FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

Will the “dame of the game” quest disappear with the event? as it’s 12 hours long and I’ll be asleep in 7 hours
It should stay
if the event ends tomorrow, why does my farming license say it’s still available for 9 more days? (I didn’t buy it, so it’s still in my store.)
Could just be a visual glitch. That’s the ONLY thing in the game showing 9 more days…every other timer ends tomorrow morning
I’ve gotten the main three craftables, and got plenty for few other things. But was going to try and push for the Bob sign, yet I’m 800 away 🙁 don’t think I’m going to make it. So do we know this is it, last chance to get it crafted tonight?

This is my first event and I wondering if I should start crafting what I can now or if there are any other updates, DNA giveaways, etc. before we wrap up with the Terwillgers. Thoughts? Prior experiences?
I would start crafting now
I managed to craft the market, GnG, houseboat and three cane fields so reasonably happy. I didn’t want the Decoy and was meh about the Welcome sign. I’m still grinding for the last bit of DNA to get more flower walls – I would have liked to get ten to help with a proper design for the Monsarno buildings once the event ends, but I think I might only end up with eight. Oh well, not a bad haul really!
I was able to craft everything except for the Homer decoy and the cactus patch. I like all the new characters we got from this event but, overall, I thought that there was a too much of an emphasis on crafting. I’m hoping for some downtime now so I can increase my cash flow and get a few more aspirational buildings. I’ve been wanting to get the Fortress of Choclitude for months.
I didn’t get to craft much items, this event was too long and tedious. I am satisfied with my farmer’s market, the gas and go grub, and the items for the opera house. I was more focused on building up my town than on the event.
I got the Gas and Grub also. There’s so much that I can’t even remember it all. 🙂
Decided against the homer decoy in favor of cactus patches, buildings and 2 sets of extra seats. I’m happy with what I’ve got 🙂 So far in events, I managed to get everything and extra’s of some of the items: this time that’s not true, but I feel I’m not the only one.
I like what Alissa said in one of her comments: perhaps in this event we’re not meant to craft everything but just pick and choose what we want and are able to make. It helped me in choosing against the decoy in favor of what I really wanted (as I wouldn’t have been able to get it all). So I’ve got multiple canefields and flower walls and two cactus patches: (looks great with Johnny Fiesta!) as well as the g&g, farmers market, and houseboat.
No decoy or sideshow bob billboard: I liked them ok but not enough for the cost, I guess. DNA was so hard to come by, by the way…
These 16 hours of tasks are a bit painful, however, I’m usually up just past midnight and I can get that first one out of the way. Not today though. I don’t think I will stress over today’s Cecil quests, though.
As a side note, I’m up to my ears in corn (Ha!). And I have a farmer’s market. Why can’t I sell my corn? Come on EA- promote/support the value of farmers markets!
One more thing, I should get my fifth set of free donuts today, and I usually didn’t finish my 4 daily tasks.
I liked this event a lot. I don’t know why everyone is complaining so much. Even though I started late by two days, and I got a job which greatly cut into my tapping time, I still got almost everything the event had to offer. I got all the Monsarno buildings, the Old Simpson Farm, the Opera House, the Farmer’s Market, the Simpson’s House Boat, the Out House Smoke House, the Homer Decoy, which I put in between 7 (soon to be 8) Cain Fields to serve as a moving scarecrow, 3 rakes, and of course 4 new Terwiliger Characters.
This event was not just mindless tapping. You had to think of what you needed, and make choices. Thinking is a good thing to do once in a while.
Thank You so much for EVERYTHING that you did to help out with everyone being able to understand the Terwilligers event, your information was awesome.
I hope everyone is able to observe Memorial Day in their own special way.

Is there anything I need to know about the “levels” of the Opera Houseor other buildings before the event ends? I was too busy and only did the absolute minimum to get all the prizes. I succeeded, crafted only one or two items I cared to get so my levels reached in the buildings are low. I just want to make sure the low levels reached won’t affect my playing later.
YAY!! I am done! No more Cecil tasks for me and now I can progress my game from level 36 and clear some 18-odd tasks. Very happy with my crafting … Managed to get farmer’s market, gas & grub, houseboat, 4 corn, one extra booth, two extra opera seats and 3 Monsarno walls and all of the Terwilliger characters.
My thoughts on the event? I started the game in the first week of April, so being my first event, and not having many characters, it was pretty over-whelming but on reading comments by very avid Tappers, I don’t think I was on my own.

PS: Wookie, I saw a pack of “coloured carrots” in my supermarket today – immediately thought “What the … ?”
Luckily I have what I wanted from the crafting already! I know I won’t make it thru the last task!! Be glad when this is over, but I do like what I’ve crafted:

Side note – it almost seems like squishing clones was as important as the tasks and character tasks. . .
What do we know about the end of the event? Will it force upgrade tomorrow or give us time to finish crafting? Also, the farming license doesn’t expire tomorrow like everything else does, but has 9 extra days on its timer… should I take that to mean we have an extra 9 days to finish up? Can’t decide if I should keep trying to save up for the items I want or just craft whatever I can in case the event currency goes away
So the event ends in less than 24 hours. Should we craft everything now or can we wait a few days? Thanks for all your help throughout this intense event!^^

2,1,4 so far. No way I am going to get enough masks for Homer decoy. Finally crafted the boat last night. Please end this thing & put us out of our misery & let us go back to picking our own tasks.

It’s the last day of tasks and in order to celebrate, they give us 16 hours of tasks… Good, there are timers and some people (like me) don’t sleep past 06:00, so the tasks will be all completed by ca. 22:15. *rollseyes*
I have just read yesterday’s weekly thread. Just to say I am in admiration of fellow tappers who have managed to craft so many items! I have all the items from the tasks but only managed a farmer’s market and a decoy – might manage the smokehouse but that is about it. As ever Bunny’s calendar has been invaluable – thank you 🙂 I have quite enjoyed this event – once I realised I wouldn’t be able to get everything I relaxed and enjoyed squishing Bobs!

Just was wondering if we need to use all of fertilizer & corn etc to craft our prizes Today or if we have a few more days to play to craft more prizes.

The least EA could’ve done on the last day of the event (IF this is the last day) would be to give us short tasks, to be able to finish them all before the day ends! *sigh*
Agreed. And I was up midnight last night, but couldn’t start the first task, because the two characters I could have used to do it were both on tasks and neither of them was associated with a building I could store.
I don’t care about missing out obviously the masks, but I’m sorry for the loss of notes, since I was hoping for another bonuts round (but doubt I’ll get it, because my red box this morning wants to start with a 12-hour task, so I won’t be getting Notre than one red box tax done today, either.
All in all, not the type of final day I was hoping for. 🙁
Good news – I *did* end up making the bonuts round, with a couple of hours of gameplay left to spare! And I really do have the hang of the trick now…have gotten three donuts on the first try in the last four bonut rounds I’ve done. 🙂
So, now I’m debating whether to visit my neighbors late tonight, or whether to use this night as a “time slip adjustment” night… Normally, I’d probably choose the latter, but since I’m stuck having to watch The Bachelorette tonight for two hours, maybe I’ll visit neighbor during the show, just to keep myself amused. 😉
This being the last day, do we have any guesses what will become of Cecil once it’s all over? I hope he gets some tasks of his own so he can do more than just wander around.
Cecil’s picture is in the list with the rest of the Terwilligers. So guessing he becomes a PC.
