It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Been playing for over seven years. Only gane that I’ve stuck with that long. It is just the best for low key entertainment. Farewell fellow Springfielders. I wish you many happy adventures in your next game.

Just wanted to say a quick hello and goodbye to this amazing community. I’ve been playing tsto and reading this blog for 12 years and never ever posted here! I just wanted to finally say hello and goodbye to my erstwhile neighboreenos graytwinkl93, skdomerese512, rbrisk57, I’ve enjoyed visiting you and looking at your towns for many years. I’m really struck by the number of commenters here who say how this game helped them through the death of a loved one, or a long hospital stay, or some other difficult period in their life. That’s got to be something unique for a “simple” tapping game, I think. Thanks also to Alissa and Safi for all their hard work keeping this site going and making it such a great resource and community. I’m really sad that the game is ending and I’m looking forward to what comes next! Yours forever in donuts, dakekeda
I tried logging in today and got the “switching servers off..” message a couple of times before I actually got in, decided to stream the final part on stream tomorrow night. 🙂
I certainly have no inside information on why the game is going away, but it. Is either the shiny new penny syndrome or pure corporate greed. All of the annoying slots and solitaire games are blah! Finally Boooooooo! EA Boooo!
Last 6 days…. released all my characters and no more tap, collect repeat….. put some of my characters on favorite visual tasks, bikes, skateboards, rock stages playing, moes express…….. visiting all my neighbours although not many left still playing, Debbie your a star and long time playing and visitor to my Springfield….. tsto addicts…big thanks for your dedication and endless information and help over the years..see you all at the end.
