It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Simpsons is off for the summer. Did you catch the last episode 18 season finale reminder? What did you think of the season finale? Did you ever have a pet organ? Also, as mentioned 19 weeks ago, season 35 is finally under way in the UK. Did you catch the start of season 35 if you live in the UK?
The current mini event Charity Case comes to an end this week. Did you catch Graham’s rundown? How are you progressing so far in the mini event?

Hi, is there any way for us to get more land tokens? I seldom get one as my daily challenge rewards anymore, and really need tokens to expand
The only way to reliably get those tokens is with Golden Goose Realty.
For the last 3 years that’s only shown up in the Gold Mystery Box during the Black Friday promotions.
I do keep trying to get ’em to release it as an easily available buy-it-now item, but so far no luck
If you were debating getting Buddha Homer this may sway you.
It was brought to my attention that his 8 hour job, Preach Enlightenment, has a chance it’ll pay a Donut on completion.
The 4 hour version in the questline definitely does give a Donut when done.
I wish the ornaments in the events and mini events had a bonus %.
It’s unusual for the prizes to have a bonus, but it does happen sometimes
It’s also unusual for buildings as prizes to pay at the Premium rate, but the first two from the Charity Case event did

If you say it backwards numerous times….and I definitely don’t recommend it…but like anything..if you say it backwards numerous times..whether it be the Bible, or an old copy of a High Times magazine..or Cracked..or,a vintage “Meng and Ecker” comic out the GB..no matter what you are repeating over and…backwards….I promise this….people will think you are crazy..I promise. No diggidy..and never explain the salamander fiend …
Always nice they’ve got events queued up for us, even if they are basically the same thing over and over again. I find there isn’t much left to do in the game and if there wasn’t any new content, then there wouldn’t be much point in continue to play the game.
I remember a couple of years ago when there hadn’t been any updates for a while and players were starting to panic.
Matt Selman took the time to post on Twitter to reassure us all the game wasn’t ending and there would be new stuff soon.

Yes I agree at least we still have something left of the game but it’s a poor substitute for what in once was
