FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

Anyone else get multiples of old simpsons farm? Every time I logged in I got another one lol.
I have 2 of them, and I saw some other posts from people who got multiples. But I’m really jealous of the person who got 2 bags of mutant seeds….
Two days in a row I’ve had the 4th quest done and forgot to login before 12am… I preferred the old way where it reset in the middle of the night.
I feel your pain… Especially when I logged in at 12:02 this morning, ugh! Personally, I liked the event (was it Christmas?) where you had 24 hours from when you started the first task.
I’ve been the same as you every day so far and my first task for the 19th is a 4hr task.
I’m not sure I’ll be awake to tell you what the 2nd one is!

Only contact info is the same as you already used, chat, email or phone support (although they’re closed for the weekend via the phone). The options are given to you when you do a contact us option with EA.

Yesterday I had 4hr, 4hr, 2hr, 6hr. Didn’t finish the last one and when I logged on today it was the final task for the day. It didn’t reset to first task.
1,2,4,1 for me today. Much easier than yesterday! I’m just glad there’s no real penalty for not finishing!
glitches? Sorry off topic, is it just me:
– I can’t place pavement under any of the new buildings
– individual task windows closing before tasks are assigned
Both kinda minor…just wanted to know if it’s just me before I tried the whole uninstall/install routine!
Both have been going around. Although I think the Pavement is intentional
Not being able to place pavement is just downright annoying. Has there been any reason given why they don’t want you to put pavement under any new building from this event? Its like “we(EA) think the Cafeteria looks horrible with pavement under it so we won’t let you do it.”
No reason that we know of..
The Cecil task times in my game have matched those listed in the relevant posts for the last two days. So these posts are proving extremely helpful 🙂
I just realized something which is a nuisance:
To upgrade Monsarno you have to spend fertilizer, but you also need fertilizer to craft items. So we are sort of left with a choice between upgrading or crafting.
Also, is anyone else overflowing with corn? I have 534 corn and only 143 fertilizer, despite the fact that we need more fertilizer than corn for anything.

Basically, work on upgrading Monsarno Research as much as possible first, because that unlocks new ways to earn fertilizer & corn, and improves payouts for older ways.
My corn has been running 2-3x higher than the fertilizer since this started too but today the fertilizer almost caught up.
I had a 6 hour task as my last one yesterday so I wasn’t able to finish it in time. 🙁
Quick question but have you any idea how big the cane field is? Would I need to craft loads to make it actually look like a field or will one do? It’s very difficult to tell from the picture as it’s so small!

No idea yet. Working on a crafting post for next week. Honestly haven’t even gotten into it yet. Too nice of a weekend here (was 80 today…) trying to get our yard in shape for summer 🙂

Yesterday I had 4,4,2,6. 16 hours total was pretty rough. First time I didn’t get it done.
same for me on 17th. i started at midnight and luckely woke up in the middle of the night and could start with the second task (yes i am obsessed with this game 😉 ) morning with the third task and later in the afternoon was able to start with the last task…. hope this wont happen again…
I like/appreciate the “list!” Is been having a difficult time figuring it all out, though I’ve managed to complete all of his tasks thus far.

This is truly weird! I think I can safely assume that I’ll have the same lengths as 1musclepug (4hr,2hr, currently doing another 4, then 1hr) but I actually missed the last task from yesterday so it does not seem to be tied to that… but it still seems like only the first task is variable (either 1hrs or 4hrs) and then the rest all line up… have you figured out the magical missing variable yet Alissa? I mean c’mon, it’s been a whole 24 hours! 😉 *sarcasm*

What is going on with the Friend Points? Are we no longer getting points for Friends who visit us, now that we have to squash mutant vegetables? How do we tell if friends have visited us if they don’t plant a mutant seed in our town? And what is our reward for giving neighboreenos mutant seed blobs?
Right now friend points in your town would be suspended because there’s nothing to clear from your friends. You have no way of knowing who visited you unless they leave you a mutant seed.

Um, not to correct, and I could be wrong, but I swear I’m getting FP by squashing the mutants. Maybe I’m seeing something.
In your town? It’s odd if you’re getting them in YOUR town. But in a neighbor’s town, well that’s how it’s supposed to work.
Ok yeah forgot it works both ways, although I do have the odd neighbor that still taps a building, so get FP that way.

I also had a 4hr task followed by a 2hr task that I’m working on now. I have not missed any tasks on any day so maybe EA is trying to throw us all off by mixing things up? I’ll post my final two tasks later so maybe we all can figure out what’s going on and maybe find a pattern. Every other day my times were the same as posted so today is the first day it’s not matching up. Thanx and have fun.

I finished yesterday’s tasks at about 11:30 last night and started today’s just after midnight. My first task was a four hour task, not 1 hour. Weird. I’m on an iPad, if that makes any difference to anyone.
And, I forgot to mention, I’ve never carried over any tasks. I’ve always finished them by the end of the day.
I’m trying to figure it out myself. My game always matches up perfectly. But my B game started with 4hr as well, but then the rest of the day matched up.
Maybe EA is trying to throw a monkey wrench into the help sites and has added a random element to dictate task length. Or maybe it’s related to how quickly you finish previous days tasks (so if you knocked them out quick, adds a longer time task for a challenge element).
Does the fact that we’re all in different countries have anything to do with it? Like the price for buying some donuts is in English pounds ££££ in my game, but will be dollars $$$$$ for you guys in the U.S.
maybe tasks are generated in some random way and we shouldn’t all expect the same list each day ??
No I don’t think so. Addicts Reader Swiss always matches up with me and we’re in different countries.
Frist two task of the day are 4hr each, I finished all task from yesterday.

I think the task length is random. My first task was 4hrs too, next is 2hr. I finished yesterday’s task.
It’s odd because I have 5 games. 4 of the 5 always match up and 1 is usually off, but only the first task.
Just curious, are you logging into these 4 games on the same device and on a second for the 5th. Another user has reported that all their games match up as well.
I’ve tried it both ways. All the same device, and all different devices. Same results each time.
If so am thinking along the lines that maybe they are using our device ids as seeds to the random number generator to get the daily tasks. If 4 are on the same device, that would explain why the rng gets the same results. Then it’s really really likely it’s just random.
I got a 4 hr task to start today off and I did finish all from yesterday.
My last task yesterday was 6 hours. Am I on the correct day? I had a 4 hour and 2 hour task so far.
So just your first task was off, as the second one today is 2hrs. In my B game my first task was 4hrs, but then for the rest of the day they matched up.
See if task number 2 is 2hrs. For some reason, in some games the first task is 4hrs, but the rest match up as the others.
First task this morning was four hours and second task is two hours. Yesterday tasks were different times also. Could it be that I am only 20th level and just building the town hall?

It could have to do with which characters you have available in your game and task times.
Assuming we missed a task. How do we catch up? Two days in a row with a 4 hour start. Yesterday I had a 4 hour, then a 2 then a 4 then a 1. I have always completed the four tasks.
Not sure, seeing some that aren’t matching up today (just the first task) and then the rest are in line. Gotta do a little more digging
Today is same as yesterday–4hr and now 2 hr.
The only normal day was the first day and even then I didn’t have a 4hr task. It was 1,1,2,2.
I start each day at 6am and come back to visit at the time specified for when its complete.
Could it really be random?

Today, for me, started with a 4-hr task for a Celebrity (protest deregulation-or something like that). My 1st task yesterday was only 1-hr. Thus far I’ve completed all tasks every day. I think you’re right, some of us are running a day behind in tasks. If this is true, then it’s nice to see what tasks you have today so I can think ahead about tomorrow. 😉
Same here. 4 hour task (Brainiac to Clean Up Brown House) and the times matched up yesterday for me. I do not have the Volcano Lair, Springfield Opera House, Super Collider or Aztec Theater. Maybe that’s why I started with a 4 hour task this morning. Just a theory. So far I’ve been able to finish all of the daily tasks before midnight. I was late in getting the update though. I learned about it the night is was available thanks to your post that it had arrived.
I’m pretty sure mine are lining up with yesterday’s tasks. So, I’ll be in for the long haul today. O_o
