Today may have missed that you were logged out and, because of that, started a new game. You should be able to log in and get back to your town.

For an episode titled “Grampa Can Ya Hear Me”, I felt Grampa’s was the ‘B’ story and Skinner had the ‘A’ story. Not that I’m complaining though, cause the Skinner parts were better.

Whatever happened to Sunday as a day of rest?
Spent the day getting all the domestic chores done and then my free time tapping.
I have made Sunday mystery box day though.
Go through a couple of complete cycles of the mystery box prizes to drive my bonus up.
Daily KEM farming means I don’t fall short in the events now and starting to build a stash for Thanksgiving and Black Friday
Sounds very smart. A great balance, all around.
I had the best Sunday. After almost 4 early morning hrs at the hockey rink, came home, had a coffee and muffin while tapping, then took a nap, and then spent the afternoon tapping and designing. Of course, I KEM farmed and did all the other little daily chores like railyard, Finding Maggie, etc. It was just lovely. I still love this game and find it so relaxing and enjoyable. Very good use of my life currency. Happy Sunday all.
I had a good day as well, even if it seemed very short. I got up early to take care of my dog and clear my town. But then I took a nap because I stayed up very late hanging out with some of the most awesome people I know. Good times! I didn’t get back up until 10:30 and cooked a great breakfast for my family which we enjoyed at about noon. Cleared my town and kem farm again (15 minutes), then went outside to do some chores and enjoy the beautiful weather. It got dark very early due to the time change, so I went and picked up a pizza for dinner. Came back home and cleared my town again (15 more minutes), and then spent a couple more hours of quality time with the family and thoroughly enjoyed a great Simpson’s episode. Before I go to bed I will clear my town one more time. I had hoped to get the final prize today, but I’m going to be just short, so tomorrow is just fine. I just checked my life currency and everything is in perfect balance. 😀
Love our late night chats, Gene! It’s especially fun like last night when we manage to hit all the time zones and get most of the gang on at the same time.

TSTO related: enjoying Act 3 much more than the others. Missed out on the Magic Shoppe Last Act, but that’s ok. Halloween day was great, in addition to the 10 free donuts, I got 30 from my daily quest Mystery Box! Woohoo!! Also bought Frink, since I didn’t have the Lab, and bought a second Magical Box and got Scary Dock! Not my top choice (would have preferred Maude/Drive in or Skyscraper), but a better value for character/decoration at 170 donuts.
Non TSTO:
Guelph’s been pretty heavy as of late, especially in Bio and “killer” Chem as they call it. Lots of assignments and tests. Plus there’s been the issue of my dad’s car…but life goes on.

Last night I reached Titan league in Clash of Clans. It took determination and strategy and a certain amount of luck. This is what I miss in TSTO, there is nothing left to achieve. Reached level 939, got 2billion Rev, got all friend prizes, built money pile and giant tree. And worst of all none of these were difficult, it just took grinding. Please EA give us something challenging to achieve in the game instead of just grind, grind, grind.
I just completed part 6 of act 3 and Lord Montymort’s Lair is NOWHERE to be found! Am I missing something here or what? And yes I looked through my entire inventory and it is MIA….perhaps it is with the Gypsy Building and Ghost Maude I never got from the mystery box as well! Sick of EA’s glitches and losing stuff!
Lord Montymort’s Lair is a skin for the cooling towers and is part of the prize track. Have you earned it yet?

It is a skin for the nuclear reactor, just check it.
The reactor containment building or the cooling towers.
I tried searching my Decorations inventory and my Buildings inventory, and couldn’t find it at all. But then I went to just the main inventory and it was right there, about 50 items in.
If you don’t see it in the inventory, just try clicking on the cooling towers and see if the skin was already applied, but just not chosen.
Tyvm it was there!! Phew!
UPDATE: Thanks to Safi I found my skin! Melt down is over…all pun intended.

In regards to Maude and the Gypsy Building try looking in the way Safi said because I had the same problem but found it that way. I had to take each one out seperately, hope this helps Good Luck😊
For those who purchased the magic scratcher, how many donuts did you win for your $4.99 purchase? I just tried my luck and came out with 85. I think that is the minimum you can get. A little disappointed, but wondered how others have faired.
The minimum is 60, which is the same value as the scratchr anyways, there were a lot of earlier posts with players saying they got 100 and I hit 3 mallets for 125.
With the SVP deal too I got 245 donuts for the price of 120 and they were soon spent.
If anyone got the jackpot, I’ve not seen such a post.

This update and the past several have proved the point…this game is about 5 chars and that is it. I have over 140 chars roaming my town and only 4 can do anything this update. Why grind for terrible prizes. Let us hope xmas is better and we get to use maybe 8 chars.
A carolling job for multiple characters could be neat.
Because the events are for players of any level they need to give newbies half a chance.
When I started there was a day or three of winter ’15 act 1 left as I finished the training levels and as well as the level up questline was tasked to send kids to pile snow – that’ll be Lisa then – so I still have a lump of snow plonked somewhere.
You’re right, but this event was made to retain new and low level players. Maybe not Simpsons fans as much as gamers (and maybe HPotter fans). It’s a rare “free” ad-free game. Support it and enjoy it.
I hate to say it, but in my household we are actually liking this event and particularly Act 3. We really like the animations and quest line dialogue. OK, we agree the prizes are a bit Meh and killing Montymort three times is on the one hand lame, but it gives you something to do and generates event currency.
In the end, we aren’t harsh critics. The game is fun and a nice diversion. Is everything perfect, nope nothing is. Is my town logical, nope, neither is Springfield. So I say keep bringing it on, don’t take it too seriously and just like the show assume it will have some funny moments, produce some groans and some shows that fall flat. That’s life.
Don’t hate to say it! I love it when people post positive thoughts on this game. Sad that you feel defensive about liking the game that this site is dedicated to. I love every event. Some more than others (I will never forgive the Easter wheel), but this one has been great for me!
I find it annoying that your ads move to its location on the page and play. I can be in the middle of reading a comment or leaving a reply and whoosh I am somewhere else. And the turn off sound is disabled.
I do too. I’ve complained to word press, I’m still waiting for a response. If it makes you feel better it’s not just our site.

So just think of it in that fashion- with out all the flashing lights and second hand cigarette smoke.
Does anyone know a reasonable reason my they won’t allow us to sell loads and loads of unwanted decorations in the game? I’m not sure if I’m even close to the maximum number of item, but I have so many things I don’t want. I can’t figure any reason why hey are making us hold onto things??
Because about five years ago, when the game was still young, people kept complaining that they accidentally sold premium items, or limited time event items. In answer to that, EA prevented the sale of those items.
Patric posed a question while summing up a donut farming experiment that got me thinking. He notes that unlike waiting 4 hours for KEMs, vehicle farming gives instant XP, but wondered about the time taken to make the cash to pay for them.
Using Safi’s “stay within your means” model I placed a bloodmobile and a rat trap truck and noted the actual XP increase based on my town and bonus.
My town yields around $1.2m per day, and I recently started placing 40 KEMs at a time, usually 5 times a day.
I’m still levelling up so it’s still 500,000 XP per donut right now.
Each KEM gives 38040 XP, and 40 has a net cost of $229,627 so 5 sets a day costs $1,148,135 and yields 15 donuts.
The numbers for whole rat trap trucks and donuts don’t work so well for me, but the XP per $ is almost exactly the same, however I could afford 12 bloodmobiles each day, and these give me 251,035 XP each, so 12 would yield only 6 donuts and cost an extra $40k.
So with the collider on for 10 days at a cost of 25 donuts I’d get 125 extra with KEMs or 35 extra with vehicles.
The first 24 KEMs (starting at $220) are the cheapest, therefore you get a better value XP/$ KEM farming. To most wisely use your cash, KEM -24 until you need donuts, you can always farm as many as you want at $14,400. And if you are in a hurry you can buy the rat trucks.
I’ve got $16m+ banked, well up from the $12m as the event started and bought a lot of premium stuff I’d normally look longingly at.
I did spend $13 – £9.98UK – on SVP and a magic stratchr, but without a modest farm there’s a lot I’d miss out on and it makes no real difference to my tapping time.
I should probably clarify the XP per $ comparison I make is between a bloodmobile and a rat trap truck, and the ratio should be the same for any player but I avoid putting a number on it for the same reason I mention below.
The value of XP per $ for a KEM would however vary hugely depending on your bonus and how many you placed at a time, so I won’t even attempt to consider that

It is a home game… With our noise, and Houdini with the ball it will be fun to watch! I really enjoy my Sunday brunch with the uplifting spirit of Pete Carroll and his kids. Cheers and happy Sunday everyone.
It was fun for me to watch but then I come from a family of hardcore Redskins fans.
When I launched my game this morning, something very strange happened :
– a lot of previous events messages pop up (like “it is the end of X event”),
– “Pie Mania” quest for Homer reappeared,
– I had to relaunch the game several times to be able to clear the current beast fighting against Lord Montymort and the current magicians enchanting a beast.
I think it’s a issue with Lord Montymort : I’m in the quest “The Vestige Pt. 3” where you have to fully beat Lord Montymort 3 times. I was about to beat him for the first of these 3 times. He had just one heart remaining but I sent 2 beasts to fight him.
It resulted in having “-1/3” in the quest “The Vestige Pt. 3”, and Lord Montymort still have one heart left. Then I sent just one beast against him, and now the quest is back to “0/3”.
So now I have to beat him 3 times again, and I’m not sure there will be enough time left in the event.
Worse : many common things have broke in my game. For example :
– the tap radius is back to its initial state (I had IRS fully upgraded),
– the upper left icon to directly go to a character (which have finish a mission for example) doesn’t work anymore.
Is anyone having this issue too ?
This is a know issue and the only way to get it fixed is to have EA roll back your town to before the glitch happened. You will lose progress back to that time, so contact them right away. You WILL have to call or chat multiple times before someone will help. Insist on the rollback. If they tell you to wait or go to the forum, they are blowing you off. Insist your problem be upgraded to someone who can do a roll back. Good luck and be persistent.

Completed conquering Montmort and my ability to craft disappeared
Completed the next part and it is back.
Obtained Dracula at the same time and the ability to craft disappeared
Completed sending him to the Bloodmobile and crafting is back.
Supposedly, continuing collecting Goblins leads to Bonuts, but no “Timer” or “Collection Guage” is present. No Worries, mate.
Just letting all be aware of what may (or may not) happen to them.
Now that I’ve completed the Quest Line I can relax.
Later today my schedule is full.
Most of Monday too.
As is Wednesday or Thursday.
Friday, definitely away from the game.
And most/ all Saturday.
And Sunday through the following Saturday is hit and miss.
Hopefully, EA won’t do anything special until AFTER next week, when I shall be back to what passes as my normal self.

I am about halfway through “Road to Riches” but it is a grind indeed!
Just to clarify, Springfield Dam unlocks at 20 Million invested, Mansion Gardens unlocks at 40 Million invested, and Rock and A Hard Place unlocks at 80 Million invested. So in total, you need to spend 140 Million, half of which would be 70 Million. So you are about half way when you’ve unlocked both Springfield Dam and Mansion Garden and have about 12.5% (or about 10 Million) towards Rock and A Hard Place.
I’m over halfway at Mansion Gardens then and close to a third in total. Not working on this except when I notice I have more than $10 million on hand.

So I survived Halloween! Just… Because it is only done here ‘by arrangement’ we only did it yesterday evening. Last year there about 15 kids (& 10 or so parents) but this year there were almost 40 kids! Plus almost 20 parents. While those where Halloween is the norm might have had loads more kids coming past, I challenge you to have almost 60 kids/parents arrive at the same time! & come inside to stay! On Friday I had made an edible ‘eyeball’ for each of the of the kids as they arrived but decided to make another 20+ on Saturday ‘just in case’. So glad i did because there were only just enough to go around 😄
After a week of 30°C+ weather, Saturday was much cooler and it almost rained – for the first time I was NOT doing my rain dance because 60 people inside would have been chaos and a tight squeeze! But even though it was cooler (about 22°C) a lot of the kids had an absolute ball in pool – there was even some water left by the time they were done 😂😂😂
So because of yesterday’s shindig, no garden pottering has happened here today because, after a whole 3 drinks last night I am officially Babalas Barbie! For those of you who don’t speak South African, that means I am Hangover Barbie – I’m obviously a complete amateur these days 😄 However, the dishwasher and the washing machine are doing their thing and once they are done everything will be back to normal 👍😄
About to earn Lord Montymort’s Lair and will defeat him for the 2nd time later this evening or early tomorrow. Then just need to defeat him for the final time and earn Count Dracula and I will be done – apart from crafting and earning bonuts. I have found it useful designing as I go along this time because it has meant I have a better idea of what to craft rather than having to guess what I might need!

Hi MAB…looks like everybody was having a great time👻🎃. We had around 150 trick or treaters come by this year, a much better turn out than last Halloween. Still leftover candy, tho…whatever will we do? 😄😜

LOL. At one point a few years ago, Statistics Canada listed my little neighbourhood as having the most children ages 5 and under in all of North America. We’re basically a growing suburb in the middle of cornfields, so there’s not a lot to do. 😉 I did notice a lot of older kids this year, but they all had great costumes and were really polite so I didn’t mind at all.

Looks like you had a good Halloween. A quiet one for me.
I like the idea of designing as you go, it helps me keep my town organized and put into storage things that do not work.

Hey MAB! Have an awesome week 🙃 Halloween looks like fun in your neck of the woods!
It is fun but it’s actually very low-key here. We don’t get trick-or-treaters just arriving because no-one would be prepared for it. So it is ‘by arrangement’ – a group of 3 parents with kids of similar age started doing it about 4 years ago and it’s grown as more friends have joined in each year. Once they start to feel ‘too grown up’ for Halloween it will probably fizzle out. But for now it’s fun! 😄
MAB- That looks like such fun. How do I qualify for a ticket to ‘MAB’s WORLD’ for next year?……💜X

So you like High N’ Dry better than Pyromania? For me, it’s a toss up between Pyromania and Hysteria though I love Bringin’ on the Heartbreak/Switch 625. I also love my coworker’s reactions when I listen to Def Leppard at work. I’m known as the ska/punk girl (just look at what popped up this week) so when I deviate from that, it’s always shock.
I’m Hysteria but love all their albums. Yes even Slang
Slang is so underrated as an album. I think I’ll listen to it later on today.
