So, you may be wondering where the spoilers are for the Christmas content. I greatly apologize but Super Safi and I have both been under the weather with ailments impacting our throats and voices. As a result, we just were unable to put together a video this time around, which is a massive bummer to me because y’all know I love Christmas! We both are on the mend, but with limited time before the event hits (it hits tomorrow), I wanted to at least get some info out to you guys, now that I can sit up for longer than 10 minutes without wanting to pass out.
So here’s a massively abbreviated spoiler rundown…and hopefully we’ll both be back for another video with the next major event.

“With the horrors behind us, it’s time to look ahead to Christmas vacation! And there’s Snow Place Like the Woods to spend a cozy, warm, stress-free family vacation. Especially when it’s a vacation you weren’t planning on, because you suddenly learned the property belongs to your aging father who just got his will put together. Surely there’s nothing suspicious about that…”
This event is entitled Snow Place Like the Woods.
It’s a multi-event that will run until January 10th 2024. That’s a whole lot of snow!

Homer’s plan for a Christmas present for his father backfires when, upon calling to let Grampa know they’re going to do his estate planning for him, his father informs him that it’s already been done. When Homer and Marge read through the will, they discover a vacation home neither of them knew anything about, so Homer decides to go check it out, dragging the family along with him as a “Christmas vacation.” But when they arrive, they discover that this vacation home is nothing more than a basic log cabin with no amenities to speak of, and the vacation looks like it’ll be a total bust. But the family pulls together, much to everyone’s surprise, and manage to have a relaxing week out in the woods. That is, until Lisa and Maggie discover a lake on their property that’s glowing an ominous shade of green. Turns out that Mr. Burns “gifted” the land to Grampa to hide an illegal dumping site for toxic waste, and now the Simpsons are responsible for the cleanup. Will they be able to find a way out of this? There’s Snow Place Like the Woods to find out!

Does anyone know how to trigger act two ( completed act 1) or does it open up on a specific day?
WEIRD! I now have 5 characters (yesterday it was only Mooch Bart) that I cannot send on 12/24 hour jobs because they require the Future Simpson House ( which I have) because it has a, lock symbol in the task bar. HELP! Any suggestions?

Can you give me the character and the job names and I’ll see what I can find out.
I think I have found the answer… Same problem with Animee Marge and Yo-yos Cloud Palace… store and replace the building and the 24hr task is unlocked!
Is there any building that give land tokens in stead of cash like the Cosmo gives donuts every day just wondering
Golden Goose Realty, but for the last few years the only way to get that is the Gold Box in the Black Friday stuff.
I keep campaigning for it to be released as a buy-it-now item like it used to be, and to make it easily available, but no luck yet.
I actually prefer this method of finding out the spoilers for the event, so I can quickly scroll through and see from the photos what the event has to offer. Maybe for the next event you can do the same!

Anybody else have this issue my theme loaded but no quests I deleted and re installled , same thing
My BF and I have the same problem. We updated about a couple of weeks ago and the new splash screen appeared along with snow and decorations but the acts have yet to trigger.
I like act 1-3 but like normal by the time they get to act 4 it’s off the rails & the style doesn’t match the rest of the acts

I would have hoped to get more interesting new items for this event, something special to buy for christmas.
And it also would be nice to wish for a special gift at christmas, something that is as handy as the christmas decorations button and the button to collect all xp and money from the houses. I really think a lot of people would love to have a button to collect the xp and money from the characters, i know i really need such button, i think it would be a great christmas gift to wish for. I have around 500 characters and it really takes a while to collect it……..

I send my characters (as many as possible) on 8hour jobs using the employment bureau, they tend to all go to “dance the senor burns” for adults, or “caught in webs” for the kids – its a simple job then for collecting.
I’ve got over 500 characters too, and whilst this doesn’t cover every character it covers enough to make it the most efficient method of getting the characters to work and generate $$$
I’ve had Patty’s quest stalled for years, so I hit the 4-hour task, and send 475+ adults on a never-ending rave at the She-She Lounge. Collider’s perpetually on, multiplier’s @ 1850+, so that yields a bunch of donuts every time I let them take a break. The non-Simpsons kids are stashed at Wizarding School, and hardly ever come out. I’m not a total Grinch, I let a few roam around.

usually im upset with event prizes too, but these are actually great! these are items that looks good, and serve a year round purpose….do you really need another snowman…?

I have wanted to upgrade my snowman too. Have you had any luck getting the quest to trigger or anything at all to happen? I’ve stored and replaced the pile of snow but can’t seem to get anything to happen. Any help would be appreciated.
Do these all suck as much to everyone else as I feel they do? I’ve been saving up donuts since Halloween for Xmas, usually my fav event but this is garbage

Without new land this game is going to become pointless.
How long have you been playing? I’ve been playing since 2014 and I still have a bunch of land I haven’t even opened up yet! It’s possible to have “economor them to increase the item limit than open up more land…I only have about 300 (or fewer) items left to go before I’m maxed out.
maybe clean up the land you have already? do you really need all those event building out? do the 17 castles really look good in your everyday springfield? i doubt it
When I first saw the teaser on Facebook with the splash screen, I thought for sure that we would get “the Medicine Woman” from the movie.
It’s not a particularly inspiring holiday event, but it’s always good to see the snow. I hope that this year, the snow in the game sticks around until March, like many of us here in the Northeast sometimes see IRL.
Oh, I can see a lot of Tappers not being happy with this. I’m perfectly ok. My Christmas SF is maxxed out, so is most of my town. My NW passage still has room for growth. Good job EA!
