It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I made 1 if each as prompted but stopped after that as I had not long started playing again after a long lay off and wanted to concentrate on my Springfield.

I’m curious… is anyone else bothered that some characters will go to their indoor task over their visual task (assuming they have two 4 hour jobs for example) when you use the Job Centre to send all characters to Xhr jobs?
If they have a visual task, it’s nice to see them out and about (especially if it’s a premium character hahah). I really wish that when you sent all characters on their jobs, they would prioritise the visual task first. Unfortunately with so many characters, it takes too long to go through them one by one 😂
Maybe I’m being too picky! Hahah
I think they do that intentionally, to minimize the strain on the device. I haven’t heard folks talking about it as much these days, but, for example, there was a time that sike people with less powerful devices had trouble visiting neighbors who had their monorail running, because it would crash their game. This game is fairly CPU intensive as it is and, if every character were outside doing visible tasks, it would be even more so.
Hello all.
Is anyone else caught in a loop from December 5ths daily task? Yesterday I sent all Springfielders off to Quickie Mart for 60 minutes.. since then it’s just been a never ending loop, collect then they all go right back to the task.
I’ve updated to the latest version, did a soft boot of my iPhone, deleted and reinstalled the game and now contacted EA.
And additional remedies would be appreciated 👍
Store the building they are in.

Does anyone know how to get Marge and Maggie to fly their sleigh. I was able to do it one year but haven’t since.
I think I know why our excellent hosts are sick.. these are the worst prizes I have ever seen for an event. And I saved up 143 donuts. There is literally nothing want. Premium or prize track
Christmas event looks like a gift this year! Best prizes from an event in a long time. Most will be out in my town and happily used. Merry Christmas to everyone!
The Simpsons Tapped Out and this TSTO site are the best! I have been playing since the games creation and while frustration is not desired, thank you Graham for providing useful tips to access our EA account.
I appreciate EAs caution because it seems that not a day goes by without another entity getting hacked and exposing innocents data.
How I wish these hackers and spammers would use their skills for good services instead of what they use their skills…
I’ve recently eclipsed 50,000 donuts as a Freemium Player (I don’t buy donuts), Wondering how this stacks up against other long-time players? And, is it time for me to retire from TSTO?
Started playing at the “Clash of Clones” event and as a Freemium player, I’m at 49,914 donuts at this moment. I’ll break 50,000 later tonight.
Ready for the holiday event! Been away for a year or two, but got back on during the Halloween event. That has always been a favorite. Happy to be back.

All my friends are turning on the Christmas lights in their towns and I’m feeling suuuuper jealous since I lost all mine with my old town. Now that I’ve started my new town, what are the odds I’ll be able to acquire the Christmas light facades again?
The info pack didn’t include Returning Content, but they may be back in store – we’ll find out soon …
WOOHOO! The Happy Little Elves in Panda Land ride is finally coming back? Can I finally complete my Krustyland? I’ve been wanting it for years. Can’t wait to find out on Wednesday!
Currently between two updates (just finished the last one) which is the period I like the most in this game. It gives me time to decorate and not be stressed about deadlines. I’m still having fun with this game even 11 years later. Long live this game ^v^
EA has updated on Facebook what the splash screen will be for the next event. Snow will be falling in our towns this week. Be prepared for a HUGE download. It’s always large this time of year.
I wish EA would bring back signing in with a password. I’m so tired of email codes every time someone wants to play. I’ve had to request one three times and I still haven’t gotten it.

First thing is to check your EA Account.
Head there and make sure there’s a tick by your email and it says verified. If not you can get them to send an email with a link to prove it’s really you.
If that’s OK there’s 2 things worth trying, either or both …
If you don’t have another email then create one and change the email to that. You’ll need to find a way to check the new email as it will be the one you need to use for codes.
If you’ve not used it on another EA account add your mobile number. You can then tap Phone at log-in and use the registered number to get codes via SMS.
That will also help to recover your account if you ever lose access to your email, as does adding a Recovery email that isn’t the main account one.
It’s always a good tip to go through the steps to change your password if you have to mess with an EA account that’s misbehaving. Even if you use the old one again do it anyway.
Make sure to hit Update to save the changes !!
