It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Not much you may have missed this week around the Addicts Site. Oh, except:

Three questions…
– Did they skip the Mirror world Disco Guy, or did I miss him? (I know they offered some characters separate from any Taps.)
– Will they make it possible to do the quest to have the Sea Captain swab the ghost ship?
– How can you have the Sea Captain fly the sled pulled by penguins?
A hush falls over the crowds as we get closer to the in circle of the core Simpson. Which voice we will lose next.
The end is in distance, but it becomes clearer. EA will silence even more when the game end. I beg of you go back and listen to sound bits from all the original voice characters in Tapped out. Ms. K, Dr. Monroe, Dr. Hibbert, Apu.
Pamela Hayden’s retirement is definitely sad news.
Can anyone help. I get the cannot connect to server message. The only way I could fix in the past wat to delete and reinstall.. but I can’t anymore. Does anyone know how to get the game to load…. Please.

Hello , been playing 11 years and I’m sad, just want to know if there will be anything more , any updates at all?
I mean I’m still missing 100 carachters this means I’ll never see them rigth?

Have you checked the five Taps releases to see if they have some of your missing characters for sale there?

Thanks for sharing that! It’s a shame…I hope they can find a good enough replacement that the change won’t be noticable. (I’m afraid that could be too tall an order, though….even when Jim Henson’s own son took over for Kermit, I could hear slight difference and it bothered me. 😔)
I’m locked out of my game. It will not load past the intro screen. The donut just stop spinning. How can I get back in since I cannot uninstall and reinstall?

As Tapped Out nears its end, I am reminded of a quote not very many of you will know.
“Don’t forget… I’m with you in the dark…”
Even if we can’t see our towns, they’ll always be somewhere, on a file, somewhere hidden in ea’s massive servers. That’s why I’m not nuking… nuking our towns really does destroy them forever. Mine will always be there, even if I can’t see it.
I miss the autumn leaves season in my Springfield. Still hoping for snow. Did those changes need updates to kick in? If no more updates, no seasonal changes?
Yes, usually they required a huge update as every item needed a new snow covered image.
More than likely, not going to get snow.

No, please don’t! I want to do some heavy-duty construction in my town once I’m back home from taking care of my mom and it’s much harder to see the grids when there’s snow.

Haven’t visited my game in a while. Got all the new-for-me stuff, still have so, so many donuts and cash but don’t want/need more. Feels empty playing now. Guess it’s time to say goodbye, and thanks for all the fish.

EA should give us bonus characters and quests for being loyal subscribers to this game. I got an email with 11 years of anniversary badges recently….WTH? Who cares about badges when we’ve subscribed and spent time and energy building up our Springfields over the last 12 years only to have them taken away without any explanation really, as to why. This is how he treats their loyal subscribers then I want nothing more to do with them, and I don’t want to say where they can put their badges. #nothappy, #Iwantmymoneyback!

Seems once you have all the character collection completed.. there isn’t any more Parts. to collect from.. I am only seeing Parts 1 to 5.
