Your senses can evoke powerful memories in you. The smell of saltwater can trigger you back to your youth spent at the beach, the touch of cotton can bring you back to memories of your mom, and hearing sounds of TSTO can bring back countless hours spent tap, tap, tapping away.
So let’s take a trip down memory lane via the sound effects of TSTO…
Welcome to a special Saturday edition of the sounds of TSTO! In an effort to keep rolling through the audio files I wanted to still push the audio I was planning for this past week, despite the update. This audio post corresponds with the last Name that TSTO Tune post, enjoy!
The very first Treehouse of Horror Event (2012) was followed by the first Thanksgiving “event”. Even back then Thanksgiving wasn’t a big deal in TSTO (i actually think it’s more of a “deal” these days). Basically, this “event” consisted of Parade Balloons and that was about it.
Thanksgiving was followed by the arrival of Fat Tony in our games (not voiced) and shortly thereafter the “Cool Homer” update to round out November.
Then December hit with a bang blizzard in Springfield! As the very first Christmas Event, along with level 24, brought snow to our pocket-sized towns! The fresh blanket of the white show gave everyone a brighter perspective of TSTO…and excitement for what this update would contain!
This update was similar to Halloween, in that you’d collect a special currency to “buy” new prizes and items. There were some fun, festive, animated editions to our games…like snowmobiling, building snowmen, and snow angels.
In edition to the snow, this was the first time we saw Christmas Lights, Dr. Hibbert, Dr. Nick, and Gil!
EA also created another commercial to promote Christmas 2012…
Here are the sounds of that update…
Let’s start with the sounds of Level 24…
And now the Christmas stuff…
Stay tuned for more sounds of TSTO!
What are your thoughts on the sounds of TSTO? Excited about this series? Which sound effect is your favorite? Favorite character voice? Sound off below you know we love hearing from you!
Is EA off or something currently? I try logging in on my IPad & it tells me to log out on my other device. So I try logging in on my IPhone and it tells me to log out on my other device! Tried back & forth several times!😳😳😳
Close them both down…all of the way…then log back on.
Thank you once again for taking us down TSTO memory lane, Alissa …. my goodness, this Game App has come a long way (we’ve seen the best, we’ve complained about the worst, we continue to appreciate and nitpick with EA, but we can’t deny the joy of TSTO audio) 😊👍
I have played since the very beginning and have accumulated a lot of TSTO stuff. But there were several sounds/voices/sayings that I had never heard before.
