Peaceful Groovy Feeling Pt. 1
Marbles starts

Marbles Le Marquez: So who are these guys?
Skinny Palmer: Never heard of them.
Homer: Boys, let’s introduce ourselves properly. Homer!
Lenny: Lenny!
Carl: Carl!
Lou: Anddddddddd Lou!
Homer: We’re Hip-Hoppin’ Homer and the Groovettes!
Marbles Le Marquez: Okay, uh, welcome to Groovetone Records.
Lou: We’re here to record our long-awaited sophomore album.
Marbles Le Marquez: Okay, well I’m Marbles. I’ll be the studio musician doing your backup music. If you’re ready to get started then—
Homer: *gasp* Guys! We forgot the most important thing!
Carl: Our big gold chain necklaces?
Homer: No, our turtlenecks! We’ll never get our sound right without our turtlenecks. Head to the store and pick up four of them.
Marbles Le Marquez: What? I’m a musician, not a—
Homer: Oh, you thought I was talking to you? No, I was talking to our roadie, Kirk.
Kirk: I’m not a roadie, I’m an executive band assistant.
Homer: We need three smalls and one XXL.
Kirk: I’m on it!
Make Kirk Shop for Turtlenecks- 4hrs
Make Homer Warm Up His Smooth Vocals- 4hrs
Make Marbles Le Marquez Tune Instruments- 4hrs
Kirk: Sorry it took so long getting those turtlenecks.
Marbles Le Marquez: Alright, here are your turtlenecks. Can we record your album now?
Lenny: The tight fabric on my neck pinches my trachea just right to give me those tight harmonies.
Homer: I said XXL, what is this, Kirk?
Kirk: It’s actually XXXL.
Homer: Oh, maybe I have to break it in first.

Peaceful Groovy Feeling Pt. 2
Marbles starts

Homer: No woman, no pie!
Lenny: Ooooooh, ooooooooh!
Homer: Cut! Cut! It’s all wrong. Marbles, that smooth bass needs to be, uh…smoother.
Marbles Le Marquez: Smoother? Are you wanting funky smooth, groovy smooth, maybe some funky-groovy smooth?
Homer: Obviously it needs to be a funky-groovy-light-hip-hoppin-smooth fusion. It’s all in the sheet music!
Marbles Le Marquez: All right, calm down, James Brown.
Make Marbles Le Marquez Play the Smooth Bass Uh…Smoother- 4hrs
Homer: Okay, that’s sounding better, Marbles. But a bit of feedback…try to make it a little more, uh…shapely.
Marbles Le Marquez: Shapely?
Homer: Yeah, you know, like how the bass strings should sound uh… measured but also…sardonic.
Marbles Le Marquez: What are you reading? Is that a thesaurus?
Homer: No, I mean… *reads thesaurus* negative.

Peaceful Groovy Feeling Pt. 3
Marbles starts

Marbles Le Marquez: *playing the bass* Is this sardonic enough for you?
Homer: Oh, that’s perfect. *the power goes out*
Carl: *in the pitch black* Uh…Homer are you supposed to be at work right now?
Homer: Oh, do I have to do everything?! Book the studio, Homer. Don’t forget the turtlenecks, Homer. Show up to work so the town doesn’t lose power, Homer. I’ve done enough. Let’s get lunch. Kirk, head to the power plant and fix the problem.
Kirk: Okay, but I don’t know what to do or where to go or—
Homer: It’s easy! Here, take this keycard. Just go into my office in Sector 7-G and push the red button. NOT the red button that makes the reactor melt down, the other red button.
Marbles Le Marquez: *groans* I’ll help him.
Make Marbles Le Marquez Help Kirk Get the Power Back On- 2hrs
Make Homer Get Lunch- 4hrs
Make Lenny Get Lunch- 4hrs
Make Carl Get Lunch- 4hrs
Make Lou Get Lunch- 4hrs
Kirk: Okay, I’m back. I think I fixed everything — one of the reactors started leaking, but that’s normal, right?
Marbles Le Marquez: We fixed it the best we could. Now can we please just finish recording your weird album, Homer?
Homer: Hey! This is all part of the creative process! What you need to do is use all that frustration and inject it into the music!

Peaceful Groovy Feeling Pt. 4
Marbles starts

Homer: Alright, Marbles. This next song is gonna need you on the piano. It’s a smooth groovin’ tune about love, loss, and how much I hate Marge’s sisters.
Marbles Le Marquez: Piano? But I’m a bass player. That’s all I know how to play. Well, bass and triangle.
Homer: Hmm, triangle might be better. This could be good.
Marbles Le Marquez: *triangle trill*
Homer: I love it! Now try to keep up with us, we’re gonna play at triple-time-divided-by-two.
Marbles Le Marquez: *groans*
Make Marbles Le Marquez Play the Triangle- 4hrs
Make Homer Sing About Marge’s Stupid Sisters- 4hrs
Lou: Homer, I’ve never met Marge’s sisters, but there’s so much raw passion in this song that I think I hate them more than anything in the world.
Homer: That’s the power of music, Lou. The power of music…

Peaceful Groovy Feeling Pt. 5
Marbles starts

Homer: Looks like the album is finally done. Marbles, time to get out there and sell.
Marbles Le Marquez: You want me to go sell your albums? But it’s your band.
Homer: I can’t go out and sell the album. I have to think about the music. How do you think I come up with all this? Ooh, that could be a song! How do you think the music arrives? / Like rain on a desert mountain? / Like the sky falling down and crushing our lives? It’s a work-in-progress.
Make Marbles Le Marquez Sell Albums on the Corner- 1hr
Make Homer Wait for His Huge Payday- 1hr
Homer: Well, how many millions of albums did you sell?
Marbles Le Marquez: Two.
Homer: Two million albums?!
Marbles Le Marquez: Two albums. To the same person. Marge Simpson. And then she returned them. Here’s an itemized bill for the studio time.
Homer: *gasp* This wasn’t free? Um, Kirk will take care of it.
Kirk: What?
Homer: RUN!!!!!

  1. Marbles Le Marquez is a great character prize and in my opinion is one of the best characters to be released this year. He’s a voiced character and is also one of the 7 characters released this year to be voiced. It was also great to unlock Marbles Le Marquez early in the event instead of at the end. He has some decent outdoor tasks since Marbles playing the bass and trying to sell Homer’s album are both funny visual tasks. Marble’s indoor tasks are pretty great too since he can use 2 buildings from the event (Groovetone Records and KJAZZ) and some random locations that relate to horses or reindeers. The dialogue and questline for Marbles Le Marquez was pretty amusing too. A joint visual task with Skinny Palmer and Tic Tock Simpson playing the bass, trumpet and drums on a stage would make them all even better characters and costume from the event. 🎸📀🎤

  2. Hi Krregt, thanks for the advice. Yeah, I got loads of donuts then stored away all the KRUSTY Burgers and it stopped. Funny thing all the characters were all in one place and not moving for awhile. Looked odd having so many characters overlapping. Thanks for the advice. In future I’ll know what to do!!

  3. Marbles le Marquez – hey we get another fun character that’s voiced (I guess if you take the time to heckle EA on their Social Networks regarding , “all these new Characters introduced into TSTO this year and only one or two are voiced”, they will finally listen – lol) and I did take the time to thank EA …

    Visual Tasks are great

Hey, this was fun for me! 😉

  4. Help! After the update, the game signed me out and when I logged back in, it default to a previous level. I deleted and reinstalled the app, sat through all the updates, logged in, but it still took me back to level 330 (I was at level 380+). Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas to fix this?

At least two to three years ago there was a “rollback glitch” that many of us assumed was taken care of by EA ….. but now it sounds like you have the same problem, so the sooner you visit the two following links? the better (as in EA will try to help you!)

      https://help.ea.com/en/the-simpsons/the-simpsons-tapped-out/

The first website you will fill in the details, the second is Twitter (send EA a tweet describing your problem). Both will get Customer Support to assist you during business hours (9 to 5 Eastern Time), just prepared to give them all the information they ask for.

Very sorry for your problem, I hope it gets solved.

  5. Hi, how’s everyone? HELP!! I’m stuck in a Daily Challenge loop!! After completing “Check the daily promotion ( at KRUSTY Burger ) the challenge is done but all the characters are still there, I’ve 200+ chargers there still appearing with the thumbs up and waiting for me to collect. Even after they’re “cleared” I still don’t see them. When I vision someone else and come back – they’re all there again for the collection. How do I get out of this loop? Thanks.

    • Either store the Krusty Burger or another building associated with any one of the characters on task there and you then should be able to clear it. Alternatively, turn on your collider, collect, go to the visit friends screen, return, collect and repeat to earn lots of exp quickly if you need donuts.

  6. Would have been nice to have him play outside the spotted cat with Bart on drums and the trumpet guy. EA really miss these tasks/great visuals

    • I think IF enough Tappers put in a request at the TSTO Facebook Page, maybe EA will do this (I do appreciate this Mini Event, but the little things that “should have” – like you described, make this a Grade B Grade A).

Great suggestion for where a Character could have an Animated Task (always looks cool when you can get more than one Character in front of a Building or Decor). 😀👍🏻

    • They had nothing to do with The Spotted Cat in the show considering it is a location in New Orleans and the Simpsons visit it and see Bleeding Gums Murphy’s Nephew play there. I do agree with the Skinny Palmer Trio (Tic Tock Simpson, Marbles Le Marquez and Skinny Palmer) having visual tasks together instead of just individually.

I think EA could’ve released a Jazz Stage (the jazz stage in the Jazzy Goodtime’s would be a great item) and allow characters such as Bart (and Tic Tock Simpson), BGM, Database, Marbles Le Marquez, Martin, Ralph, Skinny Palmer and Uter to perform on it. It could also be programmed the same way as the Hip-Hop, Pop and Rock Stages were in which you can send up to 4 characters to perform at the Jazz Stage by tapping the stage and selecting the characters that can perform there.

    • Alissa Patric Safi have always kept us up-to-date on the TSTO Game App (each would encourage you to first try rebooting your device. If that doesn’t work, then uninstall and reinstall the Game App).

TSTO is one of those Game Apps that requires a significant amount of ROM freed up on your device, as well as a significant amount of RAM, too (the more, the better).

As I have published before, EA is getting rid of Origin Account on their PC and Console Games and replacing it with what is called EA Play and EA Play Pro (but, EA will announce if changes will be made signing into a Mobile Game App).

I do not see any Network outage reports on @EAHelp (Twitter), so please try the steps above and hopefully you can login to TSTO).
