Well look no further…we answer all of that and more here…

A quick Heads Up …
They changed the start time to 15:01 UTC
( UK 3 pm GMT or US 10 am ET )
10 am est time…huh…
I’ve mentioned a few times over the years that using 14:00 UTC in winter and 15:00 UTC in summer means there’s 2 different start times 2 hours apart, but if it was reversed to 15:00 in winter and 14:00 in summer then events would always start at the same time ( depending on when your area’s clock change happens ).
Guess we’ll see if they decided to do that over the next couple of events …
What’s going on with leaving a comment???
It used to be so easy. It feels like it’s been a year since I’ve been able to post something. I keep trying to comment on stuff even though I don’t see any of my comments posted. Why do I keep trying……one might ask…..The answer my friends, is blowing in the 🌬. The answer is blowing in the
🌬 ….it’s that or I’m stubborn as Hell.
Comments need to be read and approved, so it depends on who is around ( or not ) when you post.
If it’s not spam / duplicate / breaks site rules it’ll show up eventually

Like the last time they had a play with these though it’s just a task to hit a handful rather than the old days of ’em earning currency.

Stupid question, are “tappables” a thing you collected in the past? Or something a part of this event?
Fair question, it’s been a while …
Older events used to generate random wandering NPCs that you could tap to earn event currency, but in those days each Act lasted 2 weeks then ended so there would only ever be one active currency to collect.
With these new 4 act events you could end up wanting to collect all 4 currencies, so they used the NPCs but just assigned a task for you to go and tap on a handful instead.
video is painfull !! you guys need to stop saying “ahh” and “uhm” …. and get to the fn point please. 1/2 hour vido for 7 min of info is brutally long.
Lucky for us then that there is a fast forward function and a preview function. So you can just scroll to the relevant info slides and move on. They work hard to keep this site (and the games popularity) going for a game that EA probably wants to discontinue. Don’t hate too much!

I start checking in a few times a day on the weekends just in case an early spoiler video drops even though I know it probably won’t hit until Monday, that’s how much I look forward to it. You have put in so much volunteer time and effort over the years for love of the show, the game and us Addicts <3 We see you, love you and appreciate you. Please don't change anything. Busy life indeed. I just got off my 34th flight in 38 days of 2024 last night.
I’ve worked in Montana, Florida, Toronto, Oregon, Quebec, Florida, California, Kansas, Arkansas, Oregon, Florida, Toronto so far this year. And have Alberta, Quebec, California, Florida, and Alaska in the coming 2 weeks. I’ll be at 51 flights by the end of February.
Does the pilot know you don’t work for the airline ?!!

Your work life is my nightmare, but I hope you enjoy it….it takes all kinds to make the world run. 🙂 My SIL had a similar work situation, except her travel was even more international (as well as domestic), including loads of trips to Asia. She enjoyed her job and didn’t seem to mind all the travel it involved at all.
You can’t provide that type of info without giving a hint of what type of job you have..lol. Wait…are you a flight attendant?

Really strange that this time the town didn’t go completely back to normal as it always does after the snow is removed. We’ve gone back to a Fall theme. Wonder if it’s a glitch on EA’s end.
I’m wondering why my retort that answered Sandra Shrill’s question wasn’t posted. I’ve said way more inappropriate things that have been posted. All I stated was that undesirables are allowed in my Springfield..and how people that may have spent money on this game, over years, deserve more land. I never made a personal insult or anything even close…just explained how some need more land because they place EVERYTHING in the towns…without any Discrimination towards characters or buildings….weird why it wasn’t posted.

Does anybody know how I can remove the old tasks from Halloween and beyond? they are not going away and it’s an eyesore. I don’t want to complete them anymore. I remember years ago these tasks would disappear when the next event would start but now it’s not.
Finish the tasks and they will go away.

I have a handful of characters that I send on regular tasks, mainly because they amuse me ( like singing at the stonecutters table) – but ALWAYS seems to be those characters who I have to release from there regular tasks for events! So poor Mona can no longer feed the birds with Grandpa, Witch Marg can’t accelerate crops ( which are always real corn..!), and Wiggum and Homer are out of their stonecutter costumes for a while! Doesn’t do my OCD any good! But seriously- looking forward to the new tasks – and curious if others ( like me) have regular task they send characters on? I have quite a few – mostly 16 hour tasks that can’t be done via the IRL building- but like to see Furious D following Twicorn, Burns frolicking in currency and Lampard sleeping under a newspaper. Oh, and Jesus always has to cast judgement… don’t ask me why!!!
I’m almost out of land too. I’ve been playing since almost the beginning and am not going to carve up my town that I worked so long on. That said, I’ll be skipping this event and future ones until EA adds more land. Bummer.

For those who suffer for lack of land….are you putting each building on its own parcel, surrounded by road? I see a lot of that type of design in my friendvilles and have always thought that it was not only an “expensive” choice, land-wise, it’s also highly unrealistic. There are very few buildings IRL in cities or suburbs that stand alone like that on their own “block” with road all around them. I’m not saying all this from a “holier-than-thou” perspective, but rather as a suggestion as a way to economize on space.
I’m definitely not the best designer out there — I’d say my skills are pretty decent, but not spectacular — but I do try to make my designs “logical” and economical. My early areas are a bit too economical, because that’s all I could afford as a low-level player, but I have done more expansive designing in later areas. And yet, after paying for almost 10 years, I still have a fair amount of unopened land left to go. I also don’t feel compelled to place absolutely everything…if I don’t like something, or it’s just way too big or out of scale or doesn’t really logically belong anywhere, it stays in my inventory.
10 years and plenty of open land? I’d have to see your town to judge your design skills 😉
Feel free to send a friend request….game ID is my name without the space. I have a couple of recent items plopped down that I haven’t yet properly designed into my town. Some areas of my town are more creatively done than others….as I said, my landing area is one of my least nice areas, so do take a stroll all around. Happy to hear what you think!
Have you cleared all the Northward Bound expansion area? If so, Wow!!. 9+ years playing and I still have land left in my regular Springfield area, and haven’t even started placing things across the mountains and canyon.

Since I don’t do spoilers, can you just say when it will start? I’ve been assuming tomorrow, but I’d love to know for sure.

Tomorrow for sure. And for some people..like me, yes, we know how to design..and I don’t have a single building in inventory. I also design to reflect real life, like parking lots, and parking spaces, a forest, large airport for such a large city, recreational spots as well. So don’t get upset with people, like me that want more land, actually need it. Just because you store buildings you don’t like, or don’t think fit somewhere, not everyone is like you. I specifically remember you saying you didn’t get that mean babysitter/building because you don’t like the character. In real life, there are, as you would probably say, undesirables around every corner…I choose to keep them ALL in my Springfield, like real life..not hidden in storage or not even obtained. I’m also assuming based on previous statements, that you don’t really spend any money on this game, which is fine, but some of us have spent some money, maybe a lot, and feel more land has been earned. How long would this game have continued if no one spent any money? The game continues because of the people that spend money on it..period. Before assuming we must have no idea how to design, like we’re some sort of idiots, think again..then again, and stop judging.
Boy, you are projecting a whole lot into my comment that wasn’t there! I specifically said I was just making suggestions, NOT making my comment as a holier-than-thou thing! I also never said that I was against EA offering more land….my point was, that, in the absence of that, there are some things one can do in the meantime to adjust for that. And, you would also be wrong about my not spending any real money on this game….I absolutely have.

I mean at least its something a little different. Will probably use about 1/2 of these prizes, maybe a little less. I am a rare TSTO player who actually loves his Krustyland, I&S Land, Mt Splashmoore, and Duff Gardens amusement parks, so I will be incorporating these into my KL.
(i moved my Simpson’s house to my KL so my neighbors will visit it and get inspired)
I hate the circus, and am tired of the rererereturn of Krusty. If anyone needs me, I’m going to my room.

With every event I pray to the EA Gods for more land. Maybe next time. It looks like I will have to delete part of my airport or Springfield University to make everything fit. ***SIGH***

There’s nothing a player can do, needs the Devs to sort that.
I’ve sent in 4 possible fixes some time ago, maybe the next update they’ll make a change … or not
I’m out of room for anymore new buildings, will have to squish them all together and it won’t look like a kewl town
You can have some buildings close together and still have it look “kewl,” like many cities are. You just need to do it thoughtfully, paying attention to scale, theme, etc., and do some decorating around them (fences, bushes, crosswalks, lamps, etc. — whatever makes sense for the buildings you’re using).
I can’t remember the name of the land ( sorry – rubbish on names) but the one that comes across from Springfield Heights where you unlock land to mine donuts and get trees and buffalos) – I have managed to free up all of that and moved my golf.course over there and all the circus stuff. Also stuck all my KL I to what was Springfield Heights to keep I separate and close to the circus. This freed up a lot of land in my main Springfield – it still need at some stage to do a bit of a juggle to move some of the more recent buildings ( I.e. church to church area, shops to shopping streets etc)!
Thanks for the spoiler video..I’m sorry to not hear about any land expansion. The decorations should be relatively easy to incorporate into Krustyland or my circus area, but I may have a hard time placing a few of the new buildings. I’m always pleased to have any new content and am looking forward to the usual funny dialogue. On a side note..Safi..you kinda look like Balki from the late 80s early 90s tv snow, “Perfect Strangers”. Not sure why that came to mind today..but if your not familiar, take a look.

Yea..I can see that. When I was 8-12 or so..I got Pugsly from Adams Family, I was a little chubby, but mostly because I had this favorite black and white striped shirt I wore a lot. In high school I got Corey Feldman, especially after “Dream A Little Dream” came out. What a strange film that was.
