Should I Spend Donuts On Battling Seizure Robot?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Pack your bags and prepare for an invasive screening at the airport because it’s travel time in Springfield! And while our towns are embracing their ever expanding airports, our donut bank is shrinking because there are LOADS of worldly items in our stores just tempting us with those sprinkles!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Battling Seizure Robot to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this seizure inducing cartoon to your Springfield…charactersets_battleseizurerobot

Character: Battling Seizure Robot
Donut Price: 35 Donuts

Leaves Stores February 24th

-Inexpensive NPC
-Animated when tapped

-Not voiced
-Just an NPC (meaning no tasks)
-When you tap he makes your whole screen flash and shake. Honestly, really annoying.

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
It’s reasonably priced, so if you love NPCs go for it.  But honestly, this one is really annoying & gives me a headache (I must be getting old).  So unless you have a thing for NPCs, I’d pass on this one.  They don’t call him a seizure robot for nothing…. (although in this case more a headache)

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do.  And I can tell you as a premium player, I’m passing.  Not a big fan of NPCs, in general, but this one also gave me a crazy headache.  Just remember this is limited time, and will be leaving our stores soon.  Whatever you decide, So be sure to make your final decision before it’s gone from our games for good. (or for now..)

What are your thoughts on the Battling Seizure Robot?  Will you be picking him up or have you already?  Thoughts on what happens when you tap him?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I’m very much into Pokémon Go and Porygon is one of my favorites. Had to get this just for the reference. 😀

  2. got it just because it’s from a great episode & im ok with it wandering around

  3. Bought it at first instance. Saw this episode while high on Shrooms back in the days 🙂 Those flashes expanded out all of the room. Good memories. And a disclaimer FYI from the Netherlands and were legel back then… 😀

  4. NPC? Pass. I used to buy NPCs when I first started playing, but then realized my game slowed down when I had too many wondering around the place, so since then, nearly all of my NPCs sit in storage, and I avoid adding more.

    Thanks for the write-up, though.

  5. I bought it because I wanted all the Japanese stuff.

    regretting it though.
Boring NPC that just walks around.
    No bonus of any sort
    Not even large/giant sized
    Pretty pointless

  6. The only reason I would buy this is if I lived in USA and could push EA Games with a medical report and no seizure warning, so I could extort some premium currency.

    Mmm… premium currency.

  7. Love me some battling robots, but hate seizures. Neutral on NPCs. I’ll probably also pass on this one. Was lucky several weeks ago & got that mutant sprout NPC for free… 45 donuts with a 45 donut rebate. Too bad there’s no rebate here.

  8. It’s weird. I don’t usually buy NPC’s, but for some reason this one seemed worthy. So I got it.

  9. I do not remember buying the robot. He seems to have just shown up.

  10. Nope not interested. Took the name very seriously as I had seizures as a kid, so not taking any chances.

  11. It COULD potentially cause an actual seizure in those of us prone to them to begin with. Went to the 4th Twilight movie with my little sister on a prescreening and there was a sequence that landed me in the hospital. No lie. I wasn’t the only person that happened to in my town that weekend, either. The flashing was at just the right rate to set people off, I guess.

So needless to say I’m taking the NPC name seriously and staying far, far away from this one.

    • on a serious note, i’ve known somebody that had flashing from a movie that put them in hospital with a seizure as well, though on a lighter note anyone who saw not just the 4th twilight movie but any of them, had the potential to end up in hospital & no medicine or operation can give us back the life & time twilight took from us
