Love and War Act 2 is Live! The Rundown and What You Need To Know

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Love is in the air!  Although maybe not so much in the Simpsons’ household…
Love and War is the latest event to hit our pocket-sized towns, and it’s an all-out romance novel affair! Act 2 of Love and War is upon us!  Also always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

Side note…sorry this is up so late.  Crazy morning at work…

Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on March 10th.  However, Act 3 will start on February 21st  (Note the Sunday start date). 

Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between Marge and Temperance…

Temperance: So let me understand this, I’m just a character in your novel?
Marge: I guess so. Honestly, I’m just as confused as you are.
Temperance: Yes, you look it.
Marge: *grumble*
Temperance: Then you were the one who made my husband so evil. Why would you do that?
Marge: Well, when I created you, I was kind of going through some things with my own husband. Just like I am now. And at most times in between.  Anyway, writing this story was helping me work through my feelings.
Temperance: I’m sorry to hear that. Where is your husband?
Marge: I kicked him out.
Temperance: Women can do that here?! Tell me more about this wondrous world…

This triggers the Act 2  questline, Amorous Avarice, and is followed by a 4hr task for Marge and Temprance, as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (155).  Amorous Avarice is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 2…

Here’s the Act 2 Synopsis from EA:

Now face to face with Temperance Barrows, the protagonist from her novel, Marge volunteers to show her around town to admire modern-day life. The two decide to attend a movie and wind up bumping into Artie.

Much to Marge’s chagrin, Temperance quickly falls for the man, so now Marge must think of a way to
keep her leading lady from winding up with a villain. After a little inspiration, Marge writes Cyrus Manley
back into her novel, who is currently dating Temperance, which brings Cyrus to life in Springfield.

Temperance is now torn between the two men, so she takes a page from Marge’s book and writes through her feelings in her own romance novel. She then comes to the realization that Artie is the right
choice, and dumps Cyrus.

As I stated above, you’ll go right into the Amorous Avarice questline, which is what the Act 2 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 2 prizes.

I’ll lay out specifically what you need to do for each part in the turbo tappin’ post, but I don’t want any of you to get messed up with this.  So don’t forget to SCROLL!

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency.  From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event.  So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc. 

Characters earn:

5 /4hrs for Freemium
8 /4hrs for New Premium

These are STILL unlockable if you haven’t completed that prize track.  You have until the event ends to unlock ALL the prizes.  So keep going with the earlier Acts if you haven’t yet finished it. You have until March 10th to finish those…
