Many times we state we only put up Spoilers when we feel there is a specific need or good reasoning behind it. The main issue is EA can, has, and will change their minds on us and the information when it goes live may be different then initially “teased” to us. That being said, I also know MANY of you just want to get an idea of what Buildings, Characters, and Decorations may be coming up on Black Friday. Therefore, I think this is one of those times that we can put some Spoilers up. 🙂
I have compiled a list of those “teased” items, just beware these are indeed Spoilers and due to early release on the info… what you actually see in YOUR game may vary on item and timing. Always double check YOUR game to see what pops up in YOUR game and be sure to come back on Friday for the most accurate information on how these sales will play out for YOU. 🙂

GENERAL CONCEPT
First up… the main idea of these sales…
- Unlike past years (where twelve old item returns for a discounted price, one at a time, every hour, twice a day, each day of the sale), this year’s sale will feature a variety of Mystery Boxes.
- The items in your Mystery Boxes are items you do NOT already have in your game OR they are items that you may be able to get more than one of.
- If you already have all the items from a Mystery Box in your game, and all of the items are unique, you will not see that Mystery Box. If you have ALL the items already, you may not even see a Mystery Box at all… or a very very limited few.
- As with any Mystery Box, it’s a mystery which of the items within you will receive. So if you want one particular item, it may take several cracks at that Mystery Box to get said item.
- This is a list of items in the Mystery Boxes based off of the information at the time of this post. EA can change that information at anytime before the Sales go live in your game.

Summary
On Friday, I will have a series of 8 posts highlighting all the items within each of the eight Mystery Box. You will have all day Friday and all day Saturday to purchase these Mystery Boxes, so don’t panic if over 16 hours have elapsed and you haven’t seen a post on the Mystery Box you are eager to learn about.
If you have none of the above items, it will cost you 7,330 to unlock all the items in Boxes 1 to 7.
Box 8 requires 1 token each time you want to open it. While you will earn one free token on Black Friday, in order to obtain additional tokens, you will have to spend your real-life money to purchase a dozen donuts, a stack of donuts, a truckload of donuts, or a store full of donuts.
In addition to these 8 Mystery Boxes, there will also be a ninth Mystery Box on Sunday released for Cyber Monday.
Again, this Post is all speculation at this time. I wouldn’t be surprised if they extended the first eight Mystery Boxes to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and pushed the Cyber Monday Mystery Box to Monday. They may also add or remove items between now and then. But again, time will tell.

Not to thrilled with the mystery box layout. Would have preferred a more straight forward approach so that I could actually buy what I wanted not hope I get lucky. Depending on what’s in the boxes I might just pass it altogether.
In Holland there’s a discussion about the mystery boxes in games (any game). It even has reaches our Tweede Kramer (comparable with the British House of Commons and your House of Representatives) It is thought to be gambling.

I’ve been putting off getting Maison Derriere hoping it would show up on Black Friday, so thrilled to see it’s there, with the potential to get that character/building combo for only 50 donuts! And I also wanted Powell Motors, which is only 80 donuts! These prices are more than 50% off!!! But, once I get those two, I don’t think (i’ll have to check to be sure) that I’ll have any non-limited-time character combos left to buy, which, strangely, makes me kinda sad…
I’ll probably get everything I don’t already have (except for things I actively don’t want, if they’re left by themselves in the box)…I just hope the Christmas event doesn’t start too soon, since there will be lots of new questlines to go through!
. Box 5 is a good deal if I could get Little Lisa’s recycling plant but I don’t know if it’s worth the gamble.
As others have said I would rather pay more donuts for something I actually want. I’m not a fan of the mystery boxes.

When I first glanced down through the list, I thought it was saying that the first box would be available at 1:20, lol! But, then I realized that you were saying that the items in box one cost 20 donuts, smh. That’s what I get for trying to use my brain before I’ve had my caffeine fix. 😉
Yes, they’ll be available throughout Black Friday.
That’s the good thing about this new format, then….no more stressing about having to make sure I log in at certain times to get the items I want! 🙂

I don’t mind the mystery boxes for events, but I’m annoyed by all of the different boxes and different levels.
Also, Safi – I blame you for me working on my Springfield Heights, I didn’t even know that 2 billion was a thing and was quite content with my 1.1 or so. So I’m now up to 1.49 working towards 2.
Love it. Almost a multi-billionaire. The finish line is so close!

I’m not as annoyed by the mystery boxes as I am the massive disparity between the prizes in some of them.
In Box 3 I could end up with the Lotto ‘N’ Liquor w/ Largo which is a great deal…or I could end up with Sequel Stop that is just an awkward standalone building with a meh payout.
On the rare cases where it’s animated, Sequel Stop does have a pretty cool animation…
Wise Guy is the one character who animates Sequel Stop. Wise Guy lives at the Sequel Stop 24/7 in perpetuity in my town. At least he’s got a half bottle of confiscated water to keep him hydrated and cheer him up about his Kafka-esque existence.
Hmmm…I’m gonna farm donuts for Box 7. I typically don’t have time to do a full 10 day KEM farm so I do 1 day KEM farm, usually I get about 40-60 donuts per day. But I can’t decide whether to get a box or two, or get Mrs. Bouvier…decisions, decisions.
Safi what do you think I should do?
Turn the collider on for 5 days, and try to constantly farm 4 (maybe even 5) times a day. Cut down on the number of KEM you farm, so as to not deplete your cash the first day.
Wow… I just want almost everything !! Great prices for some deals… Thinking about buying 300 donuts for cash second time in my life (first time was for Valentine’s mystery box, I just wanted to have all the ladies available…)
I will really try to push my KEM farms to max… nowadays peacefully collecting maybe 30donuts per day…
Looks like this week I will destroy all my in-game cash 😂 and clean all debris from inventory… But it’s worth it 😍
If you’re going to buy donuts, wait until Friday. That way you’ll also earn tokens in addition to the donut purchase. And those tokens will get you items from box 8. So it’s like getting free items as a bonus on top of the donut purchase.

Not a fan of this model. There are items I’d love to have sprinkled inside of these boxes alongside a large number of items I don’t. Actually, I’d be willing to pay MORE donuts to ensure I actually got those items than “gamble” at a lower rate. I’ve enjoyed the mystery boxes this year (mostly; I tapped out both Halloween ones and was very happy to do so but some others I ignored) but throwing it into Black Friday where everything is a gamble…no.
I appreciate the heads up on these Black Friday mystery boxes. I’m liking box 7 the best, but there are items in almost every box that I want. I don’t mind mystery boxes during events, but I would have liked to see Black Friday be an actual sale on individual items. Not rebates, not boxes, no small windows of time for certain items, just a weekend of discounted premium items without gimmicks that we could pick from. I think that might actually increase donut sales for EA if people knew that they could actually buy what they wanted for less than regular price.
Also, why didn’t you elaborate on what’s in the Cyber Monday box? Will you do a post on it before the weekend? I just want to weigh my options before I spend my sprinkles.

I am thinking I have a fair amount of those premium items as I am pretty good about buying everything possible.
That said, I have 2 unclaimed premium items. I searched the TSTO site and just cannot find anything on the items that come when buying donuts in the store. I have 2 unclaimed items. An RV with tree on top ($9.99 donut bundle) and some statue of a guy and two women ($99.99 donut bundle).
Can anyone comment on these two items regarding their bonus percentages and worthiness?

This is the most looked forward to event of the year! I am not happy with this at all.
Thanks for putting this together! I’m glad there’s one free token coming for these, but there are a few items I don’t have in that last mystery box, so I may not get the one I want (Shapes w/Muscular Marge)…a few costumes and NPCs in the other boxes I missed before I was donut-rich from KEM-farming, though, so this’ll be a nice way to get some of those.
I do hope that this “super-premium” offer stuff doesn’t become too common (Shelbyville stuff, Squeaky-Voiced-Peasant, and now these tokens), but this is EA after all…

But I don’t think it’s the end of the game, I think they’re probably just looking at new ways to sell items to make it fun and to give everyone a chance at hopefully getting something they do not already have.
There’s lots of items for newer players who are not yet bored with the game who would more than likely be happy with the box offers.
I think the game will of course end eventually, but there’s still many more event ideas and characters and decorations that they could introduce before that happens.

Box 7 looks tempting to me. I have 9 of 19 items. The only one that’s meh to me is the ESBN Desk. Really forgettable one-off character. I’m kind of excited for the free token to try in box 8. That’ll be a nice present.

She called it several weeks ago, EA have changed their business model as a result of donut farming. Basically box 8 has to bought with real money to get a token, no amount of donuts, farmed or otherwise, or in game cash will allow you to buy those items.
Looks like this is how EA will go from now on.

Merci Safi! I’m just looking forward to Christmas now. Since I’ve been playing since the beginning of time I have most things already. There are some skins I’d like to get for the quest-lines but EA didn’t include us old timers (still miffed about it) last time around. I’ll be intrigued to see what’s in my boxes tho. I barely look at my vault these days, tho I do think it’s a cool idea, just maybe swap some stuff out. I’d be happy with some apple or orange teees rather that jet bikes etc (for decoration purposes, not multipliers). Anyway, free is free so I won’t complain….much😊……..💜X
Think I’ll save my donuts. I don’t like the random result of what you get when you go for a mystery box. Box 7 may be worth a try with 80 donuts for a buidling/character combo chance unless the Wicans are NPCs, then I’m not willing to risk it. In my opinion, spending donuts for NPCs just isn’t worth it. You get nothing in return for your donut investment. Since we will get a free token, I’ll use it for Box 8 and see what I get, but as a Freemium player, that will be it.

You get one free and then if you want more you have to spend cash…actual real life money…to buy donut packages. Each package comes with a token. (or several)

I hate the concept of these boxes. Most of the time it’s 90% of stuff that I don’t even remotely want, regardless of whatever discount it may sell for. In the end it may cost me much more until I get a desired item by having to buy multiple boxes or frustration because I don’t get the desired item and stop buying. In the end, both options are not making me want to spend my donuts. And I currently have 3003 of them waiting… but no, I don’t play this way.
