The Real Moms of Springfield Prize Breakdown: Mrs. Prince

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s time to celebrate all things MOM in our pocket-sized towns, as The Real Moms of Springfield mini-event has made its way to Springfield! What will happen in the new update?  Will Ruth be sent back to prison?  Will Quimby find any long lost children? Will any of this make sense? You’ll have to read the dialogue to find out. Of course, a new event means new prizes to earn and new prizes mean it’s time for everyone’s favorite prize breakdown posts!

Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the parts of the The Real Moms of Springfield questline, you’ll have to earn  via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

So let’s take a look at the fifth, and final, prize, Mrs. Prince…because even Martin deserves to have his mother back in town…

Martin Needs a Tutor Pt. 1
Mrs. Prince starts

Mrs. Prince: Ugh, parent-teacher conferences today?! Can’t I just go to jury duty instead?!
Judge Snyder: Unfortunately, there haven’t been any violent crimes in Springfield lately, so I have to go too…
Skinner: Don’t worry, Mrs. Prince, this won’t take long…
Mrs. Prince: It’s true, my Martin is perfect.
Skinner: …it won’t take long for me to say Martin needs a tutor. The mislead actually took more time than what I had to say.
Mrs. Prince: A tutor? What could he be failing? He studies so much he doesn’t even have friends.
Skinner: Exactly. School isn’t about grades anymore, it’s about networking. Don’t worry, I have the perfect tutor: who better to help Martin make friends than the only kid who volunteered to tutor in their spare time?
Make Mrs. Prince Act Surprised- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Make Jake Boyman Report to Skinner’s Office- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp

Martin Needs a Tutor Pt. 2
Mrs. Prince starts

Jake Boyman: You want me, the new “new kid”, to teach Martin how to be social?
Skinner: Exactly! As the new kid, you still have that aura of mystery and intrigue.
Jake Boyman: Really? Thank you…
Skinner: Plus your arms look too weak to give Martin a wedgie.
Mrs. Prince: If Martin’s getting a social makeover, I should probably get rid of his nerdy clothes and toys.
Jake Boyman: Actually, nerd chic is in these days.
Mrs. Prince: Good, then they’ll fetch a higher price.
Jake Boyman: Ugh, why couldn’t I tutor something cool, like math?
Make Mrs. Prince Hock Cheap Merchandise- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Make Jake Boyman Study Real Math- 12hrs, Earns $420, 100xp

Martin Needs a Tutor Pt. 3
Mrs. Prince starts

Jake Boyman: All right, tutoring session numero uno, on how to raise your social skills… my most familiar topic. Let’s begin with-
Martin: Maslow’s hierarchy of needs? A sense of belonging and validation of one’s self?
Jake Boyman:What? No. I was going to start with-
Martin: Hygiene? Table manners? *gasp* Body language?!
Jake Boyman: Would you shut up!!  I mean, every friend group needs a quiet guy. Why don’t you try that?
Mrs. Prince: Sounds like tutoring is going great! I better make some of my patented oyster cakes!
Martin: You should get out of here, the last person who ate her oyster cakes ended up– Oops, I forgot I’m supposed to be the quiet guy…
Make Jake Boyman Fire Off- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Make Mrs. Prince Prepare Oyster Cakes- 12hrs, Earns $420, 100xp
Lisa: It was me all along. There is no Jake Boyman.
Skinner: Darnit! Why do all our brightest students end up being in disguise or 40-year-old journalists writing exposés about the school? What made you break?
Lisa: I don’t know what was more off-putting, Martin’s desperation or his mother’s oyster cakes.

WDTCF: A variety of episodes, but her first appearance was from “Bart the Genius” S1, E2

  1. Its nice to have another mother in town and I like her visual tasks. I wish the Prince House would be released so that her 12 and 24 hour tasks could take place there instead of the Brown House. I don’t mind if the Prince House was just a re-skinned version of an already existing house, there could be a mini event for the Prince family to add the house, Martin’s Playhouse, Martin’s Grandma and Mr. Prince.

  2. Mrs. Prince

It’s nice to have a parent (parents) for each kid (kids)
Don’t eat her oyster cakes (lol)
Embarrassed to say I don’t remember seeing her in the Simpson’s 😮
