Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Up and Atom! Looks like we’ve got ourselves a Super Sequel on our hands! But remember…the Sequel isn’t always better than the original. Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields! This super event hit our devices and it’s full of super inspired decorations, buildings & characters!
This Event is broken up into 3 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Issue. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Issue you’re tasked with collecting Brass Knuckles () to unlock each prize!
The second Issue 1 prize is awarded at 11,500 is Mylar Baggins, because Android’s Dungeon can’t be the only game in town forever…
So let’s take a closer look at this second prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Before we get into Mylar Baggins, you may (or maybe not) have noticed that I did not do a post about the first prize. That’s because the first prize (awarded at 2,850 ) is a pack of 6 Sciencewaters. By now I don’t think we need a detailed explanation about Sciencewater…so i figured a post wasn’t necessary. Just remember Sciencewater can heal your players during battle. 1 Sciencewater heals 2 hearts..but only during battle.
Now onto Mylar Baggins….
Once you’ve collected 11,500 you’ll automatically be awarded Mylar Baggins and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to store or place it in your Springfield immediately, remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it later.
Mylar Baggins does come with a short questline and a short task for Youngsters in Springfield. Here’s a look at what pops up:
Mylar Baggins
Bart: Android’s Dungeon never has the comics I want.
Milhouse: I know! I went there looking for the 1967 limited edition release of the sleeper comic “Ultimate Fallout Boy” and left empty handed!
Bart: It’s sad we don’t have shopping options for our comic addictions.
Build Mylar Baggins- 4hrs
Make Youngsters Checkout Mylar Baggins- x2. 8hrs, Earns $275,70xp Freemium and $420,105xp Premium.
Bart: Well that was a disappointment!
Milhouse: Tell me about it! They didn’t even have the 1984 misprint version of Radioactive Man where they printed him in Charcoal Briquette colors!
Bart: Hmm, this is why people buy their comics and underwear online now!
Completing this quest only awards cash and XP, no extra here.
Here are some quick facts about Mylar Baggins:
Size: 4×6
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10
Build Time: 4hrs
Earns: $150, 13xp/8hrs
What Does it Do?: It’s a building in Springfield…
And there you have it the details behind Mylar Baggins. Not much too it, but now your Springfield can have a little taste of North Haverbrook…
What’s Next?
The Alien– Awarded at 19,000
. This will be the next prize we cover in a rundown post.
So that my friends is the full breakdown of the Second (and first) Issue 1 prize!
What do you think of Mylar Baggins? Were you quick to unlock it? Thoughts on Issue 1? Thinking the sequel is better than the original? Or still like the original better? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
I’m unsure if anyone else uses Mylar Baggins but I know that Milhouse has a permanent 8 hour task here called “Checkout Mylar Baggins” same as the quest.
I have crafted the final large book store item in this issue. So I can keep my trading cards for next issue right? Would they be eaten up?
Save them for issue 2…

Thanks!
It would be nice if event-related quests (and blogs) paid out event currency.
Hello: Is anyone having issue with horrible game crashing? Crashing when visiting neighbors, tapping on City Hall to determine which characters are waiting for a task, searching for criminals in your own town?
Yes my game will close suddenly in game. Happened quite often in this event.
Yes. Most definitely. It happens quite regularly. Messed up my where’s Maggie game.
Sounds like a memory issue with your device. Try making as much room as you can by getting photos off, removing unused apps etc. Also close all other apps before playing. Hope that helps. 🙂
Yea,,,,it’s kinda funny how we grind away to get everything & then months later on to the next big thing . ..& way later it’s like where did I pick that up? Lol,,all part of the fun of being a TSTO addict!!
Nice but 6 months from now in gonna be like “where did that come from? “
There is Super Hero stuff in the window that might refresh your memory..
