in Ireland), and it was obvious that you were very close to getting him before the outage, they might just give him to you).
Non TSTO , being Halloween, I convinced my lady friend to give new Ghostbusters a chance as she disliked horror movies. I understand that this movie didn’t do well but some people said it was ok. After watching, I agreed that it was a horrible movie and not funny at all. This is one of those time I was looking forward to the movie ending as I watched. We also watched Sausage Party and my friend was dismayed at the vulgarities. Good animation but definitely not for children.

At about 1 am this morning central time there wasn’t even a login option. It said the ea servers were not available.
I heard the Russians hacked EA servers so they could get some doughnuts and reveal to wikileaks the nextra Christmas and Easter update.
Ea found out and shut down the servers…

Back in business as of a few hours ago for me, Would’ve been nice to have had some form of compensation for this though, Starting to worry about not being able to get Death because of this setback.

I reported it to EA after 3 hours of no access, not knowing it was a wider issue and, of course, as soon as I posted it I was able to log in again. Typical.
I wasn’t able to get in at all late last night. (US East Coast time) but my boyfriend next to me had no problem
Cannot login. Won’t accept email address to reset password and not accepting passwords. Any reports that EA also had accounts hacked?
Maybe it was an EA 👻👻👻 playing tricks on us..
My email address isn’t recognized for the password reset. That’s a scary thought to think my account might have been erased 🙁

Yay! I finally got back in this morning. Although I missed about 36 hours of this event because of this outage.
I’m in Massachusetts and I’ve been playing for about an hour. Hopefully the game is back on for everyone else too. Just to be safe though, I’ve sent my non-THOH needed characters on 12h tasks. It’ll be a nice break and I’ll get more work done in the house if I’m tapping less.
