Phase 3 of Turkey Day is now active…as you may have seen when you finished the first part of the Thanksgiving Questline this pops up:
And well…today is Tuesday November 25th…so what’s in store today?
Sacagawea Lisa gets things started today…
Today there’s a short 10 minute task with Homer & a longer 8hr task with Sacagawea Lisa.
And that’s it for today! (yes, that’s really it)

Remember…there’s 1 task released each day. Some task award a “reward-a-roony” while others are just tasks. So far no prizes have been awarded, but stay tuned tomorrow to see what’s in store for us then!

Yeah just got the festival table!
I would like it better if they tied these tasks together with some little blurb like come back for tomorrow’s task.
I love the daily tasks, it gives me something new to look forward to each day and leaves me wondering what’s in store at the end! And since they are not all-consuming I can keep up with the rest of the tasks that need to be done.

I for one am enjoying this just being a mini event. With the Clash of Clans and then Halloween, I had neglected a lot in my life outside Tapped out. Of course the addict that I am I’m still in there many times a day, but it is nice to have a little reprieve before, what I hope to be a great Christmas event begins.
Mine isn’t auto starting. I deleted and reinstalled the game to no avail. Help please!

Kind of an different thing with the one quest per day, but it seems like an okay way to stretch out Thanksgiving without having a full event. The odd thing is that it basically removes any incentive to speed up the quests with donuts since even doing so you still have to wait until the next day for the next part.
I’m not really impressed with this event yet. Phase one was good and I do like Puritan Flanders, but this slow phase 2 roll out leaving me feeling like I’ve missed something. I guess it’s good to allow people to prep for Thanksgiving or shop or work or whatever, but I could really forget to check if it wasn’t for this site. It doesn’t feel like an “event”.
That is because it isn’t an event. More just a mini update. Events usually run at least a month and are quite involved. This is just a simple thing they only run for a week. Similar to 4th of July.
Never got to put Homer in the basement yesterday, and haven’t seen anything yet today either with 10 minute task for Homer or 8 hr task for Lisa — Not sure what I missed since I git the popup telling me to wait until Monday 24th – Guess I am out of luck finishing the Turkey Day Quest.
Follow up to my previous comment — I uninstalled Tapped Out from my device and cleared the cache – Then re-installed – Now my Thanksgiving Quest has resumed. Tap On.
Would someone please explain to me why I decided to put Homer on his “Suffer Ironic Punishment” task last night please? Putting Lisa on her 24hr task to care for turkeys is bad enough but what was I thinking!
What is the most common tap people have done and then instantly regretted doing I wonder?
I did actually have a relevant question too. Considering I will start today’s dialogue with Lisa today but maybe not start the task, I’m assuming it shouldn’t stop me completing the task the next day and continuing with the event?

As far as we can see, as long as you complete the dialog you are good. I am intentionally not tapping in one of the games to test this theory out, but not going to finish it til Thursday to see what happens.
You can put the “torture machine” in your inventory, that throws Homer off and ends the task
You can release Homer from his ironic punishment by storing the donut torture machine …
Of course I can, D’oh! Hadn’t thought of that. Still need to wait for Lisa but that finishes soon – thanks both.

Halloween 2014 was fun (thanks to all my neighbors for participating)
Thanksgiving 2014 (very under whelming compared to 2013, Puritan Flanders is amusing, mini tasks daily not rewarding in my opinion, I will conclude with an opinion once thanksgiving quests are over)
Christmas 2014 (next to Valentines, Easter, Halloween … Christmas has also been a fun quest time and I hope this year makes up for the ‘meh’ thanksgiving so far)

I hate the 10 minute tasks. Too short to leave and come back, too long to just sit and wait it out (well get other characters going on their tasks and wait for the time to run out. Watched pot and all that).
So far as a newbie (I came on board a week or so before the end of the event just before the Halloween one.) I haven’t been that disappointed. I am a little put off by having to raise thousands of dollars to purchase buildings (which takes a day or two) then spend another day (or day and a half) just waiting for the building to build. So having a slow task line doesn’t seem that abnormal.
I like this! They should make an advent calendar. Each day until Christmas you will have to finish a task each task rewards a small prize. Like an item, cash something else…
One new task every day – it is starting to be a bit disappointing…
If you have a pumpkin house or a bad dream house, be sure to look at them when Homer is crying. They are animated!
I didn’t notice that. I wonder if Homer can be sent on the crying task again after the quest. He’s busy now so I’ll have to check later.
Nothing at all released for me yesterday. I do 60 minute jobs with the characters all day every day.
We have only seen dialog so far.

Wow, this event is incredibly slow. Boring even. Hopefully the prizes will be exciting. I’m just looking forward to playing my first Christmas event.
It’s a mini event. It’s not meant to be as action packed as Halloween or Christmas.
Reminds me of the stonecutters daily riddles but less brain scratching. Hopefully we get some donuts for the freemium players and a 50% off sale for premiums…I know unlikely but I can dream right?
So far the short little tasks are just annoying me since there’s no picking out and it’s barely advancing the storyline I thought we were supposed to get the outdoor festival table today I’m still waiting for that show up in my game to unlock the job for Sheraton Flanders attend an outdoor peace festival
Did you see the outdoor table posted on Addicts? You should know by now…we only post what we verify in the game, if you see it elsewhere and not here there’s usually a reason why 😉

Well this has been really lackluster so far. I was really expecting something cool, like limited time decorations at the very least (and not those tired parade balloons they brought back from last year) or even some cool premium items or characters. Let’s hope they pick it up or this is going to be quite a wash.

Yep saw that in someone’s town already, not sure how they got it(rolls eyes) but they got it. I had to search that one on the ol oogle machine it see what the heck it was.
