Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

After a week off, the Simpsons are back tonight with an all-new episode! Will you be watching? What do you think will happen in the new episode?
Act 3 is in full swing, the final act of Halloween. Lord Montymort is finally on his last leg….what are your thoughts? Enjoying yourself? Ready for it to end? Ready to see what’s next?
ICYMI an all-new episode of Addicts Live aired yesterday. We talked about how TSTO isn’t ending anytime soon, a little more about Halloween and a few teasers about nuking.

My thought on this event .
1) story leaves a lot be desired
2) grind fest
3) WTF we get 5 full characters from complete the lame story
a) maybe as many as 10 if depending on what the do with the beast
b) 13 if you have all the premium best
overall it not the worst
Question what is the current total limit of items one can have in the town without storing something?
I believe it’s up around 10k now
Weird because I keep getting a warning that I’m at 9,300 and the limit is like 7,500. Is everyones different?
No 7.500 is the recommended limit. (for performance) But if you’ve hit the cap you physically cannot place anymore. It’s not a warning, it’s a cap. And that cap is about 10k.
In my store I can buy The Frink Sorcerer Bundle or regular Frink and his lab. I hope no one buys the regular Frink by mistake and miss out on the free skin.
I know it just released… But did anyone get Cat Bus? Is it even worth considering?

I saw it and am waiting on the Should I Buy. Personally, I’m leaning towards a pass. We’ll see if Alissa sways my decision.
I bought it. Short dialogue. 30 donuts per % (better buys available). Tail and head moves a little. Moves back a little when touched (like a cat – back moves up), headlights turn on for a sec. Meows. Nothing special, about the same size as the other bus. Buy if you like the design, otherwise pass.
I bought it. If you know My Neighbor Totoro from Japanese animation, it’s a must buy. It is just a decoration with 1.5% bonus. When you tap it, the lights go on and he does a cat stretch. Would’ve been better as an NPC but I like it. No regrets, may buy it for my other Springfield too.
If he was an NPC I would buy instantly. Just don’t really have anywhere to put him.

Anyone in the same boat as me and have 45 chaise lounges in storage? Ridiculous.
Up to now I’ve got 48 Chaise Lounges and another 48 Dance Platforms cluttering up my inventory.
These repetitive beast decorations are unimaginative, clumsy and aesthetically ugly for the most part.
Mr Clumsy complaining about a decoration he feels is “clumsy”. Now isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black.
I just logged in and got a notification “Sorry the Cauldron is probably not what you wanted, here’s 50 donuts back”. Which was really great, I remember seeing the cauldron in the Halloween costume mystery box (which I have not purchased), and thinking it was not worth it. I wonder if I got this because I purchased all the items in the magical mystery box.

I just bought the film set out of the vault discounted to 90 donuts instead of 120.
But the Mcbain skin hasn’t arrived in my inventory.
Wolfcastle is currently on a task but the skin/costume for Mcbain should still show I think ready to use?
Re. Film set: missing questline
The Mcbain skin was already applied to Wolfcastle however his questline will not activate.
I’ve tried putting him in and out of Storage along with the Film set but the quest still isn’t activating?
Can anyone advise if they’ve also had this problem?

I’ve sent him on the 4 hour task Make McBain Host Up Late With McBain but then afterwards nothing happens.
Sounds like it may be time to give EA a call.
Also, have you tried going to Krustyland and back?

I just received the glitch this morning whereby a whole bunch of old event tasks popped up out of nowhere. The game still kind of works but The vestige pt 3 changed from 2 completed to -1 and the character button on the top left doesn’t work either – everything else plays as normal. I have done a full re-install cleared cache all to no avail. I remember reading somewhere that the only way to fix this is with a rollback. I am expecting a call from EA – hope things get fixed in time to finish the event. I just earned Dracula this morning and I need to finish defeating Montymort and finish crafting…
I had something similar happen to me just after Time Travel ended update. The only solution was EA had to restore my game from a month earlier and then after i took inventory they had to give me back everything i was missing that i earned or bought during that month and was now missing.
Before the update I had 2 1/2 hearts left to complete the next phase of Lord Montymort. After the update I cleared my fighters task to complete that phase but found I still have 6 hearts still remaining to complete that same phase. Well there goes 8 hours of redoing what I had already done. I feel like I am swimming upstream against a very strong current.
Ugh!

I just got an update. Did this fix some of the problems others are reporting?
A couple. Also the cauldron was removed from the box (i think if you won it you’ll get your donuts back at some point). Other changes look like thanksgiving and Christmas prep.

At some point…good answer. I didn’t get any donuts back, but I’m really not complaining. It would’ve been nice if EA wouldn’t have separated them in the first place…How else could I ever get witch Marge???? I would pay 75 donuts for the skin alone.
I was very hopeful that witch marge would be available in this event. Maybe next time around.
Is anyone else having problems opening the event dialogue box, also I got enough event curency to get Slithers but he hasnt appeard in my town.
Is he in your Inventory under characters?
Had that problem with cooling towers/lair but appeared in inventory later once I rebooted game
Got 3 regular Scratch Rs to give 3 red axes during each of the 3 rounds of the event. Wonder if I should have bought a Magic Scratch -R. Hmmm.
Hmm.. I actually got 3 axes twice during this event as well.
Happy tapping, on the final prize after receiving montys lair/new cooling towers, very cool animation, defeated him once but what an absolute grind, 2 to go but really what’s all that about, ?????

My daily challenge hasn’t worked for 2 weeks. It started when Act 3 quest line installed a few days before Act 2 ended. I’ve tried all the usual fixes and did them again per EA’s direction. I have an open ticket with EA help. Has anyone else experienced this? Despite the lack of daily challenges, I’m keeping up with the calendar, but not running ahead.
It’s interesting how we could start collecting Bonuts before completing the prize track in Acts 1 and 2 but we have to continue to battle Lord Montymort long after completing the prize track before getting Bonuts. I just got Dracula in my Springfield in which I have Wiggops and Dragon Burns. I’m not even halfway done with The Vestige Pt. 3. I just got the cooling towers’ skin in my other Springfield. (no items to help collect event currency) I might unlock Montymort at the same time as Dracula. Dracula does look pretty good though. He was always my favorite monster.

I’m curious if after the event the trolls will still only have the 4 hour tasks and I’ll always be stuck getting the same decorations over and over or I just let them roam my town with no purpose and no tasks so I don’t get all the same crap. Ah. I hope they get a task .I’d be good not getting any prize but cash back only.
I think the Trolls, Bullyvern and Treestache(?) will be offered at the end of the event as an NPC package (or maybe 2 different packages) for donuts. Would be nice if we just got to keep them all, but EA Is usually not that generous. Since we already paid for Wiggops and Burns Dragon (was Treestache also for donuts? I can’t remember now) we know they will stay…would be nice if they were full characters, tho, considering their prices.
Treestache was 60 donuts, and also out before the event in a Serfsons ep. tie in as an NPC, so who knows – the SIB from then…

I would of thought we would keep the trolls and beasts since they have unlock screens and come with a decoration (bullyvern with its cave, barfy, crawl and lewd with their bars etc.) maybe with their own set of tasks after the event such as Crawl “Sing karaoke”, Lewd “Read playdude” and Barfy “Eat 12-inch sandwich” at their bars, with a task to earn the decorations (would be great if they can become sellable). I think goblin Dolph and Jimbo would be a premium NPC package similar to the fans and lawyer after Homerpalooza though it would be nice if they had tasks.
On the other hand, during Superheroes 2 we didn’t get to keep the felons after unlocking them during the event and had to spend donuts just to keep them around but only stay at the alley. I hope EA learnt from Superheroes 2 and not do the latter of what I said.
Um… I just tapped what looked like an elf lying in the road. He had an evil laugh and disappeared… Anybody know about this?

I think we got it last Christmas.
Had a family emergency yesterday, and will probably be away from the game – and the Interwebs – for a bit. Not to worry though, it is mainly sitting by someones bedside at the hospital until they are well enough to go home again, nothing to serious.

Been playing TSTO since 2012 and this is by far the most boring event I’ve ever played. Apart from the fact that I’ve already got most of the prizes In my town, I’m sick of getting the same rubbish from sending the trolls out. (I’m not sure what to do with all these pole dancing dolls). I want it to be over so I can delete all the rubbish.
Pretty sure Slithers is my new favourite character! 😀

I noticed in the recent Addicts Live (and other instances) that you referred to your TSTO town as a place you would live. You’ve designed/built/crafted or stored things based on that preference.
I’d like to throw my premise at you, if I may.
TSTO (and The Simpsons) is built around the idea that the characters, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, etc. are all actors on the show, The Simpsons. The whole of Springfield is a set, like most TV shows, amorphous and interchangable. Our TSTO “towns” are merely sets for the actors, rearrangable by the “directors” (identifiable only as usernames). Things don’t necessarily need to make sense in TSTO, as the director calls the shots. The story is all that matters. I may follow up in future posts with stories of my Springfield. I’m also interested in other people’s stories.

Loved tonight’ episode. One I can even get my dad into.
As for the game think I might be falling behind a bit. Only been playing once or twice a day. Been on a Star Trek kick.
I had a wonderful day with my family. My husband fixed our furnace which must have went out when we had a power short in our power line and we didn’t notice until it got cold. Of course today it was 70 F.
My daughter and I learned how to make sausage gravy from scratch together. Man it was good.
I talked to some of my best friends online and just had the best time.
Of course I tapped my game today. I started moving my town around so I can shift things away from the mountains and make some room for some recent event buildings to be added where they go. I collected my KEMs and got to Lord Montymort’s Lair. Things are progressing very well. I cannot wait til the darkened edges are gone, because I want to do a whole town panorama before snow flies in the game.
I also made good progress in my Futurama game. I should have the Robot Devil tomorrow.

Lone Ranger hit the bullseye. this is the worst “event” I have ever played in this game and I’m seriously thinking about kicking the game to the curb.
Anybody else notice that when Arnie Pye flies under your tapping finger while doing his traffic report job via helicopter…you don’t get transported all the way back to channel 6 studio anymore? His helicopter used to annoy me and get in the way constantly..no more!

This is the first time since playing, from the beginning of this game, that I can`t tell if I am playing an event or just tapping to complete regular tasks. Halloween came and went and I am still playing, what, an event? I tap and get ridiculous repeats of meaningless junk and keep wondering if I am in an event or not. I can`t tell. This is the most disjointed and lackluster “event” that is highly anticipated by players that look forward to a time of mobile gaming enjoyment. Holidays come and go and we enjoy and remember those times. This is a Holiday event that came and still remains, and we can`t even tell it is there.
