10/29 Mini-In Game Update

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

A little mini update just hit our tapping devices…

So what changed?  What’s new?  Details below the fold…Homer will have some dialogue with this..

First thing many of you will notice is the Bonus Level Up option will appear once you get into your game…Woo-hoo free donuts!

I think this only applies to those on Level 46…BUT if you’re lower than 46 and see this please let us know.

Another HUGE change that everyone will love is the XP requirement for the bonus level has dropped…significantly!   It’s now at 612,960 xp…MUCH easier to obtain those free donuts now!

The first time around to get free donuts is around 510,000xp.

As far as the bonus donuts go…this is where it’s getting confusing.  If you earned a TON of XP when Level 46 dropped to now…EA’s making up for that with Bonus Level Ups!  So if you see multiple Bonus Level Ups! it’s because you’ve maxed out multiple times.

If you DON’T see it…it means you haven’t yet maxed out.

Next you’ll see a popup about a new premium item you can purchase for a limited-time:

You’ll find the ship in your store for purchase for 250 donuts!

The pirate ship will actually float in the air so you’ll only need to have the anchor on land.  This can only go in Springfield and on Squidport…no water for this ghostly vessel!

It will also earn you $135, 15xp/ 4hrs.

Airship does come with a questline…that you will see started when you launch the game (a teaser if you will).  However, you must buy the airship to  continue it.  Until then you’ll still see the Pirate Flag in your task bar…until the 2nd when it’s gone.

Note: It’s possible it was a glitch with my A game.  I checked out the size of the ship and then canceled out the transaction & that’s when Homer popped up with the dialogue.  However, I didn’t purchase the ship….so it could just be something that happens when you make the purchase and my game glitched out because I canceled it.  So this could be why some of you aren’t seeing the dialogue. 

Homer: Oooh, the ghosts from last year are back! They were so fun to squish!  Squish, splat squash!  Hee-hee! 
Airship: We seek vengeance on them which squished us last Halloween.
Homer: Oh. I think that might have been my son.
Flanders: Homer, let me take care of this.
Homer: Yes!  Get ’em Flanders!  Exorcise the poop out of them! Finally your bible thumping gobbledy-gook will be put to good use.
Flanders: Well first of all, Homer, it’s not gobbledy-gook and secondly…
Devil Flanders: You forget I have a dark side.
Homer: *SHRIEK* DEVIL FLANDERS! So Scary!  So out of character!
AirShip: Good lord!  It’s the Price of Darkness, El Diablo!  The king of Fallen Angels!  Mephistopheles himself!
Devil Flanders: Prepare to meet thy maker! Who, by the way, is me. I’m going to tear you plank from plank!
AirShip: Wait!  I invoke the pirate code of parley! You must guarantee my safety while we discuss the terms of my surrender.
Devil Flanders: You do get that I’m the devil, right?  Not really into “codes” but whatever, let’s go.

They’ve also now added bulk premium purchases for Bronze and Silver treat bags…

So that looks like everything from this little update!
