We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So I have 3 daily challenges completed, and number 4 would be launching right about the same time as act 3 would be launching so will I get to access it immediately if I use my daily Challenge as soon as the act begins or will I have to wait another 24 hours?
You’d have to wait another 24 hours. You would only get tomorrow’s Daily Challenge if you had an empty slot at the start of the day.
Anyone have any thoughts Arnie Pye? Have him in my vault this week, checked the should I buy post and some people were complaining about him flying around in the way all the time if I send him for an hour task … Is it still a big issue?
They fixed that annoying glitch. He can now fly freely without you worrying about tapping him.
I think he’s great! Go for it 😊
Arnie Pye is a fun character, in my opinion. It is true that two of its jobs (1 h and 12 h, I think) cause him to fly around, but since some patch in 2017 he is unclickable, so you will not be moved to Channel 6 studios. The same applies for Kodos and Norbert Van Houten.
The issue was him always getting in the way if you tap near him. All the flying characters have been fixed so you can no longer tap them in flight. I chose not to purchase him for that very reason. It is no longer an issue and hence no longer the most hated character.

He has a horrible voice, I usually have him walking the dog, anything to not be flying. Whatever else you were thinking, I’d go with that.
It snowed Saturday night.. spent the afternoon shoveling. And now they’re saying Wednesday the temperature will be going up to 70F! Whacky weather we’re having here… but I’ll take all the warm days. I’m ready for spring. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Anyone else ready for the end of the event? I’m bored. I like the Mad Max movies but this event is getting tedious. I’m not really not excited about the new items and prizes. The upcoming prizes and offerings are a bit meh. I thought Slaghold looked cool, but I figured I’d wait on it but now I wonder if I really want it?
I love Moe’s Express. The stools are always occupied in my town and Moe is always ready to pour. I like the Mega Playscape, the ship and the training ground but the other Junk Base and the Ruffian Fort probably won’t have a place in my Springfield. New characters are usually good, but I’m going to pass on Wendell, Mountain Man and Eric. I don’t want Wendell constantly spewing in my Springfield.
The mystery boxes were great though. I love most of the returning content. I bought all the Date Nite items except the Rio Days Inn Ero. Great deals on character combos. I will probably get all the Doomsday items. 40 donuts is a fair price for most of the items. I got the one item I really didn’t want (the pileup) in my first try in both of my Springfields. Oh well, the bonus is good for the price. I finally have a premium skin for Marge, Mayan Marge! I still haven’t gotten the Zombie sandwich. Only three more items to go in the Doomsday Mystery Box! After that, I’ll just save for St. Patrick’s Day items. I need Giuseppe, the Wishing Well with the Leprechaun, Pride of Ulster Banner and Northern Irish Leprechaun and Father Sean. Here’s hoping to see the rivers run green!
I agree! Cannot wait for this event to end. The only reason I’m playing is to get stuff that I won’t have to worry about popping up later in mystery boxes. Date box was good for me and I cleared it out along with the Doomsday items. All I had left was the trash pileup and I left it in there. Once this event is done, to storage all of it goes 😜
Has there been any update or further reasoning from EA about the Land Embargo? I’m still wondering what the plan is.
I think the plan is exactly what you see…limiting town growth through control of available land. I don’t think you’ll see it changed anytime soon…sigh😞.
That is a shame. The way my town looks now, i will not have enough land for the next event. Especially if they are only doling out a few parcels in Events. Its seems that i may have to skip an event to be able to acquire enough land to put new items and purchased item on. 🙁

Hi I am unable to tap people in upper left corner and go to the person. Also recently old task came back like thanksgiving one and my xp – income radius disappeared. Any help please
Your town got corrupted. It has happened to a lot of people in the last 6-7 months. I’m sure you’ll find a lot more wrong than just those couple things you mentioned.
You can either contact EA immediately or live with it while you hope for a fix to come with one of the updates. I’ve heard the “fix” they currently have is they have to do a rollback on your town.
Usually EA does a roll-back to the last day your town was normal, so time is not your friend here. Contact them by phone immediately and have them do a roll back…the longer you wait, the more you will lose.

Hey everyone, happy Sunday.
TSTO comment: managed to grind about 40M between school work, and dumped it on BMs. Got 360 donuts from it, giving me 510 total. Got 6 Valentines Mystery Boxes, and am pretty satisfied. Got Dia-Betty, which was great considering her previous price. Also got Shauna, Brendan, Le KB, Up Up and Buffet and Swanky Fish, the only one I was disappointed with. Am debating between Wendell and Erik for the last 150 donuts, as from what I’m aware we will get a Last chance offer on him. Classic character vs nice bonus %…hmmm…would appreciate some insight. Also just got Maggie, and gotten a couple bonut rounds too.
Non TSTO comment: University of Guelph has been very busy as of late, hence why I’ve been quiet of late. Had a presentation on Parkinson’s Disease and 2 midterms within 2 days of each other. Thankfully I have this next week off to catch up a bit and relax.
And also forgot to mention I’ve been watching my fellow Canadians at the Olympics. In particular I watched the Women’s Snowboard Cross, as my aunt’s son’s daughter, Carle Brenemann, was participating. Sadly she made it 4th in her group in the quarterfinals, so she didn’t make it to the semifinals. But it was fun cheering on a relative at the Olympics!
TSTO comment: if you need some XP boost, I suggest getting Eric and the Dodgeball court (as I did). But then again, if that’s the issue, you should actually get Mystery Boxes instead 🙂

Well, the Valentine’s Mystery Box worked out better than I feared! All I really wanted was Mindy, but I had a pile of donuts so I took some chances. I got: 1) Becky (pretty good); 2) Up Up and Buffet (ugh); 3) Brendan (eh, it’s a character at least); 4) Mindy (yay!). So I stopped there. But is anyone else having a problem completing her quest chain? Homer needs to buy champagne, but that’s not an option under any of his skins. From what I’ve seen online this is a long-standing bug with no solution, but maybe some of you know otherwise?
You really only need Homer to be free and Kwik-e-Mart.Others have mentioned the same bug.
I had no problem completing this questline. Maybe it’d help if you temporarily stored the KEM?
Tried that, and Homer still doesn’t have the task.
It took me 6 tries to finally get Mindy and complete the set of plant workers while loading up my bad book in the process. All these tasks will have to wait until end of event. 😀
I tried three times, although my biblical bad luck, and ended up getting Mona, Becky and Jacques (yay!).
Still, Mona has no 12h job. I guess it has something to do with getting here standalone instead of through the 2016 mini-event. Is it only me?
I too am having a problem with Mona. Her quest has not started and she is unable to feed the birds with grandpa.
You must have at least one bench for that task. Adding one might solve your problem.

I have a question what kind of Xp. Do you get for visiting neighbors
Is it worth it during events it is so hard I have 95 neighbors I am also at like 300 percent but it takes over a hour to visit everyone
Also I don’t know why when people quit the game they don’t go in and remove all there neighbors so we don’t have neighbors that don’t play anymore.

It may have changed, but it used to be 25 base XP per neighbour action, for a total of 7500 for visiting all 100 neighbours. And that’s with your XP Collider off. I’ve already done my actions for the day, so I can’t check.
Thanks Safi that is what I was looking for I only had Xp collider on when we first got them. Just trying to take it easy on the game and my self I don’t want to get burnt out. It’s just hard for me someday going to every neighbor. Love this game but I also love my wife and my life

Neighbors – During Events is not worth it. Hit your event quota and stop. When you need to chase NPC’s they don’t know you visited. When you have to hit buildings they do know.
When events are over hit them up to remind them you are still playing. They will see your name. I manage my friends and kick them off if I see them not playing within 4 weeks. I do this between events when I can see they have no free buildings to tap.
Only other reason to visit every single friend is a chance for donuts which is statistically terrible especially if you have 300 percent as you stated. Just Kem once or twice and you will get more donuts than you would in a weeks worth of friend visits.
I’m at 525% btw and stopped event friend visiting a long time ago due to the time sink involved. It’s just WAY too slow.
Another reason to visit is to, “stop and smell the roses”, see what your neighbours are doing design wise with the Event stuff. But maybe that’s just me.
Tip: Only visit one neighbour town on Monday, after 8 am GMT, to “set the clock” then when act 3 starts you can claim the other 9 and have Tuesdays 10 too.
Make sure you leave enough time to collect from your Springfield and the 9 towns before the 24 hour counter resets – don’t do it at 8:01 !!
Anyone else seeing the KEM prices go higher? Farmed and sold my KEM like normal then when I went to build first one for farming, price started at $4300!!! Usually it is like $59. Did EA change the prices?
It usually starts at $220. No, they didn’t change the price.
$4,300 is the price for the 19th Kwik-e-Mart. Excluding your main Kwik-e-Mart, you either forgot to sell 17 of them or accidentally stored 17. Check your Inventory or your town. Once you sell those 17, you’ll be back to starting at $220.

To all of been playing for a few years now, is anyone impressed by the fact that if you try to suss out the actual width of your town it’s like 4’ square just on your phone? At least mine is. I really hope someday they let us print it out. I pad scale would be freaking huge! EA! I’d pay a few bucks to be able to download a hi res photo

Does anyone have anyone to date count of playable characters thru the end of act 2 in the current event? Total playable characters in the entire game, not just asking about this event. I’d like to figure out who I am missing.

I think I have 10 adults and 9 kids.
Check your character collection inventory. If you click on the hammer (as if you’re buying something), then to the bottom left there is a trophy. When you click there, it will tell you every batch of characters you have completed and which ones are missing.
My rough count is ~295 Playable Characters,
PLUS another Half Dozen in the last column for the current Event.
Some may be NPC.

Do you know if we are going to get a shot at any presidential stuff tomorrow? I’ve been waiting patiently to buy Abe Lincoln and his cabin.
Historically, they’ve typically been released at the US Fourth of July holiday. I know tomorrow is Family Day in most of Canada. Not sure if that is President’s Day in the US. But even so, I wouldn’t expect them.
Tomorrow is President’s Day here in the US. That’s a bummer we won’t get a chance to get any Presidents tomorrow but gives us plenty of time to save up for July 4th 🙂

Happy Sunday everyone. I’ve been focused on playing the event that I haven’t done any of the quest lines of my new characters. My task bar is out of control. I had some luck playing the Valentine mystery box. Simpson tapped out aside I’m starting a new job in 3 weeks which I’m excited about but also a bit stressed out with the change. The last year I’ve been stuck doing contract work now I landed a full time job. Happy Tapping everybody 😲

I’m in Chicago, and I’ve been able to go a few times. One of my top 5 favorite shows.
Chicago is one of my top cities, originally from the Midwest and visited there whenever I could. Hamilton will join my top shows also.

I have a large Duff Gardens area in my town and love it. You can craft other items once you have the Garden. I have used them in other areas also. Good luck.

Sooo.. I just realized this week that I have an issue with Ray Patterson. I can’t get him to go on 1 hour missions (because it says the Kwik-e-mart isn’t available. Anyone have an idea how to fix that?
it happened to me when I bought the police tank. During the quest at some pint the kwik-e-mart get destroyed.
Have you tried storing and then re-placing the KEM?
If you have a skin it will do that too. When I have my “kill-E-Mart” facade turned on some of my characters can’t use the building.
Ray Patterson can also go to the Springfield Pet Shop (SPS) for his 1 hour task, if you have this building then you would not have to worry about this issue with the Kwik-E-Mart and it unlocks some more tasks for animals to use this building. The SPS is currently in the Vault with a 25 donut rebate (65 donuts net) and it comes with Selma’s pet Iguana Jub Jub who is a full character.
Good morning! Hi Mab! Hi everyone! Finally over my lingering sinus cold, and now my oldest daughter has caught the nasty bug that I had, so will be nursing her for a bit. Did a job interview yesterday for part time cashier that turned into an interview for full time assistant store lead and was told to expect a second interview once they talked to their general manager. Finally my four and half years of quality assurance II is paying off especially since I was training people during the last two years😁
Game wise just got the last prize at midnight so barely made it. Caved for the vday box and got the fiesta terrace which was one of the two things I wanted. Going to save my donuts even though I wouldn’t mind having the juvenile detention center. Happy tapping everyone, today is major cleaning day for me but will stop by later.

So I’ve had to accept that the moving in process may take as long – if not longer – than the moving out part! While I have made progress it’s been slow going. Fortunately my office is basically sorted apart from placing a water feature on a shelf outside the window with two pot plants on either side. The idea is that it will provide a little white noise to cut down in the traffic noise. The shelf is ready, the water feature is made, I’ve identified two pony tail palms that should work well with it so hopefully I can get it into place this week.
But my house is another story…. My garden looks like a nursery that doesn’t take the best care of its plants. Everything is still alive (I think) but I haven’t made any attempt to try and arrange things so that they get the sun or shade that they need. Fortunately we had light rain & cool weather most days last week so I didn’t have to run around watering things. And although today was back up to 37° (98,6°F) I’m hoping for some good rain because we’ve been having thunder for the last 3 hours! And inside the house is livable but mainly because I haven’t had time to unpack any more boxes this week. ☺️ But at least I’ve found homes for most of the stuff that I unpacked last weekend – even if it might have to change as I rediscover more stuff 😄 Also still waiting for the fridge to return! Living without one is not the end of the world but isn’t sustainable longer term. However, it does mean that I have to buy food everyday as I can’t keep anything fresh for very long – and I’d prefer not to visit the supermarket daily! Holding thumbs it will return tomorrow!!! 😄
I’ve been playing a little more than I did last week and have managed to get a fair number of bonuts each day just from logging in two years or three times a day. It also helped that I started sending kids and adults to separate bases for their 4 hour tasks so that when I was close to the 6000 colas needed I would just collect from 1 base and once I made them collecting from the other base gave me a jump start on the next round. When they were all in one base I would often ‘lose’ a couple of 100 of them which seemed like a waste… 😄 Now trying hard to remember to keep the daily challenge from today and tomorrow to give me a jump start on Act 3… ☺️

Everything here is popping up already…we have daffodils and day lilies coming up everywhere 😃! Gave all the beds a good serving of Osmocote (timed release plant food), so we are good for a couple months…now we just need a little rain to help it work.
You have an amazing variety of succulents and dracenas…wow! Can’t wait to see what you do with it all…and what water feature you come up with. Also, hope your fridge arrives soon. “Camping” is only fun for a little while, then we want our appliances back and life to go back to normal. Just think how nice it will be when the last box is emptied (or stored)…😁.

Good morning to all the tappers. Just activated Outland Maggie yesterday and now trying to get more bonuts. I finally spent my first $10 on the game to get Hans Mechman and I believe 190 total donuts. I agree we need to support EA to keep the game going. Been playing for 3 years and this is my first purchase. I’m not going to spend a lot of money but $10 for 3 years of fun is pretty cheap imo. Just my 2 cents worth.

Damaged Courthouse bug? Has anyone else bought the Damaged Courthouse facade, but is still able to buy “more”? I’m sure not doing it, but I have the option, which isn’t happening for the other unique items. No biggie, just weird, and wondered if it was just me.
Didn’t “buy” it cuz I like my regular courthouse where it is and don’t want to lose it. Wish they had come up with some other building that wasn’t a skin…kind of a wasted prize for me.
