Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

November 6th and it’s still Halloween in Springfield! By now the squirrels have eaten most of the pumpkins, and most folks are trying to figure out how to fit their family around the Thanksgiving table. While remembering to keep separate those who voted for Quimby and those who wanna throw Quimby in the Springfield Tire Fire.

Anyway…so it’s still Halloween in Springfield. Now that we’re onto Act 3, will Kodos and Kang prevail in their plan to take over Springfield? We’ll have to read the dialogue to find out…

For Act 3 we’re tasked with collecting Lost Souls! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the third part of the Halloween story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Week 1 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Once Bitten and Twice Die…

THOH XXX Week 3 Is Live!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s Wednesday..and that means time for a new week of Halloween to start in Springfield! (Note a slight time change with this week, as EA didn’t account for Daylight savings time ending in the files…hopefully after Halloween ends it’ll go back to normal)

Also, important…seeing lots of reports that you guys are missing your neighbors. They’ll come back, so don’t panic. Just a server glitch. Give it some time and they’ll come back. (mine are still there)

Things kick off for week 3 with some dialogue between Zia and Marge (among others)…

Marge: I don’t want to be a bother but can we have some water? It’s so hot being captured and housed in these mines.
Zia Simpson: Sorry, Grandma. I didn’t know my stable of monsters would take over Springfield and you.
Marge: Destroying Springfield is bad. But worse… could you stop calling me Grandma?!
Frankensteins Monster: *thrusts a flaming torch*
Bart: I thought Frankensteins were afraid of fire.
Frankensteins Monster: Frankenstein work through his fire issues.

This triggers the week 3 questline, Once Bitten, Twice Die, and is followed by a 8hr tasks for Kang, Kodos and Zia, as well as a task to collect Week 3 Currency (50). Once Bitten, Twice Die is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of the Week 3 prizes.
