Here at Addicts we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of TSTO a few months ago, as we went off the original App Store launch day…but today EA’s celebrating the 10th anniversary of the re-released of TSTO to the app store. This makes sense, because originally it was only in the store for a hot minute. BUT…let’s all be thrilled EA remembered and they’re celebrating it!
Anyway…when you log into your game you’ll get some fun and an even neater decoration. Let’s break it down…

Act 4 of this Event ushered in two new premium characters. One to help with the event, and the other as part of a Gil “deal”.

Anywho, who had mini-event release on Friday for the win? It is 2020. The year where nothing seems to make sense. And it’s peek 2020 that EA would release a mini-event on a Friday afternoon. Especially one that, according to the game files, was supposed to be released on Wednesday. That’s 2020 for you…
So to get started on this mini-event you’ll need to download the update in the app store. This update will remove the Game of Games 2 Splash Screen from your game, and bring in the Summer Games 2020 files.
Basement, eh… 🤔
Once you’ve downloaded the newest update you should see the dialogue launch right up for this mini-event. (Quimby kicks off the dialogue)
Note: You will need to be, at least, on Level 15 for this to start.

Holyfreakinshirt! What day is it anyway? I know I’ve complained about this before, during this “interesting new version of normal.” But dammit…nothing is normal right now…except for TSTO. It is sooooooo normal, that it is making me insane.
There is little doubt that we are stuck in a rut…and the people who are “coming back to the game,” after layoffs of year, or even two (especially those who have been gone less than two years) have GOT to notice. If you are paying attention, you will notice that almost nothing has changed in format in months, and months and months. This isn’t a new observation…but, it really is like seeing an “Under Construction” sign on a new building…leaving for a year or two, and coming back to see that only the sign has been repainted.
And I’ve had enough. I’m going to get answers. I’m going to call “EA Bob” and find out what the hell is going on, (besides very little.)

Just a friendly reminder that TOMORROW morning, May 5th, Act 4 of the Simpsons Wrestling Event will be starting. The official start time is 10am ET.
The Acts 1-3 questlines won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Act 4 starts.
Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Act 4 to start…
During Act 4 we’ll reach the exciting conclusion of the Wrestling Event, and see if Bart can save Springfield! Of course, you’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but the same characters used for all the Act currency tasks should be used for the Act 4 currency tasks, including a brand new one for Act 4! So we’re looking at: Homer

You’ll also need Burns and Dr. Bonebreak free for the initial questline objective…
There will also be one new premium character combo introduced during Act 4, and that character will be able to help with the currency earning for Act 4. (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the combo)
