Where Did THAT Come From- Pos-i-bots, Bestimus Mucho, Carnage Destructicus, and the Human Foosball Table

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

Ok, guys, this is THE big one. This is the WDTCF post that breaks down everything else from this event! Yes, the vast majority of items from the Rise of the Robots event come from two main episodes.  With one episode having items from Acts 1 and 2, and the other having items from Acts 3 and 4. We already covered the items that come from “I, (Annoyed Grunt)-bot”And now that we’re well into Act 4, it’s time to cover the items from the other main episode…”Treehouse of Horror XIX”.  Now that all of the items have arrived in our games it’s time to take a look at this transformer halloween episode to see just where the Flanders Car Pos-i-bot, Simpson Car Pos-i-bot, Bestimus Mucho, ATM Pos-i-bot, Hot Dog Cooker Bot, Squishee Machine Bot, Carnage Destructicus, and Human Foosball Table all come from!

S20, E4 “Treehouse of Horror XIX”
-Morf Transers, Trans Morfers, Snort Farms, Untitled Robot Parody

So all of these items come from one specific part of THOH XIX, and that’s the very first segment (after the opening), a Transformers spoof entitled…Morf Transers, Trans Morfers, Snort Farms, Untitled Robot Parody. So that’s the only part of this episode that I’m going to breakdown to show you where each item appears, but for those that like to know everything about each episode…including the other segments…here are the details from imdb:

“The Simpsons’ 19th Halloween Special, with parodies of “Transformers,” “Mad Men,” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”
After Homer gets eaten by a demonic polling booth an ‘untitled robot parody’ shows Lisa’s Christmas present, a Malibu Stacey car, turn into a transformer as inanimate objects around Springfield follow suit and declare war on each other, Marge’s peace suggestion being less than helpful. Then, after accidentally killing Krusty, Homer is approached by ad men to murder celebrities to avoid paying them royalties for product endorsement – but the illustrious ghosts fight back. Finally Milhouse unwisely conjures the Great – and cannibalistic – Pumpkin on Halloween, requiring a giant turkey to come and save the kids of Springfield.”

So the whole premise of Morf Transers, Trans Morfers, Snort Farms, Untitled Robot Parody,  is set up when Bart realizes he still needs to buy a Christmas present for Lisa.  So he takes a trip into You Forgot-Me-Nots…The Last-Minute Gift Store, to see what he can find for Lisa.

After searching through the $0.99 box looking for the right gift (Expos Jersey, Somber String, Jacks with no ball, and a Slunky), Bart realizes that even though Lisa may be his worst enemy…those gifts are garbage.  He then discovers a truck on the shelf, and tells the truck “Girls don’t like trucks! Come back when you’re something else!”…the truck then transforms into a Malibu Stacey convertible!  Perfect!

Cut to Christmas morning at the Simpson house.  The family is gathered around the tree exchanging presents (lucky Grampa got 3 more minutes of oxygen!), and Bart gives Lisa his gift. Lisa wonders how Bart could ever top his gift from last year, a box of his burps…but Bart has managed to do it with the Malibu Stacey car!  She is so excited she even gives Bart a hug! As Bart and Lisa are hugging, Maggie is staring at the car…and it transforms into Bestimus Mucho!

And immediately sets fire to the angel atop the Christmas tree! (so rude!)

Later that night, while Lisa sleeps, Bestimus comes to life and awakens all of the other Pos-i-bots!  Lisa’s alarm clock, lamp, boombox…and well one more that I won’t say because this is a family site.  But let’s just say you don’t wanna know where he’s been…

The next morning, while at the kitchen table, the Pos-i-bots in the kitchen come to life around Homer…

When Homer wonders if there’s something different about the kitchen, the Pos-i-bots tell him no.  Including the toaster, which transforms into the word No.  Seeing as how the toaster has never lied to Homer before, he takes them at their word and continues reading his paper.

As he leaves his house in the morning and gets into his car we see it transform into the Simpson car pos-i-bot from our games…

Who then battles it out with the Flanders Car Pos-i-bot…

As the Pos-i-bots battle, Flanders attempts to engage in conversation with Homer as they’re both hanging out the backside of the bots.  And as Bart says “finally a boxing day that lives up to its name!”

Homer then asks Lisa what’s happening and she says “Well if I had to guess I’d say that two alien robot races, who’ve been battling for centuries, have chosen our planet as the site for their ultimate confrontation.”

We then cut to downtown Springfield, which has been completely destroyed by the robot battles…

And then a montage of various items transforming into robots and battling it out.  (like the plane bot and jetway stairs) And at the Kwik-E-Mart Apu is briefly shocked when his machines, the Hot Dog Cooker Bot and Squishee Machine Bot, come to life!

As the two of them battle it out, the hot dog cooker throwing hot dogs and the squishee machine bot squirting squishes…Apu yells at them to stop it because they’ve made the nacho machine cry!

Personally, I want to know why we didn’t get the Nacho Machine in our games?

Anyway, after the Kwik-E-Mart scene, we cut to the street where Otto is using the ATM, which then transforms into the ATM Pos-i-bot…

The ATM’s weapon?  Why, it shoots money at you of course!

Of course, Otto starts grabbing at the cash like he’s on an episode of Grab that Dough! (can’t blame him!)

We finally reach the ultimate battle of the bots.  Bestimus Mucho vs Carnage Destructicus…

Both bots gear up and arm themselves for the final battle…

Anyone else wonder how Bestimus went from being super tiny to giant-sized?! Complete lack of continuity…

Anyway, as they prepare to battle Marge approaches them and yells at the two robots to “STOP IT”!

She tells the two “Just because you’re mad at each other doesn’t mean you have to destroy our town.”  She gets the robots to realize they don’t even remember what they’re fighting over!

Carnage says “thank you human grandmother for pointing out it is futile to fight if we do not know why”.  And Bestimus adds “now that we’re not fighting each other we can team up to enslave your planet!”

Good going, Marge!

And the very next scene we see that the Robots have decided to use the humans for a little foosball…

Of course, Marge may have been the one to get them to enslave Springfield but Homer was the idiot who taught them what foosball was…

And that’s it my friends! That covers the final WDTCF post for Rise of the Robots!

Do you remember these items from the show?  Do you have all of the items?  Where have you placed them in your Springfield?  Sound off below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Anyone else wonder how Bestimus went from being super tiny to giant-sized?! Complete lack of continuity…

Actually, Tapped Out itself does offer an explanation:

Bestimus: I can be any size!
Lisa: How does that square with the law of conservation of mass?
Bestimus: Good question, little human. Are you sure you’re not part robot? I absorb surplus mass from the environment as I pos-i-bize.
Lisa: But that car weighs a few ounces and you must weigh tons – where did you find that much surplus mass?
Homer: Woohoo! My belt almost fits!
    Lisa: No further questions.

  2. I can’t believe the game writers forgot about Apu’s 200,000 precisely ordered punch cards comprising the world’s very first
tic-tac-toe program. I thought it might get put into the ending quest but nope. S7e23

  3. I loathe the Halloween episodes and usually don’t rewatch them so for the first time since I found this website I didn’t remember them.

Yeah, I’m going to have to look that one up on Hulu. I would have played this event had I seen the episode. Missing a Treehouse of Horror episode, how embarrassing…

  5. Going to look that one up on Disney+ looks like a good episode to rewatch 😎😁

    • Keith,
the 2 amusing bits about ‘Untitled Robot Parody’ were missing from this Game App

That Treehouse of Horror actually has one of the best Game App Content – the 🎃 King (“revenge!”), but that’s Halloween and that’s what a Treehouse of Horror Segment should pay homage to, not Christmas (in my opinion).
