Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Mr. Sparkle? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this floating head cleaner to your Springfield…

Final Thought
Premium:
I like Mr. Sparkle. He’s voiced, and it makes me giggle, and he has some amusing visual tasks. 100 Donuts is steep for just a character, but I do think he’s totally worth if for Premium players.
Freemium:
Freemium players I still think Kumiko is the better deal (if you don’t have Kumiko), but I like Mr. Sparkle. It’s a fun character, questline & tasks…plus his voiced. A rarity in TSTO as you all know. So if you passed on Kumiko pick up Mr. Sparkle…
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you as a premium player, I’ve already grabbed him. Just remember this is limited time, and will be leaving our stores soon. Whatever you decide, So be sure to make your final decision before it’s gone from our games for good. (or for now..)

Just bought first big pack of donuts w. Jebediah as missed out on Uter trying to get characters at 2 attempts at Date night box.
Got Uter and 3 shots at box to get 2 of Laura Shauna Brandene Becky and hopefully not Howard’s Flowers or Phineas.

I took a stab and got Brandine as well. Would have been happy with any character but the Spucklers are special!
On a side note..
A minor grumble about the Royal Tokyo hotel.
I bought the flag set (couldn’t pass up the bonus) and put the Japanese flag out in front of the hotel.
The flags on the hotel are flying in the wind in the opposite direction that the flag on the flag pole is flapping.
It’s disconcerting 😯

Freemium player with ~100 donuts. So the question is: Mr. Sparkle or playing the valentine lottery for a character with building?
I personally find Mr Sparkle more enjoyable than Becky or Laura. Not that they’re bad characters, but they don’t float around and sparkle, and neither one is voiced.
I’m the same and went with Mr Sparkle. Happy with my decision! He looks so cool, quite different to the characters already around.
I want Mr. Sparkle, but I also want to spend another 60 donuts on the valentines day gifts. I am hoping for Brandine, so far I got the Aztec and the Der Krazy Kraut. Not sure if I can get 76 donuts though before Mr. Sparkle leaves the game. Oh what to do.

Yup, it is a tough one. I wish I didn’t spend so much on land, if I used that to donut farm, I could probably have done both. Oh well, gotta make a choice quick now.

This event has been the best addition to the game in quite a while, the airport quests are often hilarious and really do not seem like constant grinding.

It was only after a couple tasks-in that I realized he could earn Sky Credits if I stopped doing his quest, and just ran him on manual tasks… So that’s what I’ve been doing. Will finish up the quest after the event.
Love Mr. Sparkle! Bought him immediately without thinking twice and have no regrets.
I was uninterested in him as a character during the bracket battles and only thought … meh. I have since changed my mind. I bought him with no regrets. He makes me laugh (what better reason to spend doughnuts?) and I might have him on his 4-hour cleaning task forever.

Thank you for reminding me that I have one of these….can’t remember for sure which event I got it during (future one, maybe), but I think I’ll take your suggestion and move it from its current location to the Japanese area of my Effcot!

I was skeptical when we first learned he was coming to the game, but I was pleasantly surprised by the execution. I tried to wait for this article, but so many people had good things to say that I pulled the trigger — no regrets.

Don’t forget the “Siezure Robot” is coming up soon during Act 2. Unfortunately I’m doughnut poor so I won’t be able to pick it up.

That would have been preferable over his 8-hr task being tied to the ugmo KTV building.
I’ve sent him on his 8-hour task without the KTV building. He went to the brown house.
I picked him up. Loved his Japanese commentary dialog during the quest line.
I bought Kumiko and Mr. Sparkle because they are both unique and awesome characters. I gladly gave up my pink sprinkles for these two. You never know when they’ll both return again~ 😁

In the story. Full character, voiced and tasks. Like, I was expecting an NPC, but nope. He’s great, plus the quest line accompanying was hilarious.
As unappealing dropping 100 D’s on him is, Mr Sparkle was the most appealing premium item for this event (from what I could glean from wiki anyway). So I did.
Since he has a 12 hr task @ the ad agency(like Lindsey), does he have a spot @ the agency to earn brochures?
I’m almost certain there’s another character with a regular job there and it just pays out cash.
I checked …no task that earns pamphlets…rats! ( he doesn’t actually earn rats, either…now that would be fun…)
