Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Springfield Heights expansion has hit Springfield!  And of course you know an all new expansion means all new premium items!  Now I know you may be trying to decide if the Springfield Heights items are worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it!  We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Polo Field House to YOUR Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this martini making club to the rich to YOUR Springfield!

Pros:
-Earns a ton of Real Estate Points when purchased
-One of the rare items from Springfield Heights to earn money/xp
-Goes well with the freemium Polo Field

Cons:
-No questline associated with it
-No character interaction
-No animation

Final Thought:
Premium or Freemium:
In my mind this is a complete pass.  Sure it’s a nice looking building, but for 200 donuts that’s all it is…a building that will sit there.  Sure the Real Estate Boost is nice, but for something that’s just going to sit there “and look pretty” I just don’t see the value in it.  To me this is a pass if you’re freemium or premium.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I will not be getting this one.   Just remember this IS limited-time and will leave the stores on September 22nd.  So if you’re thinking about getting it, or are on the fence, make sure you make up your mind before September 22nd when it’s gone!

What are your thoughts on the Polo Field House?  Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield Heights (or did you already)? Where have you placed it in your town?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I’ve been waiting for polo field and got it as I like attractive buildings – especially after all the dumps offered lately.
My only gripe is the extension playing field costs 200 coffee and coffee is the most precious currency (after precious sprinkles of course) for me…not so much precious as it takes so long to make coffee which is taxed heavily by other currencies…oh well at least it’s free! Thanks EA!

  2. I hope they add new SH prizes at some point… right now there doesn’t seem to be much of a point in continuing to increase real estate value after reaching 1 billion.

  3. Useless 200 donut buildings should at least come with an equally useless skin for Bart…

I first saw the polo field in the “other Springfield” and liked it a lot, had hoped that when they released it it would be for a decent price. No way will I pay such a crazy expensive price. Maybe somewhere down the line EA might bring it back for a more reasonable cost….I can wish.

  5. “freemium polo field”?? what is this? Did I miss something?

  6. I just got an in game update nd there is plato casino for 175 donuts now. Looking forward for ur “should i buy” on it

  10. Wish they would fix current problems before they start another event, gangster update, over 1 million for a car what!!!

  11. Level 58 is in my game now just to let you know

  12. Level 58 just went live!

Fat Tony and The don talking about Uber vs Lyft and getting in on the action

  13. I think level 58 has just hit. I saw Plato’s republic casino being offered with Johnny Tightlips in an early access bubble Also new friend prize: HMO- Hibbert Medical Office Playing on android

  14. Did they leave the rail yard in after the patch? I can no longer get possums from the train stations but I am still able to make track pieces at the railyard.

  15. Are they letting us still build monorail tracks after the event? I can no longer get possums from the train stations but I am still able to make track pieces at the railyard.

  16. Yep – forced update….

  17. I just got level 58 but whoever starts it must be busy in my town.

  18. And there’s Level 58. Yeesh they are pushing these levels out quickly.

  19. Hey, everyone,
    LEVEL 58!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t figure out who kicks off the dialog but there is a casino for donuts and decos for the casino for in game game cash.

  20. I just got an in game update level 58. On Android.

  21. I love the look of this building, but it is just too expensive. I may be able to get the field some day, but for now 200 coffee for the polo field makes it a long way off and the two would really look best together. If this were under 100 donuts I likely would have bought it.

  22. This is a definite pass 4 me! Way to expensive and like Alissa I’m more selective on what I add to my town. I only buy/add items I like as reached the 4500 warning. When I add something I try to take something out usually a house or two. I didn’t get the polo field not a fan of polo so makes no sense to add this expensive unusable item.
Alissa wonder if you r smarter or you have two people thinking inside you now😄 (just kidding, oops no pun intended).

  23. level 58 has arived

  24. Glad I waited to read instead of buying on impulse. as I agree while it does look good it’s way too expensive for what it is and does. Definitely going to be a pass for me now.

  25. Thanks for all the reasons to save my sprinkles! I was tempted but made myself wait for this post 😇

  26. Just curious, Alissa, are you no longer a completist? I read your previous should I buy post for the gold mansion and you stated you would buy it only because you were a completist.

I’m still undecided on this item and the gold mansion. I think they both would look great in SH but wow that’s a lot of donuts. If I had to pick between the two I would go for the gold mansion.

    • Not really. I’ve been a lot smarter with my donut purchases these days…only buying what makes sense to me. I guess you could say I’m getting smarter in my old age 😉

    • The Problem Child

What’s nice about the Gold Mansion is there’s more accessories to go with it: the Gold Pool, the Gold Palms, Gold Plants, Gold Walls, the Money Tree, even Money Mountain.

  27. For some reason I’m seeing this in my Rigelian area

  28. I like the building, and it would look nice in one of the greener parts of my town. But. The price. LOL So in the end, again a complete pass for me.

  29. A polo field house… I saw this in my ‘other Springfield’ early after the S.H. started. Attractive, and I recently built a polo grounds next to my existing ‘horse park’ near my Lisa’s ‘Castle of Equalia’. But too many sprinkles for too little oomph. Love the Old Gray Mare and all things horsey and any sort of animal in my SF, but this is a ‘no’ for me. I would fork over big do-bucks for an actual pony for Lisa!

Just letting you know that I play on andriod and the monorail removal update is being forced now. I was holding off, trying to get as many tennis courts as I could. I believe I ended up with 6. Not too shabby
