The Love and War Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (9 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!

Somehow I had ‘Lick pictures of Wedding cakes’ stuck as the default task of those characters that could be sent to collect wedding cakes. It’s annoying as it is a 4 hour task and I cannot send them to jobs through Office of Unemployment any longer. At first I thought things would get back to normal by the next event, after that I thought maybe the next App Store update would fix everything, but no sir. I even tried uninstall/install, to no avail. Is there anything I could do? Anyone else getting this?
You may need to finish out that questline. Do you still have the wedding cake icon in your task book?
No, it vanished as soon as the event ended. I just barery made the second to last prize, it may be that I had the last jobs running while the event time ran out. And just to be sure I kept sending those guys to the job for a good couple of days, but gave up eventually.
Just double-check that you don’t have the little box icon on your task book, the one that stores old tasks. If you do click on that and make sure the icon’s not in there.
No, there’s no box icon, nor do I remember having ever seen one. Where exactly should it appear? I started thinking if it would be possible that there is an embedded storyline in some of the prizes that I have, a building maybe, that I’ve missed at the time?

With that event none of the prizes (except for full characters) came with additional questlines. There’s a task stuck somewhere and generally (unless it’s part of a daily challenge) it would be in the task book somewhere.
There’s no reply button after your last message, I hope you find this here. There’s absolutely nothing in the task book but the current event at the moment. It actually crossed my mind yesterday that it could be something related to daily challenges. It’s driving me crazy! Bwaaah!
I like the cruise boat – nice big addition to the sea shore, the money burning pit can fit with all my other burning decor so my Gesprungfeld can really feel the burn, and of course the valuable token. Not going to do the Ziff Hotel tho, it looks as boring as the Generic Hospital. Am as disappointed in Artie for that one, as Marge is in him haha
I really wish teenage homer was bundled with prom time homer, at least in the shop maybe 🙁
