FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

I can’t seem to get to Level 2. I don’t see anyway to collect corn. I am way behind on this drop. Any help much appreciated.

My first, one as well, was 4 hrs. I’m on a 2 hour task now.
(I did finish all my tasks yesterday…..barely.)
So just the first one was off so far, instead of a 1hr, you got a 4. But the rest of the day should match up.
I’m gonna have to see if mine match up tomorrow, but today I’m starting with the 4 hr. “Youngster Clean Brown House” task.

I finished All my quests yesterday by 3pm. I have not been behind yet at all. This morning, I slept in a couple hours, and log in to see my First quest is also 4 Hours long! yikes!
How do I collect corn in tapped out? I cant see how to fet it at all !!!!!

I missed clearing the final task last night before I went to sleep. When I woke this morning and cleared the thumb, it became my first complete task for the day and immediately took me to the second task, which is 2 hours. So does that mean that, if you have a leftover task from the day before, it takes the place of whatever the first task was supposed to be? I had previously assumed that all tasks were shifted down, not replaced.
Yup you just jumped to task number 2.
Strange that mine started off this morning with a 4 hr task: send a saint to clean up the brown house this morning.

I’ve completed all of the tasks, every day. We shall see how it goes the rest of the day. I finished all of yesterday’s tasks, for a total of 16 hours, yesterday. Insomnia helps with that.
Once again my tasks seem to be different…I just sent a youngster to clean the brown house (4hours). Not sure it matters but I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing anything different from what is posted here.
Good morning everyone, talked to ea about visiting my neighbors. They couldn’t find any problems. Then I visited my neighbors and DID NOT get booted out. Hopefully that will last. So far this morning my tasks were a 4hr then a 2 hr….hope that helps ..good luck
Hello, the daily tasks are starting at 12am/midnight which makes it impossible to ever finish them. I remember during the Christmas event, they started at 5pm, which was very convenient, and I never had trouble finishing because I could sleep through the longer tasks, and finish up the next day. Is there any way to change when the day starts in the game?

Agreed, the total time for my 4 tasks yesterday was 16 hours. Despite starting the first quest at 1am before I went to sleep, I was unable to finish the final quest having just needed an extra half an hour. Unless I am constantly monitoring my phone and able to switch over to the next task the moment one finishes, it is difficult to complete all 4 tasks.
That being said, today I was able to finish the 4 tasks that took 8 hours to run through in total.
Hm I started yesterday’s at 630am when I woke up and was able to have it all finished by 1130 last night. Just depends on how often you can get in to your game.
I did not complete the last 6 hour quest yesterday so I just finished it this morning. My first quest today was a 4 hour one so I’m curious if it skipped ahead or what I will get next.
Thanks for making this event a little easier to understand. This part is so much like Stonecutters or Christmas but the rest is a bit much for me.
You should still see the 2hr task after that, the rest of the day should match up

Hey, this morning when i logged in and did some tapping, I got enough spades for the old Simpson house farm/house, yayyy! But for some reason every time i go back in, it gives me another one, I’ve got three currently building atm, not complaining in the slightest but just thought I’d let you know about this little glitch!!
Others are seeing this glitch as well, not sure why it’s happening though.
Can you tell me what is the point of saving up 15000 bags of fertiliser to get the Springfield Farmers Market. Does the market get you anything? I think I’d rather spend my fertiliser on cane fields to go with my Simpsons farm.
You can spend it on anything you want, the farmer’s market is just a long term goal (like Zenith Times during Superheros) won’t impact progress in the event.
Do you know if spades will carry over that I’ve accumulated towards act 2 or will i be effectively starting from scratch in the upgrade of the research building? Thanks for all your hard work on this site- appreciate it!😊
Once you start the Act 2 prize track you’ll be given a different currency (like events in the past).

I was ever so annoyed as my tasks yesterday were 4, 4, 6 and I missed the last two as fell asleep. I don’t think it’s fair of EA to make it almost impossible to complete everyday! I mean 16+ hours…REALLY!? However, it did roll over so when I got up this morning task one for today was already completed.

Odd. Yesterday had too many long tasks, which between it being a working day and losing seven hours before I even started (by being asleep), was a real struggle to achieve.
But with last night being Friday I stayed up to kick off my first job after midnight, and today being Saturday I can really stay on top of the tasks. But they give us another set of short achievable tasks! Seems a bit backward to me.
So, let’s say you don’t complete *two* of the tasks for the day. Does that mean you’ll basically have a total of 6 tasks that you’ll have to complete for the following day in order to be caught up? I’m already pretty far behind on this event since I started late, but if I’m gonna have to be working my arse off just to get caught up, I will probably just bag the whole thing. Something like this happened to me with the Christmas Event and it seemed like it took quite awhile to get caught up. The last task I just started was “Send Celebrity to Sleep in the Simpson’s Basement” or something like that and it was a 6-hr task. It looks that’s the last task of 4/17, so hopefully “tomorrow’s” tasks, which I will start here in about 15 min. will match those listed here. [emoticon for crossed fingers]
Usually the first one the next day just skips and it goes back to on track with the rest of that day.
Hi, i noticed the update a little late, so im about 1 day behind. But I’m reading all Your posts and going forward:). I have one question, probably You wrote about it in older posts but there are so many of it and it’s easier to just ask what to do. Right now I’m just upgrading Monsarno and I don’t have spare fertilizer, will I be able to craft those items (fair etc.) in time? My Monsarno is at lvl 4, I started visiting friends yesterday. I like the daily tasks but yesterday we had a 16 hour total so start at 6am a and finjshby10 pmanx hope work life doesn’t get in the way and then at the weekend we have a 8 hour task……I know not everyone works Monr to Fri however my best is the midnight crossover EA why not make it 8am give us a chance to finish the tasks

Can’t speak for others but 8 am would really complicate it for me.
Normally I’m still awake at midnight so I start the first task before sleeping, tap it and start the second when I wake, start the third during my lunch break, and the fourth when I get home from work. I just make sure to collect it before midnight.
So, I understand that the tasks vary for every player, but I think I missed something because I’m trying to understand why. Mine have been almost random, but most start with a 1 hour task, then another, then 2 hours, then 4. Still, I started today’s task with a 6 hour one.
Did I miss a post? What is the rhyme and/or reason for this?
There’s no rhyme/reason that we’ve found so far to it.
I think I’m a day behind. Started with a 4hr task, my start yesterday was a 1hr.
But, I’ve found that getting at least one in at midnight, almost guarantees I’ll get the 4 completed.
Out of curiosity (and observation =P), is earning corn more lucrative than fertilizer? At the rate I’m trying to upgrade Monsarno, I dunno if I’ll get to the Springfield Farmer’s Market, the one craftable item I want. Yeah, yeah, the event just started and give it more time, but… I’m still wavery that it’ll be leaving in Act II.
I’m also a few days away from harvesting corn on Cletus’ farm. Will that give me corn or does it have to be the GMO Monsarno patented plant? XD
You’ll just need less corn for various items (and no harvesting corn from cletus’ farm won’t impact your corn count)

My first task is 4 hrs. I started by 12:05 central time and finished all tasks yesterday.
My first task is starting off at 4 hours, so that’s going to be fun. At least I’ll be asleep.
I wonder if it’s going to get to the insanity of the Christmas event with the hours (I would start it when I woke up and try to end it before bed, which made me get about 4 hours of sleep a night trying to get everything.)

Yesterday’s tasks matched up exactly. My second task today was 3 hours.
Oops 2 hours. No idea how I mistyped that.
So 2hrs matches up with today’s second task.
I’ve seen your reply to others and just want to say that as you’ve already noted to others the other 3 dailies seem to be matching up for the rest of the day. Just got my 4hr 3rd task and expect I’ll see a 1 hr after that finishes. I love the work you gals (and guy) do trying to bring order to these events.
