November 6th and it’s still Halloween in Springfield! By now the squirrels have eaten most of the pumpkins, and most folks are trying to figure out how to fit their family around the Thanksgiving table. While remembering to keep separate those who voted for Quimby and those who wanna throw Quimby in the Springfield Tire Fire.
Anyway…so it’s still Halloween in Springfield. Now that we’re onto Act 3, will Kodos and Kang prevail in their plan to take over Springfield? We’ll have to read the dialogue to find out…
For Act 3 we’re tasked with collecting Lost Souls! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the third part of the Halloween story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Week 1 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Once Bitten and Twice Die…
How are all you Trick or Treatereenos doing? Getting lots of lil bags of goodies from the kids? Liking the new list of items that were brought back into the game? Wondering where they came from? Well I am back again to bring you MORE…AGAIN!
The very first GOO Item you earn in the Halloween Event is the Pumpkin House. At 100 GOO just about everyone should have the item by now. What I want to know is where you put it and what you’ve done with it?
Here’s a few that we saw:
Here’s mine from my “B” game As you can see I basically just put it down while I work through the update. Eventually it’ll look a little nicer 🙂
Looking decorated as always!
And here’s one from one of my neighbors I thought looked cool:
How’s every one enjoying their Event so far? That good, huh? What do you mean there’s an unhappy tapper you saw on some forum somewhere? Well, if I’ve learned anything swinging through the forests of Kashyyyk, you can’t please every one all the time, but the threat of ripping arms out of sockets does wonders for fake smiles.
Anywho, just wanted to pop in real quick with some info on the very first prize that comes from collecting GOO. The pumpkin house shows up at 100 GOO (which comes pretty quick actually). This interesting building comes from Treehouse of Horror XI, Scary Tales Can Come True.
As you’re collecting your GOO you’ll start to reach those prize milestones. So far the first two prizes unlock “mini-quests” (woohoo free prizes AND free quests!). Since they’re both pretty simple and quick I’ve decided to combine the two!
