Quick Check In & the Little Addicts Request for Help From Around The World

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s been a while, so I just wanted to pop in and check in with all of you. I hope everyone is doing well, staying safe, and finding little moments of happiness wherever you can. I still think about this amazing community often and all the friendships we’ve built over the years—it truly means more to me than words can say.

Life on my end has been busy (as it always seems to be!), but full of love, laughter, and lots of family time. The kids are growing way too fast, keeping me on my toes, and reminding me every day what really matters most.

Riley continues to dance 5 days a week, and is finding so much success on the competition team! Her first year with a solo, and she’s placed first in both competitions they’ve done so far. She’s dancing to “Spoonful of Sugar”, and it’s definitely the right song for her! She won a special Judge’s award at her last comp for “Lights Up the Stage,” and I couldn’t agree more! The girl has found her passion, and I couldn’t be prouder of her!

Sammy continues to play soccer, he absolutely loves being Goalie! (even if it makes me a nervous wreck every game!)  So far this season (4 games), he hasn’t been scored on yet, so I think he’s found his calling! Last game, he came out of the goal and even scored his first goal!  In addition to soccer, baseball season is in full swing, and I’ll tell you now that he wears glasses (and can actually see the ball), the kid can hit! Love watching ALL of his games, and how excited he gets!

And then there’s Teddy, who likes to keep me on my toes! Never know what that little boy is going to get into next, that’s for sure! That third kid, man, that’s the one that’ll give you gray hairs for sure! He has started T-Ball, and he LOVES it! His first game is tonight, and I can’t wait to watch him play!

(And if you want more updates on the kiddos, you’re always welcome to follow me on Instagram @AddictsAlissa)

I did want to share something close to my heart. The kids are currently working on a fundraiser, and they’ve set a pretty big goal for themselves—they’re trying to get at least one donation from every state and even from all around the world!

If you feel inclined and are able to help, even just a few dollars would mean so much—not just for the donation itself, but for helping them reach people far and wide and see how connected this world really is.

Every little bit helps, and truly, it’s all appreciated more than you know.

As always, thank you for being such an incredible community. I miss you all and hope to hear how everyone’s doing—so feel free to check in below!

All my best,
Alissa
