The End is Near for the Simpsonsverse…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a reminder that the Simpsonsverse Event Ends TOMORROW September 8th.

Hopefully, you’ve all successfully made it through the multi-verse, as we move onto something new in Springfield!

As far as questlines go, what’s happened in the past is that the current prize you’re working on (on any Act questline) you were able to finish.  Once that current prize was completed then the questline disappeared.

This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.

As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.

Also, It’s EA so who the heck knows…the trend seems to be a week off between Multi-Events and Mini-Events. (although that was blown up after the last event…)  So it’s likely we’ll see nothing this week, and a mini-event next week.  Perfect time for redesign work!

(and don’t forget about Showoff!  Submissions are due tonight!)

Now as far as what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…

  • Questlines linked directly to the progression of the event will go. Like the Main Questline that pulled you through all 4 Acts. (unless you’ve started one, any questlines started you’ll be able to finish that part one the event ends)
  • However, the questlines linked directly to the prizes and Premium Characters you’ve won will remain. (so The Ethereal Beings, Anime Marge, etc)
  • The event removal will likely require an app store update to fully remove it from your game.  So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game (or the splash screen remains the same)…  It will require an app store update to remove everything.

I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of the collection as far as you can. However, with the last few events, EA has really shut off the ability to play on “borrowed time”.  In other words, once the timer runs out the ability to collect prizes ends.  So don’t count on getting any extra time with this one.  Try to finish everything up before the timer runs out tomorrow morning.

So finish up those questlines, relax, and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.

I’ll be back later today with the final dialogue for Act 4 of this event, to wrap it all up and restore some order back to our pocket-sized towns!

Oh and another reminder…don’t forget Springfield Showoff!  Submissions for your event designs should be emailed ( by tonight.  So please be sure to send them in! 🙂

Are you sad to see the event go?  Or ready for it to finally be over?  How did you do with the prizes?  Get everything you wanted?  What are you hoping to see next?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Has there been an App Store update to remove the last event?? I still have the splash screen and have checked the App Store every day, no update that I can find….

  2. As I recall there was a major hiccup that caused some delays and likely explains the absence of a gap between events that would have put us back on the more normal/typical schedule.

  3. I give this event a solid “meh”.

So what is your prediction for the next one? A few days off, and then a short mini-event next week, followed by a week off, before leading into a four part Halloween related event?

    • In the rundown post for Tavern Trouble I laid out a little inside TSTO Baseball…

“As a little inside TSTO baseball: I will say, thinking about it, this does totally make sense to start up now.  You’ve got this 2-week mini-event, which ends July 28th, then a week off and a 5-week major event likely to start on August 4th.  That will likely run until Sept. 8th…and that’ll give you a week off, followed by a two-week mini-event, and another week off followed by Halloween starting around October 6th.  Of course, this is just my suspicion…and it lines up well for this…but we’ll see what EA actually does.”

Still lining up well for it.

    • 😴 is this Multi-Act Event finally done?

Noir started out fun, but things quickly got dumb (nothing made sense, not even the writing!)🤷🏼‍♂️

If that small dedicated EA Staff got their vacations done? Then it makes sense for the remainder of this year can be –

      Mini Event (Sept)
      Week Off
      Multi-Act Event (Sept Oct)
      Week Off
      Mini Event (Nov)
      Week Off
      Multi-Act Event (Nov Dec)

Things may not play out like that if there is a technical (I’m still editing my Springfield, so no hurry for me as I want to make sure I have space for a New Content). 🤔
