As a silent protest, each of my Springfield Zoo’s exhibits have a nice crowd looking on…except for Warmongers, with a noticeable lack of interest from zoo attendees.
Anyway, Long story short… is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.
Ive made 8 donuts with one day of Kem farming with a booster. Im very proud of myself, and am getting ready for serious KEM farming

Happy Sunday everyone!! I wasn’t going to visit my game today tired of seeing the limit thing… But since Patric shined like a diamond and stated NPC’s count onto tapping I will be doing. Question how can I like what someone comments? This WordPress account what is it? Also thanks for the safety, I am one on the East coast getting prepared for a Hurricane Florence…. not looking forward to her as she is expected to be bigger and stronger than a Hurricane Hugo back in 1989 when I was youngin lol and I slept through the entire thing. Now married, 2 kids, and 10 dogs later I can’t sleep through it… I have my checklist and the only thing I need to extra extra stock on is bread and water everything else 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Hi,I hope everyones weekend has been great and I also hope that your zoo event has been much better than mine has been (a total failure!)
I think EA need to re-think how the events are played out because as it stands at the moment – a lot of newbies (new money?) will lose interest because they can’t complete them and long term players (old money) through no fault of their own (in my case) don’t complete the acts (and stop giving money to EA)
I would suggest that all the acts in main events are played consecutively with no breaks (the 2 week shenanigans!). This means you complete act 1, you move straight onto act 2 then onto act 3 ect, then you can move onto bonut collection for the rest of the event. This way new players will get a sense of achievment as they have completed the tasks (and acts) through the 4 hour grind and not have 3 acts of “I nearly completed it but got no substantial prize at all” (as an aside I’ve read Patricks “log in 4 times a day and you will keep up” posts – but it doesn’t always work out like that!)
I don’t mean to sound like I’m bitter about it (I’m not at all) – I had a really great camping holiday with my youngest boy (roller-coaster heaven for him!) Unfortunatly the site had p1ss poor wifi and and a mobile signal was lucky at the best of times
However, I would rather have had 2 complete acts than to have 2 half completed acts (2+3) whereas I feel nothing has been achieved (ooh wow – a free land token (sigh))

Which one of the 5 Zoo areas are people trying to get two of, or is one enough since they earn no money and take up valuable land space?
Currently dropping frogs in low scoring neighbours and getting a few bonuts, however is it worth getting bonuts when you can farm them with less effort? Perhaps KEM farming has removed some of the pleasure / sense of achievement from the game.
Had walking on the beach this morning in glorious sunshine and thunder and lightning this evening, cannot complain.
I have two Big Cat and two Great Plains, and I’ll probably try to get at least one more Plains.
So…this is fun. I was doing some remodeling and put my Springfield Dam in storage. Went to take it out…gone. Scrolled through all decorations, it’s just not there. Still shows I completed that bit of Cecil’s money task.
Anyone else run into this? Is there a solution that doesn’t involve contacting EA? Normally I would…but the last time something like this happened (stored a character who then disappeared), I spent an hour on the phone with the EA “help” tech who told me I had too many things stored and I needed to get rid of or place objects. Needless to say, that was NOT the solution, and I vowed never to contact them unless it was the last resort.
Also…fun-fact, not sure if anyone noticed this: If you are at your limit for neighbors but still get friend requests, no longer does it say “you or your friend have reached their limit.” It acts like you added the person. I realized this after wondering if I had hit my limit. Checked to see I was at 101 (which seems to be the limit, despite being told we can only have 100), clicked to add another neighbor, didn’t get the message and that person is not listed. Not sure why this is a new feature…
Never mind about the dam. Went back through inventory, there it was. Not in alphabetical order, mind you.

Right, but what I’m seeing is even though I’m at the limit (Springfield heights ranking list shows 101, forgot it counts me as well), if I select to add someone it no longer tells me I can’t add them. It acts like it did, but they aren’t there…since I hit the limit.
I think this is a new, annoying feature. I prefer for it to tell me I hit the limit so I can keep the person in my list until I make some room.
Seems to me that genius doesn’t mean what it used to .

Can anyone help I can’t log on to my game
Today is nearing my expiration of 24 hours 5 times XP for 5 donuts. I have learned to drop the “nickel” just prior to collecting. (Sometimes I wish the oval collection circles would ignite neighboring ovals so that most collecting could be accomplished with a single TAP.) I have my farming fields with Kwik E Marts. I collect KEM XP and then sell them. I deplete all my savings as I buy KEMs. I am at level where selling 20 KEMs gets me donuts. I need to try and have 100,000 Simpson’s dollars in case I have to buy 2 additional donut boxes. Placing the purchased KEMs can be done in long rows by hugging the border. The KEMs also earn XP at completion of 4 hour build time. As the weekend allows me more time to play, this method of donut farming works quite nicely!
I am forever grateful to all of you hosts for maintaining this site and for allowing me to find it and visit often!
Sounds like you need to up your bonus %. Also it is better to buy 10 days instead of 1 day of XP.
In my opinion, if you are not generating enough in game cash this does not work so well. I always try to save as much in game cash as possible first around one million or more, turn the collider on for just one day and use every single Springfield dime I have during this time.
I personally leave it going at all times. I do have over 200 characters now, mind you, but they alone generate a bonut box after a set of 12hr tasks with a just shy of 400 bonus percentage with it on. So 25 donuts for 10 days is a lot cheaper than turning it on once 10 times in the long run.
I hope everything is going ok and getting back to normal to those who have had some real nasty weather traveling all over the USA including those in California with the fires and heavy smoke. I live in FLorida and have since 1993 and I hope everyone on the east coast are prepared for the busy season after 3 quiet months on the gulf & east coast. I know the pacific coast was busy. I have been thru hurricanes more than I can count from Key West to Virginia.
Been playing for just over a year and I am Addicted to the game, only thing I play on my phone. lol In game about every 4 hours over a 18 hour period sometimes more times that that depending on the event.

Happy Sunday from London (England)! I’ve really enjoyed the zoo update, everything collected and now onto bonuts. But I’m constantly annoyed by the item limit which is now making my town much less green as I have to cull my tree lined streets. 😒
A couple of questions should any fellow addicts know the answers
1) Do NPCs count towards items limits? I’ve got loads to store if it means I can put my trees back.
2) in some of my neighbours’ towns grandpa Simpson is running around in his underwear. What job is this?!!

I think he’s supposed to be baby new year. I could be wrong, though.
1) I don’t believe that NPCs count towards the item limit but they might make the game slower or lag however I am not 100% sure if this has been fixed since I have most of my NPCs in storage.
2) I believe that task for Grampa is a 4 hour task called “Celebrate New Years” which was available on new years 2016 (I think?). I still have that task available for Grampa but I don’t really send him on it because he is usually doing something in my town.
I forgot to say happy Sunday, I too have enjoyed this zoo update and started working on bonuts a few hours ago, (I do wish Teenage Homer was voiced though). I haven’t hit the item limit or warnings yet but I know the maximum limit is 11700 items so you could of got a warning of a lower number instead.

That is excellent… I am going to store most of my NPCs too and replace some of my decorations… the item limit struggle is real! I think I’ve stored as many hidden items such as fences from behind buildings as I can find!

I have 100s of them out in town and the moving tappables do not count as an item.

Never got any of the updates many got, which I thought was a good thing. Since yesterday, my game is crashing like crazy. I’ve pretty much deleted almost everything off of my iPad and the game still crashes. Not happy at all about it. Takes 4 times as long to get things done in the game. Hope things are fixed for me soon when the update to delete the event happens. Trying to decide what to do about another game I’ve lost all progress on when I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Despite having an account for that game, I lost everything after 4 years of playing. Luckily didn’t lose this game though. That would be disasterous. Despite still being unemployed, I think it’s time to take what’s left of last year’s Christmas $ I got and put it towards a new iPad that has only TSTO on it.
On an upside, nice cool Fall weather in Massachusetts and the Patriots are currently kicking butt (at half time).
Are you crashing (problems with your pad…shutdowns or blackscreens or game freezes) or getting the Bart screen (problems with EA)? I regularly get dumped from the servers and get the Bart screen, but it has nothing to do with my pad, and everything to do with EA’s servers. There’s nothing you can do on your end if you’re being dumped…it’s just the servers having a hiccup or feeling over-worked.
iPad is not necessary to enjoy this game!
If you have a lot of fences and monorail tracks they count towards limits.
Disabling animations from race track helps to reduce lag too.

Sorry EA your attempt at humor when it came out adding a building for Rosh Hashana is really rather disgraceful. I’m ashamed to say I spent money for the building especially when they rolled out the tasks and comments to go along with Krusty’s jobs.

It rained! 30mm on Thursday, some more on Saturday afternoon and again this morning! Happiness is…🌧🌧🌧😄 and despite the rain today I even managed to play some tennis (which is why this is a little late…☺️). Thursday was actually our best shot at snow this year since it was raining and very cold but obviously didn’t quite get cold enough despite being 4°C (39°F) at 6pm… No rain forecast until later this week but that’s good cos the plants need both to thrive. Since I’ve been watering the pavement garden outside my office and now with the recent rains I have found 11 oak trees sprouting. Going to have to get them out and into pots because there are already two big trees growing there (an oak and a jacaranda) but I think I have already found them nice homes with nice families 😄😄😄
Act 3 is done for now so job st collecting bonuts and buying everything that comes my way 😄 Surprise, surprise but no designing as yet cos that would involve committing to buying some new land and I don’t know where I want it as yet… Will make more zoo pieces to use up all the event currency and then it’s time to see what comes next…?

ps – moezaic216: coral trees are indigenous to South Africa and I’m embarrassed to say it don’t know if the flowers have any scent! In my defence they are usually massive trees (massive for us not for Europe/N. America etc) so the flowers are well out of reach but I promise to find a fallen one and I’ll let you know ☺️😄😄😄

Hi MAB! Yay for rain! We got some ourselves this weekend, though I don’t think as much. I am enjoying the cooler weather that came with it, and the fact that it got rid of a fresh wave of smoke.
I think the change in the weather has meant good things for the fire situation (they’re not all out by any stretch of the imagination) because the state of emergency was lifted this past week. Hopefully all the evacuated people all over BC will be able to go home sooner rather than later. With school starting up and Thanksgiving coming in October I’m sure everyone just wants to get settled again if they can.
I didn’t know it could get cold enough in South Africa for snow. But that’s my own fault, really. Most of my knowledge is limited to books and other media. I’m a history nerd and the town a grew up in was named for the Boer War. Ladysmith, just south of Nanaimo. Most of the original streets were named for British military officials. So I have weird little smatterings of history, but not much climate data based in reality. It doesn’t snow much at the lower elevations on the Island either. Snow on Christmas still gets me excited like a little kid because it’s so rare here that it feels like magic.
My sister’s mother in law randomly gifted me a set of mugs as a thank you gift for taking her babysitting duties with my nieces while they’re on holiday in the states. Complete with a thank you card. I was surprised but it was definitely thoughtful of her. Not that I need to be thanked to spend time playing with, reading to, or watching cartoons with the nearly 2 year olds. Game wise, finished the act last night. 2/3rds of my way to a bonut round, so hopefully I’ll squeeze two in before all is said and done, but considering I only got one the previous two acts I won’t hold my breath. Not banking the daily challenges and toads should help on that front.
