Several positions were started back when they first announced the end of the game, but to no avail. I think we’re just going to have to accept that it’s over.
i achieved 1,306,229 donuts ..attempted to uess the top as for money earnt top 429,496,7295… my last tapped actios were at 4:30 pm CST.. when tried at 5:00 pm CST the server message now is present… Curiosly the background audio was audible when trying to connect…

Now I wish I hadn’t left the sounds off in the settings – no way to get in and turn ’em back on and I can see me loading the splashscreen a few times yet just for the heck of it

It was a sharp cutoff at 5pm CST for me. I had checked this morning and saw like 7 hours left on the Taps menus, and figured it’d be a hard cut off at 5PM. I was trying to collect last bit of money from tasks and do my nuke send off, but it was surprisingly quick. I was hoping it’d be like the Nintendo servers and be once you log off type of thing, but was kicked as the hour passed by and just seeing the retry message.
This is sooo sad. I cannot articulate gracefully how I feel about being denied the ability to keep our town’s active for our own enjoyment. EA has let down hundreds of thousands of people. I personally will never invest $$$ in any of their apps or platforms.
As I understand it the game makers told EA the game was ending the same day they told us.
I’d like to believe that the game data on device could be accessed in build mode because i don’t think changes are uploaded until returning to play mode. If we could play only in build mode that would be enough to capture the final designs. Where should I share my final designs? I took 500 screen shots to stitch and share, and both official forums have been eradicated
The EA TSTO Forums went offline about 12 hours ago.
I’d been away and went for a catch up earlier, so dunno if there was a warning up on those.
I left mine like it was mainly because I was too lazy to rearrange and I want it stay like I had it in my memory for however long that is.
I am so bummed. I thought i had the entire day of the 24th. They lied. At 5pm EST it cut off. I just finished my huge Flaming Guy Festival and my Shelbyville design. If i had just four more hours as they STATED, I’d have gotten it done and captured it all at full resolution. I didn’t even get a final portrait at low res. Why didn’t they announce at 0 UTC?? All of my new area designs were lost. I finally got to acceptance of the game ending, i could have retired happily if i was allowed to finish and record it. Nope; one last gut punch from EA. SO MUCH THANKS AND APPRECIATION TO YOU FOLKS AT ADDICTS. I love you all and will miss you. I took 500 screen shots of the original land zone so o can stitch and share that. But the newer designs are lost forever. I cannot express my sadness and disappointment enough.

It’s interesting that the game groups stuff in the inventory….I wonder how good a job it does off figuring out what belongs together in a group?
