Friendship Level 10: Unlocking Marge Tetherball

Oh hey there… how you doing today? Just singing one of my favorite songs about friends, don’t mind me. So… how’s life? Winding down the Clone Wars and Level 44? Racking up those FP’s by visiting your neighbors? Just a reminder, remember to help out your fellow neighbors and clear those handshakes! Are you in need of more Tapping Friends? Remember you can always find friends on our Add Friends Page (and here for ones who pledge not to vandalize you)…the best (and only way) to submit your Add Me requests on TSTO Addicts!

So with the Level 44 update, EA also gave us the 10th Social Currency Event Prize…the Marge Tetherball! A new decoration for your Springfield! So now my friends let’s break down this 10th prize.

The Marge Tetherball is unlocked once you’ve unlocked KBBL AND earned an additional 4,000 FP…so many of you should be unlocking it sometime in the next few days (depending on how many friends you have) or you should have it already. So what happens when you unlock this decoration? Does it do anything? What about a questline? Well let’s answer all of your questions by taking a closer look at it.

Level 44 came in the midst of our clone war shenanigans and inserted lots of new stuff into our padular game. Besides new characters, buildings and decorations, we also got new friendship prizes (woo hoo for friends!). I thought it’d be fun to take a look at the first and 10th… the Marge Tetherball.

TSTO Addicts Remember: September 11th, 2001

First let me start this with a little disclaimer. I know this is a blog about The Simpsons Tapped Out and I also know that this is a blog read by more than just Americans. However, all of the Addicts writers are from America and we feel as though it just wouldn’t be right to let today pass with out something. This post will remain our top post until after the moments of silence, and we will return to our regular TSTO posts shortly after. Thank you for your understanding and respect.

Today is September 11^th 2014, the 13^th anniversary of the attacks on America, where 2,977 innocent people were killed while just going about their every day lives. Today the Addicts writers would like to take a moment to honor all those innocent lives that were lost in New York City, Shanksville PA, and Washington DC.

I ask you, the readers of this blog, to take a moment today to reflect on that day and honor those who lost their lives.

On a personal note, 9-11 has never been easy for me. Growing up as close to NYC as I did I had many family members that would travel in and out of the city for work on a daily basis. Including one, my aunt, who worked in the North Tower. Continue reading →
